Shemen and her husband Lindsay have welcomed me into their beautiful home wholeheartedly and went out of their way to make my stay at their place special. They are really warm and kind people. We shared great conversations, I learnt about the country from them and they even generously offered me dinner. Merci beaucoup!

Le logement peut être un peu difficile à trouver mais Vandana viendra vous chercher volontiers à la gare (elle répond rapidement aux messages) La chambre a tout le confort qu’il faut, tout est propre, la cuisine est équipée si on veut cuisiner. Le patio est très chouette pour se détendre. Le quartier est tranquille et la bourgade de Mahebourg très authentique

I enjoyed my stay very much. Vandana and her family were extremely kind and accommodating, communicated perfectly and were very flexible with the check in and airport transport. The house is also very nice in a quiet neighbourhood with cozy rooms. If I come back to Mauritius in the future, I'll definitely stay here again.

Richie est très disponible et attentionné! Sa maman est adorable et nous a fait un petit plat pour le soir, une belle surprise. La chambre est spacieuse, propre et la tv a netflix ^^

Vandana war sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend! ich habe spontan gebucht und es hat alles wunderbar geklappt! Der Eingangsbereich ist voller schöner Pflanzen, ich fühlte mich sofort wohl! Sie ging auf alle Fragen ein und es lief alles sehr gut! Ich könnte kochen, duschen und einen Spaziergang machen. Herzlichen Dank für die spontane Übernachtung

We had a very nice and lovely stay at Vandanas Airbnb. It is all very nice and clean. Every corner invites to relax and enjoy the stay. The eye for detail makes it even more cozy. Also,Vandana is a very lovely person, she is very helpful, relaxed, we directly felt like home and part of the family. We highly recommend it!!! :-)

Un séjour chez Chenaz, c'est pouvoir s'immerger complètement dans la vie quotidienne d'une famille mauricienne. Chenaz fait tout pour qu'on se sente bien, elle cuisine à merveille des plats typiques du petit déjeuner au dîner. Je me suis sentie comme une princesse chez elle et elle m'a permis de découvrir l'ile Maurice en me conduisant dans les plus beaux endroits du Sud de l'Ile et au Morne. Puis vous pouvez vous balader au Trou aux cerfs à 25 min à pied de chez elle. Je vous recommande virement de séjourner chez elle pour la rencontrer car c'est une femme qu'on ne peut pas oublier de part son caractère et son dynamisme !

Sabrina ist eine sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, wir haben unseren Aufenthalt bei ihr genossen! Wir durften früher einchecken und länger bleiben. Beim Einchecken haben wir direkt viele Empfehlungen für verschiedene Aktivitäten bekommen. La Gaulette ist ein schöner kleiner Ort, ein Supermarkt und einige Restaurants sind fußläufig erreichbar. Le Morne Strand ist nur 7 Autominuten entfernt. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, es gab frischen Obst, und Spiegelei wurde frisch zubereitet. Meinem Freund hat nur Käse oder Gemüse gefehlt, da er herzhaftes Frühstück bevorzugt :) Danke, Sabrina (und das Team), für diesen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt!

I am sooo glad I came across this hidden gem! I stayed in the deluxe VIP room with mountain and ocean view. The view was breathtaking and so peaceful. The room itself had ample space and all the amenities that you need. I slept so well and felt right at home. Breakfast is fantastic. Fresh fruits , eggs and pastries, yum! From start to finish, Sabrina was so responsive and helpful with her suggestions of what to do around the area. Sabrina made me feel right at home. All the staff were amazing! Make sure you go to Gregory’s secret restaurant (he has a cute spot just a few blocks away) and makes absolutely anything you want. You ask him, and he will make it! Easy access for excursions on boat or to go to La Morne beach. Also if you love hiking make sure you hike the La morne mountain. Breathtaking views. Overall I am extremely happy with my stay here and will definitely be coming back. I cannot thank Sabrina, Gregory, Jean Pierre, Tracey and all the staff who made my stay extra special!

Sylviane est très chaleureuse et réactive, à l’écoute et au petit soin des voyageurs .. un exemple d’hospitalité ! Agréable personne !

Sabrina & Jean-Pierre are warm-hearted, communicative, lovely hosts with a lot of passion for their 8 bed guesthouse (very clean!) with amazing views and sundowners over the ocean. They share sightseeing tips, recommendations and can arrange tours. We were even invited to a birthday party, which was a lot of fun to get in contact with local people. The breakfast was local food, containing of regional fruits. In the evening dinner was available if enough people (4+) interested. The quality was amazing with homemade food and special rum as a finish. You can get in touch with other guests, which was great. The house is situated in La Gaulette, a surfer/kite surfing hotspot. In a 5-10 Minutes driving distance is Le Morne, one of the sightseeing/„postcard like“ highlights, which we highly recommend. Great restaurants are in walking distance. Will come back when in Mauritius!

The area is great for anyone interested in activities. sea activities are less than 10 minutes away and nature and hiking are 20-40 minutes by car. The room is very clean and the bed is comfortable and the view is very nice from the 2nd floor rooms. The breakfast is delicious and the staff are friendly. The iron can be borrowed from the cleaning staff upon request. highly recommended in general.

We decided to spend three nights at laferme coco to experience something different to the rather anonymous and typical hotel atmosphere! We were rewarded with a stunning farm and two very kind, caring and interesting hosts! The story behind the farm truly spend inspiration for a life on a beautiful farm. Besides very sweet chats, we were enjoying the transformed tasteful goods of this incredible place. Christine and Stéphane: thanks for everything, we will not forget you guys and this experience. Thanks for making us feel at home!

We stayed there for a few hours because we had a flight very late at night. We are very grateful that we found Poonam's place because it is only 5 mins from the airport. she was very friendly and welcomed us and made us feel at home. We were able to rest properly before our long flight. Thank you!

Chambre jolie simple et efficace ! Vue magnifique depuis le balcon partagé de la chambre ainsi que de la salle du petit déjeuner! Le petit déjeuné etait fait maison, c’était très bon Merci à eux pour leurs accueils !

Excellent rapport qualité prix, les hôtes sont très gentils et accueillants, c'est bien placé. Rien à redire. J'étais en voyage solo, je recommande pour les autres jeunes femmes comme moi allez y les yeux fermés ✌🏼

Isabelle's B&B is very conveniently located close to the airport, which is why we chose it. After staying there for one night prior to our flight, we're sad about not having been there for longer. The rooms have lovely terraces and there's a large swimming pool. Breakfast was great with bread, cheese, yoghurt and juice. Due to us having to leave early in the morning, Isabelle gave it to us the night before, but I'm sure it's even more lovely if you have it normally, in the house or by the pool with freshly baked bread. All in all, a great accomodation throughout - next time, we'll stay a couple of days!

We had a wonderful stay with Connie and her husband. The accommodation is right by the water, offering a fantastic view of Mahebourg Bay. The rooms are nicely decorated and spotless! We would have loved to stay longer, but unfortunately, this was our last stop in Mauritius. Connie is incredibly kind and warm-hearted – she gave us the best tips for sightseeing and delicious places to eat afterward. We highly recommend this accommodation and want to thank you for the great time we had with you! Best regards from Germany and see you soon!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Herzlicher Empfang, schöner Pool, sauberes Zimmer mit großem Bad und Außendusche. Hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und großzügig.
