Michael and Tara were wonderful hosts. They were very responsive each time I reached out. The cottage was exactly as depicted in the photos. Great location close to the beach and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay!

We stayed at Tammy's place with our 2 grandsons. It is a lovely place. The house was spotless and in a great location. Our grandsons spent so much time on the beach which is just steps away from the house. My husband and I could sit on the covered porch and watch them dig for hours. Of course, we were right there with them when they wanted to go boogie boarding (3 boards available at the house). The house was well stocked with dishes, glasses and pots. Tammy gave us recommendations on where to grocery shop and even a nice restaurant down the road. If I had a question, she was very responsive and answered quickly. The hot tub was an added bonus which we all enjoyed at night. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We certainly hope to be able to visit again. Thank you!

My family and I had a great stay. Every picture and everything listed were very accurate. Geat space and lots of sleeping accommodations.

We enjoyed our stay! The home was clean and cozy. Our favorite part was outside as the backyard was very private with a large privacy fence and a play set that our two children absolutely loved, making it easy to visit with family while they were entertained. Would stay again!

Our experience was the best, the house was super clean with all the amenities, the kitchen has all the necessary utensils, a super nice and very safe place. I recommend 200%, Thank you!

The property is beautiful… there is a view from every window and balcony. You can see the ocean and the bay… unique for Galveston Island. There is a pond directly outside and with the fountain, which kept mosquitos away. The kitchen is good for entertaining a family, and there is a formal and outdoor dining area. I would suggest bringing a bed pillow, high quality pan, and extra roll of paper towels. Alex was nice and responsive. The resort is family oriented and the quiet was well worth the 20 minute drive. We will stay with this host again!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! The house is perfect for a family beach trip and Antonio was an excellent host - great communication with all the details needed up front. The ADA beach access was very close and easier to navigate with a wagon than others we’ve used. The place has comfy furnishings and we felt right at home! Specifically, the sofa, beds and linens nice and blackout curtains. We found everything we needed at the cottage: Everything needed for the resort pools and beach (adult and kid beach towels, sand toys, beach chairs, wagon, outdoor shower, etc.). Kitchen: a variety of skillets, pots, and pans, baking sheets, cooking utensils, cups, nice dual coffee machine for k-cup or a whole drip pot. Bathrooms: tidy and stocked with towels, travel toiletries, makeup removal wash cloths Bonus: toys and books for kids, TVs (bunk room, living room, downstairs patio), first aid kit, washer/dryer and deck/rocking chairs to watch the herons and turtles in the lagoon!

This was our second stay at this location. It is perfectly located between the Strand and the beach. When you walk in the door you feel right at home, everything you need is there. The first time we stayed we said we'd be back, we did, next time we head back to Galveston we're going to make our reservations for this location. The host makes the stay so easy with local recommendations.

Loved our stay at the cottage, actually felt much larger than space appeared in pics. Enjoyed the evening on the deck, plenty of cooking pots/pans/utensils, but also enjoyed restaurants close by. Beach just a couple blocks, very easy walk. Ron & Tony were amazing hosts, made sure we knew how to access property and even recommended a great lunch spot for us to try! Highly recommend!

I stayed at this place in Galveston for about 2.5 months between January and March. The place was clean, safe, comfortable, and within walking distance of the ocean. We had some issues with both the washing machine and the fridge, but Seun was quick to respond and get them fixed. I had no serious issues with the property whatsoever, it was exactly as described. The neighborhood overall was quiet in the earlier winter months but got very loud and busy during Mardi Gras and spring break. Almost everything that I needed was within walking distance, I rarely had to use my car for anything. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, and grocery stores all within a 10-30 minute walk. The island is very small, and everything that I needed was practically right next to me. Overall if you are looking to stay in Galveston for any length of time, then this place is perfect. Just remember, the city can get very busy during certain events like the ones I mentioned, so definitely be prepared for that.

Sarah’s place was so clean and cozy! So many amenities to make us feel at home. I would highly recommend this place.

My family & I stayed here to celebrate our vow renewal. The Cardinal Cottage is absolutely so beautiful and peaceful and homey feel! Mallory and Melina are such amazing host and really went above and beyond to make us feel special! Our kiddos loved the upstairs loft area! The front porch is so beautiful as well! This place is 10 out of 10!!! I would book this home again in a heartbeat! Also so close by the shopping mall and so many restaurants!

I had a wonderful stay at the charming speakeasy! The home was not only beautiful and clean, but also filled with so much character and history—it truly felt like stepping back in time, in the best way. It actually looked even better in person than in the photos, which was such a pleasant surprise. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to the Seawall and close to all the quaint shops, restaurants, and sights in old downtown. The host was welcoming and made sure everything was perfect for my stay. If you’re looking for a place with both comfort and soul, this is it. Highly recommend! Thanks Barbara!

The home is very comfortable. We didn’t get to spend much time in it because we were traveling for a baseball tournament, but I would definately stay there again. Linda made sure we had a working laundry set, which was essential to us. Very quiet, laid back. Nice to find basic needs like detergent, coffee, edulcorant, spices, oil, etc… My son’s team won the tournament! Thank you Linda!

We had a great time at Sugar Shores! This is a beautiful home in Galveston with everything you need for your stay. The host was extremely responsive and the instructions were clear.

This is our second time renting Choral Haven. It’s such a nice, cozy home, walking distance to the beach. The home looks just like the picture and everything you need is provided, plus more. We will definitely be back again.

Prof’s home was perfect! Close to all the activities but far enough away to be a quiet and peaceful escape. The kitchen had everything and the space was so clean!

We had a great stay in Galveston. Tom’s house was clean, nicely furnished, organized without being overly cluttered with instructions on every little thing. We enjoyed having nice neighbours and were able to easily get to everything within a few minutes of driving.

We had booked a different house for Mardi Gras then received notice that the house had been sold. Janis contacted us and offered this home. We booked the original house because we needed a garage for our decorated golf cart and Janis wanted us know she had another home with a garage. We booked immediately and are so glad that we did! Janis is an excellent host - very responsive, proactive, immediate responses. The house is the cleanest house we have ever rented. Comfortable beds and lots of towels, extra blankets, fully stocked kitchen. Even several notes left and a lovely bottle of wine. We will stay in this house again and again.

The home was extremely nice and clean. Everything that we needed (towels, seasonings, charcoal, cleaning supplies, etc.) was abundantly available. Would love to visit again and was definitely worth the price.

This was our favourite nights stay of our (so far) 9 nights in Texas. The cabin was perfect. It was amazing. We chilled outside on the front porch for hours. The gardens were beautiful. Cabin was spotless and so cosy. Loved the grounds with the old western buildings, made for some great photos. Michael was so so helpful and responded to my messages immediately. The breakfast was the nicest we’ve had since we arrived in Texas. Cannot thank you enough for the most perfect honeymoon night in Texas. If we were local we would defo be back!!
