This is a nice place for a large family or a small group. There were eleven of us and we had room without getting in the way of one another. It was very nice to have a coffee bar. The view was just like Peyton showed.

Very impressed by the decor of the house and all of the amenities, including kayaks, bikes, great patio on a canal. It was very quiet and we liked having the landlord in the other half of the duplex. The landlord was very unobtrusive, but we knew he was there if we would have needed anything. Will definitely try to stay there on our next visit to Corpus Christi

This place was fantastic. quiet and peaceful, and not a ton of road traffic. The house was well kept and had all the furnishings for cooking, enjoying the bay, or simply hanging in the garage with friends having some drinks. Very kid and pet friendly (we didn't bring our dogs but after seeing the well fenced property and pet friendly set up we regretted not bringing them.) The family that owns it has all the things you need to enjoy your stay which is very kind of them to share. Our 2 boys loved the ping pong, darts and shuffle board. Hopefully people respect the items and property in years to come as this is an amazing amenity for them to share. Overall, the property is great, well kept and we would absolutely stay again!

Had a great stay at Howdy Bay! The host was extremely responsive to any concerns. The location was great for fishing, home was beautiful inside… very clean and smelled great! They even provided things that often times get forgotten like toiletries and pantry items for cooking. The deck and fish cleaning station were very handy since we came down to do some bay fishing. We will definitely be back! 5 stars all the way around. Wonderful place to stay… highly recommended.

Five stars all around! The hosts have put tremendous effort into this property. No place is that more clear than their extensive guidebook upon your arrival. The hosts are extremely responsive and helpful. They will give you the space you need, but if you need anything, they will respond quickly. The neighborhood in Holiday Beach is quiet and private. Nobody’s gonna be there unless they are staying there or already living there. The view of the bay and the canals are wonderful. The property seems far away from Rockport, but it isn’t. You can be in Rockport and all it has to offer in 10 minutes at the most. An added bonus for us was being close to the Our Lady of Schoenstatt Shrine. The shrine is a very peaceful and prayerful place. Highly recommend visiting. Please note, the neighborhood’s quiet and peaceful nature disappears on New Year’s Eve. 🤣 Also, you must be able to handle stairs to stay here. Thanks to Michael and his wife for a wonderful stay!

It was very breathtaking very beautiful. The fishing piers were awesome. The swimming pool is great nice and quiet, peaceful we will definitely be going back to fish out there again.

Our Spring Break vacation included high expectations, as our group had multiple generations with different vacation plans. Some wanted to fish, others wanted to shop and explore, while others wanted to simply relax with pets at a canal house. Sherri’s property checked all the boxes! It has a great location, lots of easy fish to catch, and a beautiful, peaceful home right on the canal. We will definitely come back!

This is a great home to get away from it all! It has great wifi. Its very quiet and peaceful. You can walk around the neighborhood freely with hardly any traffic to worry about. Martha and her husband are beyond nice and actively help make your stay everything you want it to be! The house has everything you could possibly need to live there. I highly recommend this place!

We had the most wonderful stay! The house is absolutely beautiful and decorated meticulously! The attention to detail is impressive! It is very well stocked and organized with everything needed. We really enjoyed the outdoor deck and patio areas and the location couldn’t be more perfect! It is convenient to everything. Being able to dock our boat at the house was a bonus and we enjoyed cruising the neighborhood canals in the evenings enjoying the sunsets. Susie is a terrific host and checked in on us during our stay to see if we needed anything or had any questions which was greatly appreciated. She also makes check in/check out extremely easy and convenient. We cannot recommend this house enough and will definitely be back for more stays at this amazing home!

We had a wonderful time! Everything was five star except the price, but I’m sure that is the going rate. We just typically don’t stay at any places on the water and are typically very , lol. Glad we booked it and it was worth what we paid. We had access to their kayaks, John boat and pier and that made the trip. It was a quiet neighborhood and we had no issues. The hosts were super helpful with recommendations and communication after the trip. The place had everything we needed to grill fish at the house And prepare food that we brought for lunch and breakfast. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. We spent most of our time outside, though. Use of the pin fish trap and crab trap and live bait bucket were a bonus. We would like to stay here again.

Thanks for the stay it worked out for us and our pets. Great air conditioning, especially for Texas when it’s 100° out.
