We were travelling from Manila to Siargao and Christian's place is the perfect spot to stay at after a long drive. We got stuck in Naga due to the flooding brought about by TS Kristine. Christian was kind enough to hold the place for us until we've successfully rode the roro. He even upgraded our room to a bigger one to accommodate my 5 dogs. Pros: Shower heater!! I really thought I had to endure a cold shower after a very long and tiring ride (and traffic) but the room had it. It was amazing! The room was big, with strong wifi. Water pressure was good. There's still a lot of things to improve, but the overall stay was awesome. Would love to go back and chat more with the owner. It felt like we spent the night at a friend's place. Oh! and the place was right in front of the sea so you can feel the breeze especially in the morning. Too bad the resto was closed when we stayed but I bet the food tastes great. They serve iced Americano, one of the best I tasted so far for its price.

Das Haus ist wirklich schön und die Terrasse lädt zum Verweilen ein. Im Schlafzimmer gibt es eine Split-Type-Klimaanlage, die nur während eines geplanten "Brownouts" nicht funktioniert hat, aber weil Mrs. Fe einen Generator hat, konnten die Ventilatoren genutzt werden. Wer die schönste Unterkunft in Calbayog buchen möchte und Privatsphäre schätzt, der wird sich hier sehr wohlfühlen. Herzlichen Dank an Mrs. Fe und ihre Helferin, die mir freundlicherweise immer das Tor für den Roller geöffnet und geschlossen hat :)

Our host was very easy to reach and went above and beyond to help us. Very much the best host we ever had.

My second stay at Rea's penthouse and again it was just perfect for my needs. Check in was a breeze with Rea greeting me personally and the new key lock is a great addition. The place was cleaned to a high standard on arrival. Very tastefully furnished and decorated and Rea has thought of all the little touches to make staying here so comfortable. The air-con whisper quiet, great comfy beds and plenty of towels and pillows. This place has so much more than other rentals in the area. Rea has listened to recent feedback and now has installed an all in one toaster/ grill/ oven, which is a great addition to the kitchen, now I can have toast and grilled sandwiches any time! Just perfect for us Europeans ! I can highly recommend Rea's place and will definitely be rebookng in the near future Thanks Rea.

Walter and Nancy were absolutely fantastic hosts during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time, the cabin was outstanding, beautiful views of the pond and local wildlife, and walters gifts of fruit and tilapia were wonderfully received. A truly beautiful place to stay, will absolutely book again when we are in the north of the island. Thankyou both so much.

Loved the location. Loved the place The only issue is the small parking for suv because it is right at the roadside. We were still able to park though. Hopefully faster response next time especially when it is time for checkin, in case there are questions or confusions. Overall, the stay was great.
