Good location, 10 mins walk to the centre and next door to a little shop for water. Good air-con and very good WiFi! Santiago is a dicey city though. If you look like a tourist you will get hassled and it's an edgier, more persistent hassle than Havana; keep an eye on your stuff, especially on dark streets with the blackouts. But if you do come to Santiago this is a nice room and friendly host. And that good WiFi is a real bonus!

La Casita de Marta es una muy buena opción para hospedarse en Santiago. Ubicación estupenda, habitación y estancias muy cómodas y además contamos con la amabilidad y rapidez de Marta y Adela que nos prepararon el desayuno rápidamente y gestionaron diferentes servicios para ayudarnos. Totalmente recomendable!

The stay was overall pleasant. Craig was great in communicating and knowledgeable about the area. I will recommend it. There was running water at all times. Kitchen was functional.

Excelente apartamento, muy limpio ,tranquilo, bien cuidado y con fluido eléctrico en todo momento debido a la ubicación. La anfitriona muy amable y pendiente a todas nuestras necesidades. Sin duda alguna volvería a dicha propiedad. RECOMENDADO 100%.😃😀

We booked Yanets place in Santiago for a week and we were really happy about it! Great location, great host and nice spacious house. We enjoyed our breakfast (pancakes, fresh fruit, eggs and great coffee!) in the morning sun on the patio before we went to salsaclass. Yanet gave us recommendations for the best paladares and dance lacations. La Claqueta is definitely a winner ;) thanks for the great stay!

Wir hatten zwei wunderschöne Nächte bei Norka und können unseren Aufenthalt nur empfehlen! Wir wurden herzlich empfangen, und unser Zimmer war sehr schön, ausgestattet mit Klimaanlage, Ventilator und Kühlschrank. Alles war sauber und ordentlich. Norka war stets hilfsbereit und gab uns tolle Tipps für Ausflugsziele und Restaurants in Santiago de Cuba. Die zentrale Lage des Hauses ermöglicht es, alles bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Frühstück war köstlich, mit einer großen Auswahl: Eier, Saft, Kaffee, Obst und Brot. Ihr Papagei „Paco“ war ein netter Begleiter und immer dabei. Vielen Dank, liebe Norka, für deine Gastfreundschaft und Unterstützung! Wir wünschen dir alles Gute für die Zukunft.

La casa è in ottima posizione e rispetta pienamente la descrizione, è pulitissima, l'host molto gentile, mi ha aspettata a tarda ora per fare il check in, è disponibile a fornire tutte le informazioni in caso si abbia bisogno di qualcosa. La camera è molto spaziosa, Il letto è comodo, l'aria condizionata e il ventilatore a soffitto sono sicuramente un plus, sicuramente una bella casa a poca distanza dal Parco Cespedes, se torno a Santiago, la scelgo ancora,

La estancia fue muy agradable, es un sitio muy tranquilo, seguro y con unas bellas vistas.. La mata de uva que cubre el patio es una bendicion para los calores de Santiago, mas la generosidad de Yailen al ofrecerme siempre que hacia una recogida de racimos.. El interior es comodo y la cocina bien equipada. Recomiendo el sitio a todo visitante y me alegrara repetir algun dia la estancia

Yamila se ocupó de todo desde el primer momento. Le pedí un taxi para que me recogiera en el aeropuerto y allí estaba a la hora convenida, aunque le tocó esperar más de 1 hora, no puso problemas. Yamila siempre está dispuesta a ayudarte en todo lo que puedas necesitar, te indica las particularidades del Cubano, te da indicaciones para que tu viaje resulte inolvidable, muy atenta. Cuando vuelva a Santiago, esa será mi casa Totalmente recomendable

Auf unserer knapp dreiwöchigen Tour in Cuba war die „Casa Milena“ das Hightlight. Zimmer und Bad waren riesig und sehr liebevoll hergerichtet, der Innenhof ist eine „kleine, grüne Ruheoase“, das Frühstück wurde von Milena liebevoll zubereitet und Milena war so fürsorglich und freundlich und so bemüht um uns, wie wir es bis dahin noch nicht erlebt hatten! Einfach toll und wir können es nur jedem empfehlen, der in Santiago de Cuba eine private Unterkunft sucht. Und etwas spanisch hat uns Milena auch versucht beizubringen - leider erfolglos 😂. Aber das lag an uns 😂😂😂

Liebesvolle Gastgeberin, immer erreichbar und immer lächelnd. Service wie im 5 Sterne Hotel. Jeder Wünsch war von den Lippen abgelesen. Alles super auch alle in der Nähe… Sehenswürdichkeiten, Restaurants und Geschäfte. Notfalls wurden Besorgungen für uns übernehmen. Sehr sauber uns auch Wächeservice inklusive. Sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Wir wurden freundlich mit einem Kaffee und einem Saft empfangen. Ich war für vier Nächte hier, meine Reisebegleitung für drei. Leider ist mir bei der Buchung ein Fehler passiert, da nur 1 Gast drin stand. Es war der selbe Preis für zwei Personen deshalb war es nicht schlimm, zudem haben wir spontan verlängert - was kein Problem war. Es ist sehr sauber und ordentlich. Da ich nicht frühstücke, hab ich keins in Anspruch genommen. Dafür meine Reisebegleitung, es war sehr gut. Margarita bietet einen Wäscheservice für 5€ an, noch am selben Tag waren meine Kleider trocken. WLAN ist verfügbar, nur leider nicht immer zugänglich was meine weiteren Buchungen sehr erschwert hat. Hatte im Zimmer oftmals kein Netz - lag wahrscheinlich an meinem Handy. Die Lage ist super! Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in der Nähe sowie tolle Restaurants. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen! Vielen Dank :)

Eduardo was a perfect host; our plane was delayed but he stayed up to welcome us and settle us in. A refreshing beer on the rooftop terrace once we’d u packed was very welcome. The room was perfect; immaculate, clean with a great shower and aircon. We loved the Cuban aesthetic of the home; pretty ceramic floor tiles, high ceilings and stripped back doors. Breakfast on the terrace the next morning was simple and tasty. Would have loved to stay there longer.

the rooms were comfortable and clean, the breakfast was good. what made this special was the helpfulness of the hosts. they made our stay in Santiago de Cuba memorable. thank you.

Excellente adresse, bien placée dans un bon quartier central, logement très propre, très calme, confortable, les hôtes sont attentionnés. Très bon petit déjeuner à 6 euros. Nous recommandons.

Nadat wij uit Maguana kwamen en in deze b&b verbleven was het contrast tussen beide al groot. Baracoa is heel arm, Santiago heeft weer meer te bieden. We hadden een goede kamer, lieve gezellige mensen die ook tips gaven over de omgeving, we zijn naar El Morro (restaurant) geweest, mooie plek om te eten, artiesten lopen daar waar je kunst van kan kopen. Er zijn wel meer geluiden van honden die blaffen of mensen die aan het werk zijn, als je erg gevoelig bent voor geluid zijn oordopjes misschien een idee tijdens het slapen. Heerlijk avond eten gegeten, lekker gekookt en nog een kleine kookles gekregen met bakbanaan.
