Très beau logement, bien équipé. Bel environnement en pleine nature. Attention, des logements de vacances sont en construction aux alentours, occasionnant quelques nuisance sonores mais ça ne devrait pas durer. Hôte pas très réactif dans les échanges mais répond toujours aux messages au final. Je recommande.

It's right what the reviews say, they don't do it justice! I felt like I was in British Colombia in Canada, it was really beautiful. I can only imagine in the peak season and much warmer it would have been even better. In mid-November we were still able to use the pool and the water was even warmer in the lake. The 3 of us took the canoe out, life jackets provided and a paddle each, and head off around the lake and explored the islands and shores. The apartment is old but comfortable and everything you need for a great holiday. The balcony views and sunsets are so beautiful. We did a big shop from LIDL and just picked up bread and other bits from the local town. Nice cafes and places for a coffee. We were so calm and happy there though we could have stayed forever!!! Jealous of the owners. Kids would love it, especially ones a little older that can play alone, they would love to venture down to the lake and jump in! We are already planning a return for the summer time next year.

Numa localização privilegiada, o espaço está super bem cuidado e preparado para receber os hospedes. A casa é super cómoda e limpa, o ar condicionada permite um conforto extra e as divisões são espaçosas e muito bem aproveitadas. Dos melhores locais onde já estive!

Local paradisíaco. Vista desafogada sem fim. Casa espectacular, limpa e com a cozinha bastante bem equipada. A jangada é 5 estrelas.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux week-end dans cette maison à Dornes. Elle a un charme fou, fidèle en tout point à l’annonce. Située au bord d’une rivière paisible qui ressemble presque à un lac, le paysage est tout simplement magnifique et apaisant. La maison était parfaitement adaptée à notre groupe, confortable et très bien équipée. Claudio, notre hôte, a été d’une grande réactivité et d’une disponibilité exemplaire, ce qui a vraiment facilité notre séjour. Le village de Dornes est également plein de charme. Bref, un vrai petit coin de paradis que nous recommandons les yeux fermés !

Great place and location. The hill to get up is very steep, make sure to get some speed when going up. We would definitely come back. Overall loved it

Our group of 13 had an incredible time at this lakeside house! The accommodations were super comfortable, providing ample space for all of us. The highlight was definitely the fantastic outdoor area, perfect for group gatherings and relaxation. Nuno, the host, was outstanding. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. We took advantage of the boat rental for water sports like skiing, wakeboarding, and wakesurfing, and it was an absolute blast. Nuno's expertise and equipment made it all possible, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you're looking for a lakeside retreat with a fantastic host and plenty of fun activities, this is the place to be. Our group had a fantastic time, and we can't wait to come back for more adventures by the lake!

notre séjour chez Erica était superbe la maison est très bien, très propre, les lits très confortable. Erica est très gentille souriante et disponible elle donne plein de conseils que nous avons fait. nous recommandons la maison. nous avons un très bon souvenir c'était super !

Great stay with friends! Super quiet location. Charming, warm and comfortable house in a wonderful setting. Extremely friendly host, made us feel at home and was super responsive with any request we had.

Rita was a fabulous host and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The breakfast supplies were a welcome addition and nice fresh produce. The property is lovely and about a 10min walk to the centre of town. It feels remote when you are onsite as it is on a large piece of land and has a lovely view over the countryside but is central and not too far to amenities We visited Tomar for a family wedding and as part of a large family group so stayed in two of the three self contained holiday let's. We were able to Socialise around the communal pool and in the the grounds which has various seating areas which made this a perfect base for us. I would highly recommend.

Um espaço super calmo, tranquilo. Com a melhor vista para a barragem de Montargil e com uma piscina com vista infinita maravilhosa.

Experiência espetacular! Desde o momento da reserva ao ato de check-out, a Sra. Sónia e o Sr. Rui foram impecáveis connosco. Sempre muito atenciosos e responsivos a todas as questões que tínhamos. A casa, em si, é espetacular e corresponde à descrição efetuada/às fotografias. Ficámos super contentes com a escolha e com as condições. A localização do condomínio é muito boa. Está num sítio é calmo e a 20 min. dos grandes hipermercados. A vizinhança é super simpática, e o acesso à piscina é definitivamente um bónus. Tudo isto culminou numa ótima semana de férias! Definitivamente uma experiência a repetir. Recomendo bastante a casa da Sra. Sónia e do Sr. Rui a quem quiser visitar Tomar e/ou fazer umas férias relaxantes, longe do caos da cidade!

Casa do Varatojo is a tranquil and healing location in a small town, offering warmth and hospitality beginning with Sara and her family, and continuing throughout the surrounding communities. I've lived in Portugal for three years in the southern part of the country, and was so impressed at how uncommonly welcoming and accepting of a total stranger the community members have been in this area. Casa do Varatojo itself is a great place to relax and unwind and explore surrounding destinations nearby, including Nazaré. The casinha where I stayed for several weeks was warm, cozy and clean, with a nice shower and little terrace. Sara and her family were helpful and always available if I needed help and information. I had a special request for my reservation, and Sara couldn't have been more accomodating. Finally, Sara offers yoga classes several times a week, and generously offered to let me use her yoga studio many times. It was a great stay! Thank you Sara and your lovely family!

Óptima localização. Casa nova e totalmente equipada. Anfitriã simpática e sempre disponível. Recomendado.
