One of my favourite airbnbs of all time! Location absolutely makes it, host is incredibly kind and responsive, and the bed is COMFORTABLE!! So cozy, and soft! They’ve taken proper care of all the things that truely matter to make someone feel at home. A+++ stay!

Private and peaceful spot and about the best tub/shower combo I’ve ever had in an air bnb. A perfect retreat.

This is an aged cottage. It was a little cold and checking in at night takes a bit of patience. However Keith is a great host, communicates well, and I will book again on my business trips.

My girlfriend and I were so lucky that this magical stay opened up a week out from our weekend getaway plans. Given Kitty and Michael’s long history with Airbnb, their place holds such a unique history and connection to all the previous guests. The area is secluded and offers a remote (but close to the city) and peaceful getaway. We were lucky enough to see the most amount of stars we’ve seen in a sky before. As for the mushroom dome. It’s exactly how it’s pictured and provided such a cozy experience for our couple of nights. Do yourself a favor and stay here if you’re looking in the area - truly a once-in-lifetime experience.

We loved staying at Toni’s place! It was walking distance to dining and the beach. Toni was a great host who regularly checked in to make sure everything was okay. We’d stay here again!

I really enjoyed staying here. The attention to detail was appreciated. I liked the artwork and small interesting sculptures. The place was very clean. The bed and blackout curtains made sleeping restful. Kendra was a friendly and considerate host. I would recommend this unique Casita to my friends and family.

This was my first time booking an Air Bnb and it went perfectly! The place was located on top of a hill and has really amazing views. The place is so peaceful and beautiful, very relaxing. Perfect for me and my best friend to stay the week. I lovveddd the Dutch oven. The water pressure was really nice. The pool and hot tub were sooo nice. When we arrived their dog Lucy greeted us, and throughout the trip about 3 cats greeted us at the front door. We are animal lovers so it’s no problem and made the trip even better. Quiet time is 9:30 which I wish could’ve been later but there wasn’t any issues. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. While exploring the town we noticed everyone is super friendly, and there were some spots I’d love to come back to. If you’re looking for a really good burger and milkshake visit Fat Boys Burger. I would definitely come back again.

My experience at Tera’s cabin was wonderful! I’m so glad I picked this location for my short retreat from Campbell. Everything in the Airbnb is curated and very thoughtful. I especially appreciated the fresh eggs from their own chickens & the parking pass for Henry Cowell state park a few minutes away. I was worried about being warm but I was plenty warm. I’m also happy to report that I didn’t see any bugs inside and that the Airbnb was sparkling clean. Tera is also a very gracious host and provided insight into what to do in the area. Her local guidebook is so helpful and her recommendation for the Roaring Camp train was awesome! I can see why this cabin is in the top 1% of listings on Airbnb as it’s truly remarkable. I hope to be back soon & I’ve already told my friends and family they need to book here!

Lara and Emkay have created a beautiful stay. Not too far from the city; but a beautiful escape. They reached out often and made sure we had everything we needed. They were so kind and generous. Looking forward to our next stay!

Our stay here was beautiful and serene. It was even more beautiful than the listing pictures. The hot tubs and heated floors felt very luxurious and made the stay truly feel like a vacation. We explored Santa Cruz and Monterey and it was a perfect middle point to stay in. We would recommend to anyone, especially couples for a romantic getaway. 🤍

What a wonderful stay! We loved feeling so far away even though we were so close to town and the coast. In proper winter fashion, we stayed cozy and cooked hearty meals. Any cooking improvisational moves we needed to make, Patricia was there to help us out. The persimmons, the fairy lights in the rain, the chatty chickens—it all lent to a beautiful stay. I had a great time staying here while visiting Monterey, Carmel by the Sea, the Big Sur, and Napa. The location was a great in the middle spot that also gave me the opportunity to explore Soquel and Capitola. Very charming small towns that I would have never known about if I didn’t stay here. The property was gorgeous! My pup loved it too! Sarah was very attentive and I would highly recommend her property.

It was a genuine pleasure to meet Bear Haus! Really a lovely person! The two “haus me” homes (MicroHaus Pro and the M1 Pro) that we stayed in are exceptional in every sense of the word! I can’t wait to go back!

This cottage is a true gem - perfect for that peaceful and serene getaway! The ocean views are breathtaking all day long, but especially at sunset. You access the beach or walk the "loop" from Hidden Beach to General Clement Harts or Seaview Trail (referencing Google Map names) or the other way around - both are about a 10min walk from the house, and the full loop walk is approx. 1hr. You can also get to Sanderlings Restaurant (at Seascape Resort) by walking on the beach (from Hidden Beach turn left) and it's about a 30min walk. Perfect for lunch! Or you can walk to Venus Kitchen or Pixie Deli (from the Seaview Trail) and that's about a 40min walk. The beach and the neighborhood are extremely dog friendly - our dog was in heaven! Katcha and Rich (onsite) were very responsive and took care of everything to ensure that our stay was comfortable! The cottage has everything you need - you will not go wrong staying here - we're already looking for our next visit to Aptos!!

This is one of the best Airbnbs I have stayed in. I've stayed at airbnbs in New York, Costa Rica, Mexico… and this was the refuge I am always try to find. Right in the middle of the city! Michelle is such a gracious host, so thoughtful and the place is so welcoming. She checked on me to make sure I was comfortable. She even brought me a lemon for my tea! Oh, and it was fully stocked with towels, all kitchen needs and lovely linens. The place is beyond amazing. Great place, great queen bed with a view of the garden and the vineyard; it’s even better than the pictures. What more could you want?

Maya and Manose's place is incredibly charming. It felt like living in a story tale - the perfect cabin in the woods. The views from the decks are stunning, as is the redwood forest, all around and beneath the cabin. I am a writer and visited as a writing getaway, to find peace and inspiration, and it worked! Maya and Manose are both very friendly, responsive, the perfect hosts, checking in on me regularly seeing as I was traveling alone. I can't wait to be back, and next time with my family. Thank you for an unforgettable stay.

Marc was a lovely host. Wonderful stories, beautiful property, authentic hospitality, and delicious home-cooked breakfast with generous heaps of fresh berries and fresh squeezed juice. The property was not only unique and enchanting, but small touches like fresh flowers in every room made elevated the experience. Highly recommend taking Marc up on his offer to borrow a kayak to check out the Slough to Moss Landing. Many cute otter sightings are in store for you.

we enjoyed our one night stay at La Casita! it was very cozy and very beautiful views. I enjoyed using the little trail that went around the property. we also enjoyed sitting in the chairs outside enjoying coffee provided. it felt very private. the description was accurate. I was a little overconfident about getting into the bed in the loft so be mindful of that. climbing up the ladder to the bed was slightly challenging but it was comfortable. we would definitely stay there again. the host was very responsive and helpful.
