We had a really lovely stay at Andrea and Jason’s property in The Bay. The flat was really clean and had everything we needed (towels, washing up liquid, tea towel etc). We were given clear instructions via text about how to get into the property and about the check out process. There were also really clear instructions in the property how to use the appliances. We liked being able to have a fancy coffee using the coffee machine too. Would definitely recommend.

What a find! We were in market town of Helmsley (15min drive away) for spa day for partners big birthday & know Howardian Hills area well ie nearby Coxwold / Ampleforth. Not many Airbnb around area & last min getaway so plumped for this. Loved cosy cottage with massive king bed, fresh linen, lovely sunny patio doors looking onto private bit of lawned slope. Well equipped kitchen for bit of self catering. Fab to have use pool, hot tub, tennis courts, putting, small gym room, although we didn’t use as short stay. Most of all we were enchanted by magnificent grand grounds / garden you can wander freely - magnolia tree in bloom, high hedges, Georgian folly, woodland paths, a brook lined with wild garlic / primrose, little bridges, more sun loungers across the stream. Had this idyllic sunny April weather too. Only big improvement would be to get comfier sofa & armchair as had too firm cushions and was v hard to relax in them for long. Thanks lovely hidden North Yorks getaway!

Steve was absolutely fantastic—genuinely kind, incredibly helpful, and wonderfully flexible. He went out of his way to accommodate every request. Communication was always smooth, clear, and prompt, which made the whole experience feel effortless. We truly appreciate his support and highly recommend him!

Lovely place peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Loved the fresh clean smell that emanated throughout the complex. The appointment was immaculately clean and would definitely recommend.😁

We booked very last minute and received response re booking and checking in within minutes. Check in is with key box by the door only thing I would say is all the other key boxes have the number on the outside but this one is blank and the number is inside the flap. Anthony kept in touch during our stay with messages. The apartment was in The Bay where we have stayed before and we found it to be comfortable and quiet for a few days break away. The bed was very comfortable with good bed linen and the rainwater shower in the bathroom was very good. The little welcome pack of tea bags coffee 2 biscuits and small washing up liquid, dishwasher tablet, jey cloth and sponge was a useful addition. The apartment is minutes away from the main road from Bridlington to Scarborough(no road noise at all in or outside the apartment) and is very convenient for exploring the east coast or Yorkshire wolds. Filey is about 5 to 10 minutes drive away. Thanks Anthony we had a really nice break away.

We stayed at Bay Retreat for 2 nights. It was spotlessly clean, nicely furnished, lovely and warm and well equipped. It is just a 10 minute walk to a beautiful beach, we walked into Filey and back along the coast, gorgeous! It's close to some good pubs and restaurants. We didn't stay long enough to use the facilities that are included on the holiday village site, such as the pool, sauna, steam room etc but that's a bonus for if you have a longer stay or the weather isn't too good. We would definitely stay again.

We spent 2 nights at the apartment. Everything was as described. The location is fantastic within a beautiful holiday village and only 5 mins walk to the amazing never ending sandy beach which is absolutely perfect for your four legged friend. Filey is only 5 mins drive with lovely shops and restaurants and bustling Scarborough only a 15 mins drive. Will definitely be back!

What a lovely apartment so nice and welcoming, everything you could need with little tastful gestures. It is in a nice quiet area but only a short walk to onsite pub and beach. We had such a fantastic time will definately return x

I was working away in North Yorkshire and normally stay in Scarborough, however came across this place and it was a bargain. It was perfect for what I needed, I was looking forward to using the extra facilities, however due to work commitments I didn't end up having the time. Hope next time I'm up this way if the place is available I will. I've already recommended the place to friends, family and work colleagues that might be staying up this way. The one and only thing that has no reflection on Andrea, is that I stayed in the off season so a lot of places were closed locally so if anyone happens to be doing the same, just be aware of that. Google told me that the takeaways (Slim Chickens etc) were open when they were and I spent a while trapped driving around until I found a security guard on the Haven site, but again that's no reflection on the accommodation or Andrea. I hope any future visitors have the same experience or better as it was a lovely little bargain spot.

Would definitely book again! Host was friendly and so were the locals. Property was amazing! Thank you for being a star of a host :)

Greatly location great holiday home only problem was other car's parked over entrance so couldn't get too parking area provided excellent place to stay 😀

The house is spot on, 4 big bedrooms, big lounge / dinning area, Place was clean and welcoming, parking at front and back if needed, it’s a 10 min walk from Northbay beach. 10 mins walk or 2 mins drive from Aldi, prob a 15min walk into town.

Beautiful location and the nicest cottage we have stayed in. The views are amazing and the cottage is so close to the beach. Well equipped cottage with great attention to detail.

Great place to have a few nights away as a group or with family, the property is very well looked after, with great little extras in the house. They even made sure there was a brand new poker set in the house for us as I had asked in advance.

We stayed at the property during February half term as we wanted a couple of days at the coast. It’s a short drive to Saltburn, there is a one-stop shop opposite, and a chippy just down the street. The property is in a quiet location and is fantastically finished throughout - it definitely felt like a retreat with the sauna! The host Rebecca communicated well throughout our stay and I’ll definitely be recommending this to family and friends…

Stayed here with friends for my 24th birthday and had the BEST time ever, arrived and there was loads of parking space, a massive front garden, keys were really easy to find and use. Walked in the house it was spotless, immaculate & so big so many rooms with cool decor , the games room was a favourite of ours (spent a lot of time there). The beds were all extremely comfy , had a brilliant sleep every night. There was enough towels for everyone and the massive bath was also a favourite of mine, everything in the property was great and ensured me and the rest of my friends had the best 3 nights ever. Also the hosts were very friendly and helpful and were always on hand and easy to contact there were any problems. Thankyou so much for the stay hopefully will be back 🤞
