Such a beautiful property & the villa has everything you need to relax and unwind in the jungle. The caretakers Eli & Andrew are amazing, so kind! Just down the road from big rock falls, really enjoyed our stay

We really can’t say enough about this wonderful AirBnB experience - and really, you should consider it an experience vs. simply a place to stay. The hospitality, service and wonderful cuisine served by Elias and Betty at this home are absolutely key elements in shaping your stay here in San Ignacio. This is not something we are generally used to in an AirBnB, though we have stayed at many in many different countries. That said - we truly appreciated Kelly’s description of her home and the fact that she set the clear expectation that you should come prepared for Elias and team to cook and serve your meals. That allowed us to embrace the idea (we usually cook for ourselves and our four children, three of whom were with us this trip!) and really enjoy it. The home itself is stunning, situated on the most beautiful and well kept land. We loved sitting on the porch, watching all of the birds, and spending afternoons in the pool after adventuring it the caves. We would absolutely come back!

Communication was above and beyond awesome. The place looks even better than the pictures. Felt very comfortable staying here. The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking. The pool was refreshing!! The outdoor space is gorgeous. Highly recommend. Location was great. Some amazing spots like Big Rock Waterfall and Mayan Ruins were nearby.

Great property with lovely views - it is indoor /outdoor living and we spent a lot of time outside on the covered rooftop area. That’s where we made simple breakfasts and generally hung out until bedtime. It rained on our last evening - and we spent that in the room. Strong reco for Caracol - the host arranged that trip for us. Also, we had a car and so moving around was not an issue. Finally, having daily housekeeping was a treat! Note - the lovely hosts have dogs and we did occasionally pass them. Just something to be aware of if you are really not a dog person.

Chill Reservation is a great place to stay! If you want isolation in the middle of the woods and still feel home with all the technology in the world this is the place! Need a 4x 4 vehicle to go on steep roads. This place is phenomenal! With private pool, you can unwind with all the forest friends! Birds lizards etc. They have washing machine as well so no worries if you have dirty clothes. The welcome fruit basket was also greatly appreciated👍! We will be back again!

Casa Hill View is a truly special place and we were very sad to leave. It is a bird watcher's paradise. We even saw toucans in the back garden. We stayed here without renting a car, which is completely doable. As well as visiting Caracol and the Rio On, we would highly recommend a visit to the Green Hills Butterfly Ranch. Just do it. Don’t think twice and just book this airbnb! Trust me, you’ll thank me later. Marcela is an angel sent from up above and you will not find another host kinder than she is. The place and the setting are as beautiful as she is, you will feel like you are in a fairy tale. Marcela was very accommodating, she let us use her bbq to make some burgers! I literally cannot recommend this airbnb enough, but trust me when I say you will not regret booking with Marcela. Do not miss out on this amazing opportunity!! The land she owns is beyond breathtaking and everyone around her are amazing souls. You will eat the best food, have the best company, enjoy the best views and have the most helpful host you can think of. BOOK IT!!

For the price of the stay... it's a no brainer. thoroughly enjoyed our time staying at Terry's Place. Terry went above and beyond in terms of being a host: providing clean water for us to drink, providing a booklet with activities to do and contact information for local drivers and taxis, among many other things. This place looks better than the pictures somehow. Absolutely incredible value, and Terry is an amazing host!
