One of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Absolutely breathtakingly gorgeous surroundings. The clean pool overlooking the mountains was an amazing thing to wake up to and go to bed to. Sunrises and sunsets. Tubac just a minute away. Cute little quarters were all I needed. Perfectly simple and clean and inviting. I couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful and rejuvenating stay. Cory was incredibly responsive. I accidentally locked myself out and he was there in two minutes, and gracious in every way. I had never even heard of Tubac before I came… I will certainly be back.

This was the perfect Airbnb for us! It was a peaceful, magical retreat in the Arizona desert - far from the madding crowd. We loved the patio with adobe fireplace overlooking the desert. John was a great host. He built the fire for us every night! The house was comfortable and well-appointed complete with kitchen. It was nicely decorated in southwest style. The bedroom was rather cramped but comfortable being the only downfall in the whole experience - completely outweighed by all else. We got to know John and had some good conversation- his wife was away during our stay. He is a very interesting and talented man who built the entire complex including his own beautiful southwestern style adobe house with his own hands. We had a wonderful time staying there during the Tubac Festival of Arts and would love to return.

We spent two days in this tranquil corner of paradise in early March. The name Birdsong lives up to the expectation. The retreat is in a quiet yet cozy location, easily accessible from Nogales, Arizona. The Kestrel cottage is unassuming from the outside, but the inside is very tastefully decorated, comfortable, cozy, and well equipped, and stocked. The retreat has a pool and an infinity jacuzzi overlooking the desert. We loved to sit outside and watch the sunrise over the Arizona mountains with a cup of coffee in hand and at sunset we were sitting on the opposite side, armchairs and watch the sunset, stunning views, exceptional bird life, and great relaxation. A very good value in our mind. We will be back, thanks for having us.

Andres' "cabin" in Rio Rico was exactly what we were looking for- a birder's paradise!! The setting and views (from patio, windows) were gorgeous and perfect for birding adventures. Rio Rico is exactly half way (just 30 min) from Madera Canyon to the north and Patagonia to the southeast (with multiple great hotspots along hwy 19 and the San Rafael Valley grasslands just a fit further southeast). On mornings and late afternoons when we relaxed on the patio we saw multiple types of hummingbirds coming to the feeders, along with canyon towhees, a road runner, rock wrens, bewick's wrens, verdin, Chihuahuan ravens, and red-tailed hawks). Kitchen well set up for actual cooking on our stay-in evenings, and great food very close by (La Bocanita and the food truck Los Vaqueros along the frontage road in Rio Rico). Very comfortable living and sleeping spaces.

Great stay! The home was super cute and in a great location close to the shops in Tubac. It was so nice to have coffee on the front porch in the morning and be able to walk to the golf course. Home was cozy and full of wonderful touches in the kitchen and bath. Plenty of clean linens. It was a wonderful stay for the two of us and our dog.

I stayed here with a few of my bridesmaids before my wedding at Los Milics winery last weekend. This place was lovely and perfectly located to the vineyard. The host was very clear with instructions on how to get to the Airbnb and how to use the lockbox. Highly recommend. :)

Don’t follow google maps! Unfortunately I did not see the directions in the booking information and we had trouble finding the home. We contacted Todd and he responded quickly! Once we got there we were amazed at the views. Having coffee on the patio in the morning watching the sunrise come over the mountains was pure relaxation therapy. The quietness and the morning light changing the colors on the mountains was so serene. We enjoyed going into Patagonia for dinner and meeting the locals. If we ever get back to this area, we will definitely stay at Todd’s.

We loved our stay in the Bird Lover's Casita! A lot of thought and care has gone into the design of the property and landscape to attract birds and wildlife, from plantings to water features and well-stocked feeders. There are pathways and several outdoor seating areas that are also pleasant to visit. We enjoyed birdwatching from the house and property as well as in the many nearby preserves, parks and trails. The host is gracious and friendly and made our stay very special. We would love to return!

What a wonderful experience we had staying here. It’s a lovely and comfortable tiny home with all the amenities that you could need for two. Mike is an amazing host. So kind and helpful. The fresh eggs were delicious. We enjoyed the views and having a fire. Be really careful with the gate and follow the clear instructions that are provided. For some unknown reason I thought there was a first and second gate, so I pushed the gate before I realized it and jammed it. Mike was incredibly nice and understanding, but don’t be me. Check out the pictures they provide carefully. It’s super easy once you see the code box. Really great stay!
