The place is absolutely stunning. You feel totally private except for the odd goat and lizard. The hot tub is a really nice space and the barbecue area is a lovely way to cook some local caught fish. We would definitely stay again.

The apartment was absolutely perfect for our stay in Funchal. Mario is a great host and was very helpful. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly to anyone looking for a cool place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Maria's place. It was very clean and comfortable. It has lovely views of the ocean and great location to discover the whole island. There was also everything we needed including the basics for cooking like oil, vinegar, salt and herbs. The only small downside was that the town was a little too far to walk but there are a couple of restaurants that can be walked to. Maria was great at giving us recommendations and helping out when we had issues with our flights.

This was our second time at Eva's beautiful house. It was perfect! The house itself is great and has everything you need, the mountain views from the different spots (terrace, garden, living room and bedroom) are superb and worth the car ride! Eva is a great host (of course, we knew that already from last time) and actually helped us out with a huge problem: we were stranded at the airport, since we were denied our rental car. Eva helped us out with a car of her own within a few hours, which literally saved our holidays! Thanks again and see you again soon, hopefully :)!

Angela's place was a great size for 4 people, beautiful view of the ocean, sunsets. Angela met us personally for a tour of her place with instructions on everything. A good location to sights on the Southwestern side of Madeira. A reasonable drive to other parts of the island. A grocery store right around the corner came in real handy. The cake and a bottle of wine were a nice gesture.

Dejligt og rent sted - optimalt for et sjælsretreat. Skøn udsigt over havet og hyggeligt med besøg af hunden Eddie og fuglesang i baghaven. Meget venlige og imødekommende og samtidig respektfulde voksne værter, der var så omsorgsfulde at traktere med julemad og kager 1. juledag, da jeg ankom og alle butikkerne var lukkede, så jeg ikke kunne foretage indkøb. Bestemt et genbesøg værd. Værelset indeholder alle faciliteter og lokalområdet er stille og roligt.

Great location, clean and modern apartment, wonderful large balcony with a great view. A steep walk back to the apartment though!

My husband and I are in our 60's, we did not hire a car but relied on the buses. The Number two bus is right outside, the number 1 & 3 are down the hill and a bit of a walk, easier for us if we walk a bit of a zig zag- up one block stop for a wee sip and then continue :) the number 4 bus stops about one block down and over a block. We took the bus to Lido and enjoyed the swimming complex with a huge pool, lockers , showers. We enjoyed a few jazz venues, walking along the promenade and roof top views. The apartment was lovely and had a nice cross breeze and a washer/dryer. We would book again. :)

Paula's apartment is brilliantly situated for coastal walks, levadas inland, or to explore Funchal's shopping district and old town. As a host, Paula was responsive and proactive, checking in with recommendations. The apartment was easy to find. Check-in was smooth. The place was super clean and tidy, and well appointed. Thank you for having us. We had a really good time, in a lovely apartment, and we would love to return.

Here’s my review of the stay: In short, it was simply perfect! The apartments were clean and had absolutely everything we needed. The view of the ocean and the sunsets was our favorite part. We felt completely at home!

Wir sind sehr freundlich von Julie empfangen worden und konnten am Abreisetag die Wohnung länger nutzen. Der Ausblick auf den Hafen von Funchal ist atemberaubend und die Terrasse hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Ein besonderes Plus war der Parkplatz auf dem Grundstück.

Very nice appartment. In the city center - great location. Just the mattresses could be more comfortable but for that price its all good :) I recommend :)

Maria et son mari sont des personnes adorables. Situé sur les hauteurs de Funchal dans un environnement calme et une vue magnifique sur la baie. Idéal si vous cherchez un logement loin de l'agitation de la ville. Parking privé pour la voiture. Et ligne de bus juste à côté pour aller dans le centre de Funchal en 15 mns. Et de là d'autres lignes de bus pour rejoindre les autres endroits de l'île ! Parfait 😚

Perfect location! Convenient and functional apartment

Apartament idealny dla rodziny. Byliśmy tylko we troje ale spokojnie jeszcze troje gości by się zmieściło. Apartament zadbany, łóżka wygodne, posiada wszystkie udogodnienia.Wymagane było tylko umycie sztućcy oraz szklanek. Okolica jak w opisie. Super piekarnia Flor do Garaju , codziennie kupowaliśmy tam świeże, pyszne bułki z batatów. Dobre restauracje. Do tej najlepszej -A Traineira ok 30 minut pieszo ale naprawdę warto! Do plaży cały czas z górki. Do kolejki 10 minut pieszo i można zjechać . Plaża spokojna, kamienista. Pod blokiem przystanek autobusowy, w 20 minut dojeżdża się do centrum Funchal. Poza tym warto mieć samochód. My dzięki temu zwiedziliśmy prawie całą wyspę. Plusem jest miejsce w podziemnym parkingu. Z przyjemnością przyjechałabym jeszcze raz do tego samego apartamentu. Polecam!

Chayanne is an attentive and kind host who went out of his way to make our stay extra comfortable, and gave us useful recommendations for our trip. The flat is peaceful and spacious and has everything you need; great selection of crockery, knives and pans, and one could easily stay a month here comfortably. There is a decent sized pool and a cosy balcony to enjoy the views. I highly recommend this place and I hope to come back here next time!

We stayed at Carlos apartment for six weeks. It is an excellent place to stay. Carlos met us at the arrival and informed about the apartment, the surroundings, lot of useful information and answered our questions about different issues. Through our stay we communicated with Carlos and he responded promptly and very friendly. We can highly recommend the apartment and Carlos as a great host.

Tolle Lage im Zentrum von Funchal. Wir waren begeistert von dem grandiosen Ausblick über die Stadt. Fernando hatte im Vorfeld hilfreiche Anweisungen für den Check-in geschickt, so dass die Unterkunft einfach zu finden war. Wir fanden auch klasse, dass eine Waschmaschine vorhanden war. Wir würden diese Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen.

This was my 3rd stay here. An excellent place which is in a great location, with it being fairly quiet and only a 5/10 minute walk to plenty of restaurants and bars. Rooms very good, Kitchen seemed to have what we needed, and the terrace is superb. Can sit out in the sun or in the shade, lovely for a quiet breakfast looking at the sea. Around a 20-25 minute walk to the old town but buses and taxis easy and cheap enough if you cannot go that far. Will more than likely be back next year. 10/10

En rigtig dejlig lejlighed, som vi har boet i 4 x 3 uger over de seneste år. Vi har VIRKELIG nydt lejligheden og den sydvendte altan med havudsigt. Alle moderne bekvemmeligheder findes der og lejligheden er skinnende ren. Desværre er prisen eksploderet, og vi må desværre se os om efter en billigere lejlighed for fremtiden. Det er vi kede af.
