This IS my home away from home. Amy, Sheila and the pets are my family. This is my 3rd stay with them. Leaving yesterday was the most difficult yet. I am so very blessed to have found Peaceful Pastures. Mere words can’t describe how special this place is to me. I got to know some of the most recent dogs Amy and Sheila have adopted this time around and that was fun. My boy Zeppelin still has that special place in my heart. This time around I took some time and drove to different parts of South Carolina and experienced the true South. The culture and charm is something, once experienced, you can’t get out of you. I couldn’t wait to get back to Peaceful Pastures though! Whether it was relaxing by the pool, taking a walk out to the pasture to say hi to the horses, cows, ponies and donkeys or just hanging out with dogs and relaxing in the breeze way. This place is just what your Spirit needs! Amy and Sheila, I Love You and hope to see you all again soon.

The Selah Barn was a great place to stay for the weekend! It’s beautiful and cozy. It was great for the little kids as there were great things for them to play on/with. My five year old daughter lovingly deemed the playhouse “The Beaver House” after the beavers from the Chronicles of Narnia. If we’re back in the area we definitely will come back!

This was our first experience at The Barn and with Scotty. Our goal was a place where we could gather our two daughters and their families for New Years; Three couples, two college age daughters (and 1 boyfriend), and an 11 year old, active grandson. The sleeping quarters were perfect with predominantly king or queen beds (all comfortable) and private baths. The inside was spacious and allowed separate activities and quiet reading areas, and separate TV room. Wi-Fi worked great but we resisted being on it. Had a fire in the fireplace one cold night; everything worked and firewood provided. Two other nights we gathered around the fire pit outside for hours with s’mores. There was a huge swing (from a tree limb), plenty of room for soccer and wiffleball games. Exterior lighting at night was wonderful. We walked around the neighborhood freely with no fear or apprehension. It is “country” and a great place to escape, gather, and focus on family and friends like bygone days

This was by far one of the best Airbnbs I have Ever stayed. Very clean, quiet with beautiful scenery. Host was very friendly and responsive. Loved everything about it, will definitely be back to stay again. Highly recommend!!!!!!

This place was absolutely GORGEOUS. My wife and I had to deal with a family loss and this location gave us everything we needed as we dealt with the loss in the family.

My family and I enjoyed staying here. Candice and her husband were great, checked in on us to make sure all needs were met. My daughters enjoyed feeding the chickens and playing with the goats and cats. Property peaceful and relaxing. We would totally stay here again.

Carlie and Carmen were amazing hosts! This was my first time in Georgia and they both helped give recommendations of places to check out. They were both extremely flexible and responsive. The cottage was so cozy and I loved seeing all the animals in the morning 🥰🥰 Definitely recommend!!!!

Our stay at the Linda’s tiny barn was soul-refreshing. The hosts are warm, thoughtful, and clearly love their animals and the land. Waking up to the soft clucking of hens and freshly picked eggs felt like a step into nature and a grounded world. We loved visiting with donkey, peacocks, alpacas and more. Highly recommend if you’re looking to unplug and feel close to nature (with just the right touches of comfort and charm!).

Enjoyed staying for our daughter's horse show. Super convenient to stay on site. Gorgeous sunset off the back!

What an amazing experience! This home is beautiful and so clean and well kept. We were able to meet Kasie and she is so sweet and friendly. Made us feel like we had known her for years! And the animals were such a joy to watch and interact with. We will definitely stay here in the future! 10/10 recommend!

The Hay Loft was so amazing! We enjoyed watching the horses from the balcony. Size was perfect for 3 adults and 2 kids. It was wonderful to sit by the lake while the kids played on the playground. We will be back here for sure!!

This is a really neat place, especially for a family with kids. The house is exactly as advertised, roomy, very clean and comfortable. The shower was great and the heater in the bathroom was particularly nice. The surroundings are what make it really great though - lots of animals to see, super friendly dogs, a great pond for fishing, etc. We will definitely come back here.

I absolutely loved this place! The views are breathtaking, and the variety of games and activities provided in the loft made our stay so much more enjoyable. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making it tempting to stay in and relax rather than venture out. Truly an amazing experience!

I didn't actually get to stay as my plans changed at the last minute. However I wanted to leave a review for Carla.........she was very considerate of my situation and treated me graciously. Her communication was excellent and she even gave me a partial refund which I did not expect or ask for. Super sweet person and I am so sorry I didn't get to meet her (and the dogs!) in person. I come through this area several times a year and hope to stay at the farm in the future.
