San Juan Property Management advised me of an early check-in, so I took advantage of that. Limited parking but SJPM sent photos and a description of where I could park. Beautiful view of Friday Harbor. 4 units but we were the only ones there. Might be a bit noisy if all four units were occupied.

Great location and view from the balcony. Cleaning fee is high. Our code for the exterior door to the common hallway is the same for the four separate rooms, seems like an oversight but previous renters commented on the same issue in their reviews. One set of earplugs was provided because the shared walls are extremely thin.

We had a nice stay. The rooms were clean, with comfortable beds, and a great location - walkable to all of Friday Harbor town. For the price it was just what we needed. Because of the affordability and the fact that the management was up front about the details, we were OK. We did question our decision with the shared bathroom between all of us - thankful we were all family since the beds, kitchenette, table are all in a common room. There is also no sink in the bathroom, so you'll be brushing your teeth and shaving in the kitchen sink. I wasn't expecting that. It should be noted in the description that the only area for sitting is at the table (seats 4) or on the beds. Other than the front porch of the house, there is no common area. If your family wants to hang out together, even to watch a movie, you'll be heading into town to do it. Overall, we were pleased with the accommodations for the price and would recommend them to a friend.

I stayed here for a retreat post-holidays to reset before going back to work. This place was perfect for that. I felt comfortable and was able to rest without interruption or worry. I appreciated having a kitchen due to my food sensitivities, and the window seat was just lovely.

An amazing stay! The location was absolutely perfect, with easy access to everything we wanted to see and do. The apartment itself was beautifully decorated, creating such a cozy and stylish atmosphere that made us feel right at home. I was very pleased to stay again at Chinook Studio apartment 1 for my visit to family on Orcas. It is so conveniently and centrally located. I could easily walk "uptown". The grounds are well maintained and the apartment itself is cozy and clean. The Nelsons respond quickly if I need to ask for anything. I highly recommend staying there.

A great, cozy place to stay with great accommodations and a friendly host! The surrounding area was super peaceful and quiet, and the cabin is within easy walking distance to the main streets of Eastsound. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a place to stay on Orcas Island!

Vicki is THE superstar host of Airbnb From leaving a little welcome snack box, a list of activities on the island specifically the weekend we were there, and going above and beyond! The studio has a private terrace and breathtaking view to wake up to. Everything you need for a peaceful island getaway 10/10 recommend

What a lovely space! I wish we had had more time to cozy up in the apartment, but we were gone for a lot of the stay. It was pristine, very comfortable and very well stocked. The only kind of interesting thing was the bed is rotated 90º, so one person has to sleep against the wall and crawl over the other if they need to get out. Also, definitely read the instructions on how to find the place because Google Maps took me around the back instead of up the driveway. Thank for for a great stay, Janie, I hope we can come back soon!

This was a cute spot it is located right in the center of town and walkable to main attractions. I was able to walk to the local grocery store to grab snacks and to a coffee shop in the morning for coffee and pastries. The host was proactive and helpful from the day of booking right up until we checked in and out. Would stay again if we are ever back in the area.

Slice of paradise Jim and Betsy are gracious hosts, with a beautiful place nestled in the middle of Orcas Island's forest. They made us feel at home from the beginning, were proactive and communicated well, and made our stay magical. Highly recommended to anyone looking to stay in Orcas.

We had the best time at Ramy’s place! She is an incredible host with wonderful energy. This little slice of heaven is absolutely worth the visit. Bring cash for the boat ride and the farm stands! We will be visiting again!

a beautiful getaway , relaxing and peaceful! my significant other and I do an annual trip to Orcas island to rekindle our love; staying at Chinook studios hosted by Jim and Betsy was delightful! ex: we needed more coffee for the four days that we were there, They made the time to dropped off multiple of coffee packages for our stay. this place is a "Gem" they have a binder with all good instructions. make sure you read in it! lol I didnt,but after staying ; in communication with Jim and Betsy was fantastic and they were very helpful! Note: for garabage and recycles , theres a door gate near unit #1 that are located for disregard your garabage in the green bins and red bin are for recycles. They had extra toilet papers foe the amount of days we were there, was just right! extra towels and 2 beach towels! Our trip was perfect to feel at home. Morning walking out side and seeing the apple trees was magnificent. I would recommend for everything ,especially agetaways!
