We had an amazing one night stay after getting in on a late flight to SJO. It was so close to the airport and felt like an oasis in the city. It was a great value for our money. We loved our stay and would definitely book again!

Just like many of the reviews listed this place was amazing! Spacious, very clean, and responsive host. As all others have said Jefferson and his mother were amazing. Great food and great responses from Jefferson. Everything we needed was right there. We like to keep our places clean but they made the extra effort to make sure we had everything we needed! 15 minute drive from the house to the town but that was understood. If you want privacy and solitude there is no better place we did one day in Manuel Antonio and still don’t understand why more people don’t stay in Playa Palo Seco. Amazing location with the most beautiful sunsets we’ve ever seen. Can’t say enough about this Airbnb. Nothing negative at all. Tip: Respect the ocean. The tides are scary of course but you need to do your research and keep your little ones close!

Es una muy hermosa casa, se encuentra en un sitio ultra accesible y cómodo. Rocio es muy amable y la comunicación con ella era rápida y accesible. Uno de los airbnbs que mas recomendaria.

Conventionally located to the airport and mall. made for a great spot to regroup back in town before heading home. Jarol was very responsive and very nice!

We are blown away by the hospitality of Ursula and her husband, Erick. The home and property are beautiful and are in a safe, quiet, gated community. We also enjoyed seeing Guadi, the pet peacock. He was not bothersome at all and the chirping birds native to the area were so beautiful to hear each morning. What especially blew us away was Ursula’s husband , who actually spent the day taking us around the area of Sarchi. He gave us some history of Costa Rica, and took us to a bunch of small shopping areas/factories that create much of the art pieces seen around the area, which are a great part of the countries culture, history, and goods you will see in all the souvenir/tourist areas. Such a great experience and what a lovely person he was. The only bit of advice I will offer is to make sure you look over the house manual because Ursula offers a lot of good information that we wish we had took the time to review our first evening at the house, prior to attempting to order uber eats

Pictures don’t do it justice. What a beautiful view, home, and garden. We wished we had stayed here the entire trip.

If you are looking for a DREAM property and an ABSOLUTELY fantastic host...this is it! Angie goes above and beyond to make your stay in her house and her community an experience of a lifetime! I told her she is the "superist" of all Superhosts! (and I'm one myself) Angie was gracious, kind, and so very helpful as this was our first trip to Costa Rica. Not only did she share her lovely property with us, but she also provided such wonderful guidance in creating such a wonderful trip. Our family made amazing memories and felt immersed in the best of Costa Rica. If you get the chance to stay here, you should definitely take it! The house and view are spectacular, and the land it sits on is stunning, complete with a beautiful waterfall. The only thing we were sad about was that we never saw a sloth. I guess its a good excuse to come back!

Great building in a very modern area of San Jose steps away from all the action. Host is very friendly and always very responsive for whatever you may need. Definitely recommend.

Mariana’s was exactly what we were looking for - a place to base ourselves while we explored San Jose. Mariana was very responsive to questions and we really enjoyed the gym and pool to help our recovery from a long red-eye flight.

I don’t normally write reviews but I felt this Airbnb deserved it. It’s a little away from the touristy areas which was really nice and you feel very connected with nature here. The property is stunning and the pool is very well maintained. I recommend the tour of the farm that David offers. He’s very knowledgeable and there wasn’t a question he couldn’t answer. Also, the monkeys that visit regularly kept my family very entertained. David went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. He even went out of his way to try and comfort my son after he had a little scare from a cicada (harmless bug). An overall amazing experience here, 12 stars

Manuel and Melanie are the best! Thank you! Your property is so beautiful and the house had all the things we needed. The pool is great and the Internet was fast and trustworthy. Special shout out to Jackson (who does the caretaking), he is a really great guy. He is so helpful and kind and helped us feel right at home. Thanks y'all!

The house was the perfect place to stay while visiting Manuel Antonio national park, away from the crowds, but not far to drive. We absolutely loved the view from the deck, we saw so many birds, toucans and hummingbirds. A group of monkeys visited the property, too, just amazing. The pool was very nice and clean. Jerome was very helpful and responsive.

Great area. Nice cozy little place to stay for a night or two

Very nice place. It is huge and very beautiful. Two floors with beautiful views and a nice outside area to enjoy the smells of the many flowers and trees. Definitely steep driving there, everyone says this and it's a little challenging but doable. Uber eats was afraid to deliver there. We will definitely return. My best advice though is buy everything you need in town before going up there, it will make things more comfortable. Great appliances in the kitchen so storing food is no problem.

It’s hard to sum up my feelings about this place. It was so special and wonderful. It’s hard to describe. I also hesitate about giving it so much praise because I worry that next time I want to book it it’ll be full! The place was perfect. It was right on a private beach at the end of a private road. The water was a perfect temperature. The sand was soft. The ground Keeper was so friendly and very helpful. He was very kind to my kids and we felt right at home! Also a huge added bonus were his dogs. My kids miss our dogs when we travel and they were thrilled to find dogs here waiting for us when we arrived. There were limitless activities for us to do. We could lay around on the beach or swim in the pool or do excursions that were close by. This part of Costa Rica is extremely beautiful! I would stay in a place like this over a resort any day.

We loved our stay at Roberto’s place. A peaceful chalet in the mountains. We could hear quetzals in the morning, enjoy the warmth of the fireplace in the evenings. Roberto was also very helpful and so were the people that are taking care of the hosts and of the property : they were really friendly and helpful. They came in the evening to prepare an additional bed, and in the morning to cut some wood for us and provided fishing materials to fish a trout in the nearby pound. Thanks again for the lovely stay we will definitely recommend your place to our friends.

As a host myself, I can tell you that you will not find a more responsive Host then Fernando As he lives next door So with Couple issues I've had He was very quick to respond And do fix the situation. So I am confident that he will be a great host And I recommend the place if you have any business to do around there as it is a quiet spot and there's a swimming pool 50 ft in front of The door. best of luck Fernando keep up the good work

Our four-night stay over the New Year’s Eve holiday at Volare was nothing short of magical! It was the perfect setting for our family to come together and celebrate the start of a new year. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how peaceful and beautiful the home was. The natural light pouring through the windows made the entire house feel warm and inviting, and we couldn’t get enough of the stunning views—especially the clouds and the birds that graced the sky each morning. Tucker was a fantastic host, always available and ready to help with anything we needed. It was clear that she cares deeply about the space and her guests. Yamilet, the property manager, was so friendly and helpful. Everything was spotless and felt like a true retreat. This was the perfect escape for our family to relax, reconnect, and enjoy the holiday. We can’t recommend it enough. Whether you’re looking to unwind or explore, this home is an absolute gem. We can’t wait to return!

Such a cozy mountain stay! The whole town is magical and this cabin was the perfect place to stay to soak in the magic of Dota. We loved the king-size heated bed, the fairy lights, and the hot showers. Such a wonderful home to come back to after hiking adventures and such a cozy place to hunker down when it’s rainy outside. Would love to stay here again!
