Für Reisende, die gerne etwas abseits von den grossen Touristen Orten unternehmen wollen. Das Dorf ist extrem ursprünglich und man ist der ei zige Tourist dort. Die Anwohner sind aber sehr freundlich. Mit den Kindern auf den Strassen spielen oder Karaoke Abend, man wird mit den Locals in Kontakt kommen müssen! Es hat kaum Internet, man wird sich also wirklich zurückziehen. Der Strand ist wunderschön und die Bootstour mit Jojo kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen. Er ist ein super mensch und kocht ausserdem sehr gut! Die Hosts sind äusserst lieb und haben uns mit offenen Armen empfangen. Angereist sind wir von Port Barton mit Bus nach el Nido, dann bei Abongan aussteigen. Dort wird man für 2000PHP abgeholt. Weitergereist sind wir für 400PHP mit einem Bus richtunf el Nido. Einzige kleine Beschwerde: es hat kein Mosquito Netz und das bekommt man in der Nacht zu spüren. Vielleicht können sie noch eins installieren. Preis etwas zu hoch, aber die Leute dort machen den Aufenthalt unvergesslich!

This was my second time booking Sir Fritz's place and if you're an adventure seeker and want a private getaway, away from the busy tourist areas this is highly recommend. It's a peaceful beach with calm waters, perfect for a group of friends or family who want to chill and not think about the world. For your peace of mind MAKE SURE to rent a truck or vehicle that's geared towards off-roading. It's an adventurous drive but worth it when you get there!

Gilligans house is even better in real life than the vibrant pictures on the web site. The location is stunning with sandy beaches with backdrop of rain Forrest as far as the eye can see. The sand is so fine and clean and when paired with the warm waters of the South China Seas the result is stunning. The staff are attentive and produce food on demand of the highest quality. I can highly recommend the pancakes made freshly for breakfast. The choice though is extensive from local cuisine to well known European favourites. The communication with the company was excellent. From organising a Birthday party to solving some logistics issues Erica, Grace and Mitch were always there and dealt with everything promptly and efficiently. We would definitely return to Gilligans Beach.

This place is the perfect place to be at home in the province for everyone who loves nature, and doesn’t mind what nature brings (mosquitoes, ants and spiders). The caretakers were very accommodating and friendly. There was a power outage when we arrived, but we still managed to make it work with their help. They also helped us to find a discounted option for private island hopping and snorkeling which was an absolutely superb experience. We found many good restaurants, authentic souvenirs and jewelry with locally harvested pearls.

Bien accueillis dans un logement propre et bien équipé, confortable et spacieux Vous vous y sentirez comme chez vous Quartier calme animé par les rires des enfants mais aussi par les coqs (mais ça c’est partout aux philippines) Tout ce qui faut se trouve à quelques dizaines de mètres (commerces restaurants, plage) Le tout avec le sourire et la bienveillance de Jess qui s’occupe du logement Que demander de plus à Port-Barton où le temps ralentit pour mieux vous apaiser l’âme.

It is a very unique and special place. Far away from everything surrounded by nature, a beautiful beach at your doorstep and calmness. They can organise a boat tour for you to small magical islands for snorkelling and swimming. Everyone at the place is super friendly and easygoing and the chef takes good care of you. This place is highly recommended if you want to escape the crowds and enjoy tranquility. The only downside is the journey to get to Binga Beach (though this of course adds to it’s magic and the journey is an adventure in itself the hosts). David will definitely help you out to arrange transportation. Thank you for this lovely stay!

The surroundings are simply unbeatable. I’m writing this review from downtown El Nido—an overrated construction site set in a beautiful bay. Compared to what we experienced at New Canipo Beach, I truly wish we had never left. At New Canipo, we had an entire estate and beach all to ourselves. While the houses show some signs of wear, their simplicity only adds to their charm. We loved the verandah, the coconut trees, and the endless vistas. The hospitality of the team was exceptional—they cooked for us and ran errands with such warmth and efficiency. The house itself felt like the work of an architect with a sailor’s heart: elegant quai switches, rope pulley mechanisms, free paddle boats—it all added to the experience. They even brought the WiFi router to our verandah, so we could stay connected while doing absolutely nothing— lazing around sipping cocktails. Fritz organized our transportation, and everything ran like clockwork. If you’re looking for peace and beauty, that's the place!

Endroit paisible, proche nature, plage déserte juste en face, pour admirer les couchers de soleil ou marcher, bungalow tente rustique mais efficace, restaurant sur place, plats locaux, mais le plus de cet endroit, une journée privée en bateau pour snorkelling et déjeuner feu de bois sur une plage idyllique appelée « emergency beach »… oui effectivement il y a urgence de vivre cet unique moment impossible à vivre ni à Port Barton, encore moins à El Nido et même si vous payez un hopping tour privé … là vous serez seuls au monde et ça vaut de l’or. Merci à Phil, David et son équipe, on a passé de très beaux moments.

We were so happy to have stumbled on Babaland and decided to stay for five days Incredibly peaceful and only a short drive on empty roads to town where there is a great market for fresh fish, poultry, pork and vegetables We utilized the outdoor kitchen daily for our meals and the activity became one of many highlights throughout our stay Minda and the team were nothing short of fantastic!! Franz le gestionnaire à distance est très réactif et clair. David notre contact sur place, est adorable, serviable, et très arrangeant. L’équipe a organisé notre arrivé et notre départ car il faut savoir que si vous ne louez pas de voiture, vous allez prendre un bus partagé pour arrivé jusqu’à l’arrêt le plus proche. Et ensuite vous allez prendre un 2e transport jusqu’à Binga beach. Les 2 sont payants et à votre charge. Concernant le logement il est conforme aux photos et à la description. La nourriture est excellente, nous avons très très bien mangé. Le prix est très correcte surtout au vu de la qualité des mets. Tout est cuisiné sur place, à la demande avec des produits locaux. Le lieu est incroyable, paisible et calme. La plage est magnifique. Nous étions seul au monde. Elle se mérite mais le trajet en vaut la peine ! Nous avons choisi d’y rester 3jours pour nous détendre avant de monter à El nido, nous regrettons de ne pas y être resté une 4e nuits.

Minda, thank you SO MUCH for your hospitality! the hut was sooo neat, nice and clean, and Minda also helped as with transfer and even found the guide for as to visit local waterfalls! it’s one of the best BnBs i’ve ever been to.
