We had an amazing stay at Steve and Veronica’s place. The apartment is very large and sprawling over four levels such that you almost feel like you have multiple places you’re staying in. The decor is really nice, the kitchen was particularly gorgeous, the views are amazing and the beds and pillows super comfy. The space was extremely clean and a cleaner even came several times while we were there to tidy up. Communication with Steve and Veronica and their caretaker Sergio was excellent. yes, it is a bit of a steep walk if you were returning home that way, but that did not bother us as it’s a nice post meal walk and also a very easy quick cab ride if you want to opt for that. A wonderful value all around and some local friends who stopped by couldn’t believe what a great place it was either. Thank you, Steve, Veronica, and Sergio!

There are so many beautiful rooms inside and out. The location is very walkable to shopping and dining but so quiet. We were overwhelmed by the beauty and the size of this villa. Our happiest moments were peaceful sleep, the rooftop and outdoor seating and the fabulous cook/housekeeper, Hilda. She was a delight.

Location, location could not be better. It was just a few blocks away from the center of the historic district, a few blocks away from the lovely Parque Benito Juarez, multiple restaurants and a small organic food store I found very convenient. The interior of the house was charming. The outdoor courtyard divided two separate areas, which made it more private and separated the bedrooms. The home is traditional, therefore the back rooms have very little natural light and kitchen area could use a bit more light, especially above the sink. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable and quiet. The homeowner Teresa, was quick to respond to my messages and was very helpful. The housekeeper came three mornings a week and was very kind (only speaks Spanish) and kept the home in good shape. I would highly recommend renting the house. Finishings and decor has not had a lot of attention, but I actually felt more relaxed and it did not feel sterile. Nice roof deck, but could use comfy seating.

This is a beautiful home with lots of room for everyone in our group. The rooftop area was the best with a 360 degree view of the San Miguel…I would venture it has one of the best views in the city.

This is a lovely venue with great common spaces, comfortable rooms, full kitchen, excellent roof-deck (where we spent mornings and evenings) and wonderful art. One is immediately immersed in the San Miguel de Allende experience (including the popular bar El Manantial down a block), and breakfasts prepared by Margarita and Julia were a relaxed way to start our very full days. For us, the cobblestoned hillside location provided much need exercise to offset all of our eating/drinking indulgences. We loved it.

The place was absolutely stunning, the home was full of historic culture and there was lots to appreciate when being in the home. There was something for everyone and plenty of room for everyone to feel right at home. Walking distance was ideal as you step outside and walk for 1 minutes and you're already in front of a park an church with lots to explore. The parking was a bit tricky but the ladies at the home were helpful. Our family loved it and will be returning for future stays.

Our trip to SMDA was truly magical. From the moment we booked Casita Agua, Hadley reached out offering recommendations and to make reservations for us. We were truly blown away by her kindness, attention to detail, and genuine desire to help make our stay truly memorable. She, her staff, and the property exceeded our expectations and we were sad to depart. What a truly special property and host. We will be reminiscing about this trip for years to come!

Excelente host y muy buen lugar para quedarse, nos sentimos como en casa, todo muy comodo y ameno

Un departamento muy bonito, cómodo y con todas las amenidades para pasar un gran viaje familiar o entre amigos, las camas están muy bien, tiene muchas toallas y cobijas y la cocina bien equipada, además de un balcón con todo para pasar la tarde. El único detalle es que se escuchan mucho los ruidos del departamento de arriba, pero nada que no se pueda tolerar. El residencial también está muy a gusto, la alberca es mediana, pero creo que no tiene calefacción.

This place was absolutely wonderful! My husband and I stayed in the loft room on a last minute trip. The girls at the front desk were so sweet and helpful!! They made recommendations for activities and made arrangements for an English speaking wine and cheese tour for us. They also helped coordinate a taxi when we needed it. The room was so clean and comfortable. The area itself was safe and convenient to the historic city center, which we loved! We didn’t want to leave! We will absolutely be back and cannot recommend this place enough!!

La habitación es muy cómoda, Roberto es muy servicial en todo momento. De verdad que vale la pena hospedarse con el ya sea visita express o larga estadia.

Great place to stay all around! Clean, comfy bed, centrally located and easy check-in. Would recommend!

Deana and Dennis are a special kind of host. You feel like you are staying at the home of your longtime friends. They are so warm and welcoming and their home is beyond beautiful. I loved the location. Outside of town but still close. You do need a car or a driver and there is no cell service at or around the property but once you get to the house you’ll have Starlink available. We stayed at multiple Airbnbs in town and this was my favorite.

El depa de Antonio esta increiblemente bien decorado, con muy buen gusto y todo impecable. Siempre fueron amables, aydaron en todo momento a hacer la estancia muy garadable, hasta con regalos locales salimos. Antonio siempre esta ahi para resolver y ayudar, desde el dasayuno hasta detalles como poner aguitas de noche y chocolates, siempre presentes pero respetando la privacidad de las 2 plantas superiores donde disfrutamos mucho... Sin duda regresaría a casa Amarte

Casa Frida is a wonderful place to stay. Guillermo and his staff were excellent, attentive hosts. Daily breakfast was delicious. The setting is very beautiful and peaceful with incredible scenic views of San Miguel and the surrounding countryside. I highly recommend staying here as a perfect way to have a quintessential San Miguel experience. You will not be disappointed!

Casa Matia was wonderful. I was in Room 1 and it was perfect for what I was hoping for. Absolutely clean, great shower and bathroom. The bed was firm and super comfortable. Nice linens and pillows. There was a very ample terrace and since is was on the second story level had a great view of the well manicured gardens that as described had an abundance of fruit trees and flowering plantings. There are 4 units. When I was there I met a delightful couple that were from Michigan. They were very happy there and staying for 6 weeks. There is a common kitchen which is available for guests to prepare their own meals if they so desired that was well equipped.The owners were there on a daily basis making constant improvements. Painting, trimming, directing the two lady staffers that were very sweet and helpful. They do provide a very continental breakfast of cereal, toast and fresh fruit along with fresh brewed coffee. Set a nice table that is welcoming. Provide space in refrigerators. Fabulous!

Nosotros visitamos Airbnb cuando lo que queremos es sentirnos en casa… y Martha desde el primer minuto nos hizo sentir llegábamos al hogar de un familiar muy querido que siempre que vas te recibe con el gusto del mundo y con los brazos abiertos. Un buen café por la mañana, un sentimiento cozy y acogedor, buena platica, perros amorosos, comida rica, una vista irreal, visitar Zenzontle es llegar a un lugar lleno de paz y tranquilidad que nos hizo sentir que ya queríamos regresar aún cuando seguíamos ahí, fue toda una experiencia. Recomendamos ampliamente este lugar si lo que tú buscas es salir de la rutina para conectarte, si buscas llegar a un lugar lleno de amor y paz. Su ubicación es un 10/10 está en el corazón de San Miguel, en un lugar tranquilo y calmado donde veras miles de estrellas y escucharas la naturaleza en su expresión, pero al mismo tiempo estás a 10 min del centro y de las áreas turísticas. Superó nuestras expectativas, contamos los días para regresar.
