We’ve stayed at Mike’s place several times over the years and never had a bad stay. The loft is a perfect peaceful setting that is close to amenities but also has the setup that you don’t need to leave if you want the night in.

SUCH a great place!! so cute and close to the beach!! so perfect I wish I could stay forever! had such a great time I will never forget about this place.

The location was perfect and the amenities suited our needs. The only thing I would say is that if you’re driving, and it happens to be an event day as it was for us, be prepared to pay $106 for 24 hours of parking. Less on non-event days.

I would absolutely stay here again if/when I make it back to Seattle. The unit was spacious and perfectly clean with comfortable furniture. We never had trouble finding parking right outside of the front door. Alki Beach is all the best of a beach town with the convenience of being a 15-min drive into the city. It is a beautiful and quiet area, with plenty of safe sidewalks and paths along the water. Jay recommended lots of great restaurants and coffee shops only a short walk away, and there were multiple grocery stores within a 5 min drive. Jay was a great host! Provided clear instructions for accessing the unit, great local recommendations, and was super responsive. Thank you for having us!

Pat and Barbi have a wonderful finished loft. What a treat. Pat met us in the driveway and showed up the ropes to make things easy. Perfect spot for my daughter and I to crash for a ski weekend. They have a great sunroom for breakfast and relaxing as well. Closest thing to a Bed and Breakfast I've been to through AirBnB.

Debbie's basement unit is our go to spot when visiting family in Seattle. It is clean, cozy, convenient, and a great value for the space. The unit has everything you'll need for a short or extended stay and is within walking distance to the light rail which makes it easy to get around town even without a vehicle. Debbie is an excellent host - friendly and always responsive to any questions or concerns we may have. We would definitely recommend her home.

This was a great place to stay! easy to walk around seattle and see all sorts of things! the retreat itself was super clean, private, and peaceful; I loved it!

Comfortable and clean. Good location. Although the hosts lived upstairs, they did not intrude, remaining available but considerate of our privacy.

We enjoyed staying at Hannah's, although I think next time we would stay closer to Eastsound, as out of the three cafe/restaurants within 5 miles, the two in Olga closed mid-afternoon and the third, in Doe Bay, is only open at Friday-Sunday at this time of year. Fortunately we were able to cook in the small kitchenette in the studio and eat on the deck outside, since it was quite warm outside the two days we were there. Otherwise we had a pleasant time, and Hannah and Pat are very interesting people...

Loved this spot for our family of four. Close to transit so all the tourist goodies were very close. Loved having a full kitchen and laundry available to us.

It is hard to articulate how incredible this place is. From the surroundings and outdoor space, to the beautifully crafted interior, it is clear the host put a lot of time, effort, and love into the place. We were fortunate to be the only ones at the lodge during our stay, so can’t say much about noise. Regardless, the lodge is extremely private and we truly felt at home. Beverly was so attentive and proactive and made the whole experience seamless. From start to finish, we were blown away; will certainly return!

Really lovely place in Cowichan Valley. Jane was a lovely and kind host. The place was exactly as shown/described, with a well stocked kitchen and a comfortable bed. Would stay here again when we're back in Duncan!

Super amazing host!! Helped us out so much and had a very clean and nice place. It does get a little loud outside at night on the weekend but I would still stay there again next time I come.

Agata’s place was so beautiful, in a great location and very comfortable to stay in! There was lots to do around the area and it felt very safe. It was very easy to check in, even when going with a vehicle and the instructions were super easy to follow. Agata also responded quickly to messages and made communication stress-free. Fabulous! We enjoyed Julianna’s sweet upscale stylish lodging. It was very clean, neat, and tidy with nice amenities. The bed was so comfortable, the sheets (so soft) and towels were fluffy white and high quality. The kitchen was perfect to prepare a meal, we opted to have most our meals out. The outdoor space looked so inviting. We hope to utilize the fire pit on our next visit. The Airbnb is located within walking distance to fun restaurants, wineries and breweries. We were only there two nights for family get together in North Bend and Snoqualmie pass. We hope to stay for a longer visit and get in a few hikes and enjoy the bike trail. Diane & Mark

What a lovely place! We had an amazing time with our two kids. The neighborhood is really pretty (we came in spring and all the gardens were in full bloom) and we enjoyed the quiet area while being in walking distance to restaurants and shops in Freemont. Every evening we enjoyed a nice sunset on the balcony and then the hot tub for a little spa feeling. This was such a great addition to our Seattle trip. The apparentment really has everything you need for cooking and feeling right at home. Thanks for everything!

We stayed for two nights with our dog! Tom even had a water bowl out for her. Great central location for Mercer Island.

This is my new go-to for rest and relaxation. Sparkling clean with everything I needed to make a big pot of soup. GREAT location for peace and quiet, with plenty of stores and restaurants just 5 minutes away, ten minutes to Bellingham or Ferndale, twenty minutes to Blaine or Birch Bay. Comfy and cozy for a good night's rest after visiting friends, I look forward to enjoying Jack's hospitalilty again and again.
