We stayed here for our honeymoon and WOW what an amazing place. The views from the cabin are insane, we were snowed in for a few days but the cabin was the perfect place for a few slow days! Ellen-Kristine and Bjørn we're really helpful and quick to respond when we had any questions. They even got a friendly neighbour to check we were ok when the unexpected snow arrived! For outdoor activities the location is perfect, Stranda itself is very quiet, it's a fairly long drive (40mins) for any nice restaurants, but that was fine with us!

I liked everything very much! Very beautiful and quiet place. Freshly renovated house and super clean. Inessa is a great host, told and showed everything. Responded to messages very quickly. I will definitely visit this cool place again ;)

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit und haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Hot Tub ist sensationell! Wenn man im Winter dieses schöne Haus bucht, empfiehlt es sich mit einem Auto mit Spikes anzureisen.

Le logement est agréable, fonctionnel et charmant et très bien équipé. (sol chauffant ds le sas d'entrée, bonne literie et vaisselle top (très facile de cuisiner avec des bons couteaux et largement assez de vaisselle), une profusion d'alimentation en dépannage ! Idem pour les produits d'hygiène ! Un logement adapté pour 6 personnes sans se marcher sur les pieds et la cerise sur le gâteau est le super jakuzi !et jenny répond rapidement aux questions !

What an amazing experience!! It felt like we were living in a movie!! Everything was wonderful, from the house, the lale, the fireplace and the Christmas decorations. I would recommend it without doubt to anyone!!

Like all the reviews below, its just amazing feeling what you get there. It is really private and remote . Nice surroundings and view from your porch is just amazing. Long story short - pictures can’t explain the feeling . Inside - i would recommend for a couple not more, pretty small inside but everything u need . Very recommended, coming back some day.

Un superbe cabanon: très bien pensé et bien aménagé, confortable. Sanitaires communs très propres. Un séjour très agréable. Nous recommandons fortement cet hébergement !

Ihana paikka ja lämmin savusauna oli huikea yllätys! Eläimet ja isäntäväki oli ystävällisiä. Varmasti tullaan uudelleen, jos Hailuodossa liikutaan. Vahva suositus!

Janis hat uns eigens zum Haus chauffiert. Ein Zusatzdienst, den wir ÖV-Fahrer mit Gepäck sehr geschätzt haben. Die Lage von Kuckuck die Hütte ist perfekt für Naturliebhaberinnen, weil man den Wald und den Strand zu Fuss erkunden kann. Das Haus war im Schnee noch gemütlicher, als es auf den Bildern aussieht. Die Kombination von Eisbaden im Weiher und Entspannen im Hottub ist für Winterbesucher ein Muss. 🤩 Janis und Madara waren stets für uns erreichbar, was kaum nötig war, da alles tiptop erklärt war und funktionierte.

We would come again in a heartbeat. We spent 5 nights over Christmas and it was a dream. Off the beaten track, back to the basics but with everything you need. Jan & Ane were around at all times if we needed something. All the dogs are super friendly and you can take them on walks. We definitely suggest to book a dog tour in winter – it‘s amazing. Thank you for everything!

Veetsime kaks ööd selle armsas majakeses. Värske lumega oli seal eriti ilus. Saun läks väga kiiresti soojaks ja väga mõnus oli kohe 3 meetrit eemal külma vette hüpata. Samuti oli jõe kõrval kulgev ilus metsarada, mida mööda sai seigelda. Kõik oli mega.

Wir haben fast eine Woche mit 8 Personen und zwei Hunden in der Unterkunft verbracht. Die Unterkunft war super eingerichtet, sehr sauber und ordentlich! Es war sehr gemütlich und auch mit 8 Personen gar nicht eng! Die Aussicht ist super. Mit dem Wetter hatten wir wenig Glück, aber die Sauna und der Whirlpool haben uns darüber hinweggeholfen! Der Urlaub wäre nur noch besser geworden, hätten wir Polarlichter gesehen. Vielen Dank für die schönen Tage!

Super gemütliche Hütte, mit Kamin, Küche und Badezimmer, wo alles vorhanden war, was man benötigte. Die Kommunikation war super, es wurde an alles gedacht, und wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt. Ruhige Gegend, wo man gut spazieren gehen kann.

The spot is great. Nice views on the fjord when waking up. We used the cabin as a stop on the road coming from Tromso. We arrived after midnight and Hallgeir even stayed awake to guide us to the cabin. This was really nice and handy as the cabin is at the far end of the camping. Small, but cozy cabin as described. Clear instructions for the combustable toilet and normal toilets on walking distance.

At Jalmari’s place, we had such a beautiful view of pine trees and archipelago. We had access to a small dock for a night swim in between our sauna rounds. Can’t ask for more. Jalmari was very helpful with instructions. He came in person to show us how things work around the place and made sure that the sauna was hot when we arrived. Very kind host :)

Really cozy place to stay for a weekend very close to Tallinn. The place is very cheap and it's great to stay for 1-2 people there. There's also a shop around 200 meters walking. Print and his wife are super friendly and allowed me with a late check out. It was may pleasure to stay here.

Flott, romslig og meget velutstyrt tømmerhytte. Hytta ligger nært Haukelifjell skisenter og en fantastisk fjellheim og har oppstillingsplass for 3-4 biler. Sveinung hadde ordnet med brøyting og det var absolutt påkrevet. Vi leide hytta med anneks og det ga oss 7 menn veldig rikelig boltreplass - vi kunne lett vært dobbelt så mange. Det er et veldig velutstyrt kjøkken og det passet oss matglade karer veldig godt. Det eneste vi ikke fikk til, var stampen. Det krever nok enda mer tålmodig og langvarig fyring enn de 6 timene vi holdt på. Uansett et utrolig flott opphold og en hyggelig og imøtekommende vert.

We spent one week in the cabin for New Year's, and our children and we absolutely loved it! It is a cozy cabin, and with the stove, we stayed very warm despite the below-zero temperatures outside. We had a great time with the sledges, the snow, the sauna, and the beautiful surroundings. Hamar is also very close, offering nice cafés, restaurants, shops, and cultural activities for a city day. Robin and Louise were super hospitable, and thanks to them, our stay was even more special ❤️

I feel like there are 3 types of people who rent out their places on airbnb: 1:People who want to rent out their basement for a quick bit of easy money. 2:People who like to share their property with travellers from all corners of the world. 3:Vidar. What an incredible stay we have had at Vidars super cosy cabin. From the moment we arrived Vidar's cheery personality made us feel immediately at home, and that he truely wanted us to have the best experience possible. The cabin is unbelievably cosy, and even with temperatures of -20 outside it was easy to get it to +25 inside by using the log burner. The toilet facilities were spotless and very comfortable. We were able to borrow cross country skis to explore the beautiful tracks in the area. Vidar was an absolute superhero when I had a skiing accident in Trysil and ended up in hospital. He took great care of my partner and dog, driving them to the hospital, arranging collection of my car etc etc. What a wonderful human being.
