We had an absolutely great weekend at Seashells. As a three-generation family group, the house was perfect for us. Diane was very responsive and helpful. Before we even left we booked to go again next year! Great for families - location, layout, amenities, comfort!

McGregors Cottage is a great place to stay in Sandsend. On a quiet road with off street parking and a very short walk to the fantastic beach. There’s a couple of cute cafes, a great pub and a lovely fish restaurant all within a 5 minute walk too! The cottage is cosy with very comfy beds and is well equipped. The garden is a good size with a lovely patio table to sit out and enjoy it. I would definitely recommend staying here xx

The house is beautiful. Everything is spotlessly clean and very tastefully decorated. We've never before experienced so much 'attention to detail' it made our stay extremely comfortable. We echo all the praising comments on their feedback from previous guests. It's immediately apparent from the start Ian and Sarra are conscientious hosts who love their airbnb and want every guest to enjoy their holiday to the full. Communication was excellent throughout, from booking to check-out. pretty much every need was catered for. Listen out for the friendly ghost who runs up and down the stairs and across the landing at night. I think he was trying to find our welcome bottle of wine and Cake. We'd already drunk and ate them 😉 The bedrooms are very spacious, beds are comfortable .The sunsets and rises are a dream to watch from the balconies. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Lovely weekend away in Sandsend. A beautiful holiday home just a 2 minute walk to the beach. Nice and private, plenty of parking, would recommend.

We have spent three glorious days at Matthew and Samantha’s stunning cottage. The cottage was everything we hoped for and beyond. The kitchen was well equipped, from the lovely crockery to the fab oven. We loved the big pine kitchen table and spent time in the evenings eating, drinking wine and putting the world to rights. The sitting room is comfy and the wood burner was excellent. The showers were great. As for the setting, when you open the door the river is in front of you and the beach a few metres to the right, heaven! The local pub to your left was fab, locals go there and are friendly, fish and chips excellent! I could go on and on! Whitby, Runswick Bay etc all close by. Cheers both, we will definitely be back.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay and it must have been the best Airbnb we have stayed in and host. First of all, the location was superb, only a few minutes walk to the waterfront. The house was so well equipped, clean, comfortable and spacious. There were lots of lovely touches, beautiful decor and views. The house was historic which just only added to the charm. Such a great host too. Very informative and helpful, was in touch to check all was ok and flexible. This must be one of the best places to stay in lovely Scarborough so would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you for a great stay in your lovely house.

I had a wonderful stay at The Haven in Robin Hood’s Bay. The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the sea and a charming, historic feel. The cottage itself was cozy, well-equipped, and clean, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The check-in process was straightforward, with clear instructions for accessing the key from the lockbox. The host provided helpful details in advance, including parking information and house rules, which made everything easy to navigate. One of the highlights was being so close to the Bay Hotel and the scenic coastline—it was a fantastic spot for walks and enjoying the seaside atmosphere. The WiFi worked well, which was a bonus. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in a beautiful location. I’d love to visit again in the future!

Great place to stay with beautiful view and a great space outside for the kids to play

Lovely comfortable and clean house. Great location for the beach and to get around the local area. The kids enjoyed the board games, bucket and spades and playing with other children on the site. We enjoyed a walk along the beach into Filey which was nice. The house was lovely and warm and cosy. Also liked the fact there were plenty of hangers and space to store out stuff! We struggled to use the swimming pool on site because it was so busy with it being Easter holidays and the weather being bad. This is obviously no reflection on the accommodation itself but our kids were a bit disappointed as that’s one of the reasons we booked the place. Just worth bearing in mind if visiting in school hols - best to go early morning.

Fantastic stay at Seaspray. Richard sent very helpful instructions before we arrived, not only detailing the check in and how to find the property, but everything we could have needed to make us feel at home. The home was beautiful and we were always warm. The weather turned up for us so we were able to make use of the great location for walls and the sea. You are very close to Filey and with Scarborough and Bridlington only slightly further, so we fit in all 3. We will be coming back. Wonderful state would definitely recommend

We had a lovely stay. Lodge fantastic. Amazing wifi 🙌 Everything you need. Easy little walk from the lodge to the beach and easy to walk along the beach into Filey. The welcome basket was a nice touch, but even nicer touch the wellcom bag for our dog. Thanks for a lovely stay. we will be back. 🥰

This was the perfect place for us to stay for our little getaway to Whitby. It's only a 5 minute drive from the harbour. The surroundings are peaceful and the outdoor spaces for children were ideal for our three year old. The property itself was excellent. We felt right at home straight away. It was well stocked with everything you need and expect from a self catered property with a few little extra bits like snacks & body wash on arrival (which I forgot to bring so a good addition!) The onsite pool was excellent and great value. If we ever return to Whitby we would strongly consider staying here again. John and co-host Rachel were friendly and very responsive to any messages we sent. We highly recommend staying here if you wish to visit Whitby and the surrounding areas.

great mattresses and pillows. sofa in living room really comfy. nice lay out terrible shower, couldn't rinse shampoo out, had to flush both toilets twice, needed a few more cutlery and crockery

We had a terrific four nights at the Boiling House. Everything about the cottage, the village, the amenities, the area, the walks, and everything else, was superb and exactly what we wanted out of a (too) short break. David is great… communications, access, knowledge, etc. was perfect, and we had some nice chats when we bumped into him in town. We’re nothing but really happy with everything and can’t thank David enough for providing such a great experience.

Another great stay at Julie’s smashing house in Hornsea, perfect for our needs when visiting Family in Hornsea.

We had a great time here in Whitby. The house is huge and well equipped and we had plenty of space for our group of 12. We appreciated being able to explore by foot as the house is within walking distance of the station, the town and the beach. Would love to return and stay a bit longer!

Had such a lovely time. Took my elderly parents, a friend and 2 dogs Had everything you could think of and a beautiful place. Very close to the beach and Saltburn. Can’t wait to book again

what a great place to hold our first family reunion. our host Victoria was very accommodating with respect to change of check in time and always responded quickly to questions. The property was ideally placed for walking round the local area and there is so much to do within a short drive. The train station was within walking distance for our party members who don't drive so no problem for them. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable experience with Victorias place. Top Marks.

We had a lovely stay in monkeypowder. We loved the layout with the bedrooms downstairs and living area on the ground floor. The living room has great sea views and an area to sit and lookout. There is a huge comfortable sofa and great wallpaper of a view of Scarborough. The kitchen is modern and well equipped and a great space to enjoy a meal together. The bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds and a modern ensuite. The apartment was spotlessly clean and we loved the quirky furniture. Free parking was a bonus and a great location to explore Scarborough.

Really nice quiet spot located right in Filey. The garden was secure and great for our nervous dog Chico. Also a big plus was the lack of light pollution - we were lucky to get a few clear nights and it was a nice opportunity to do some stargazing. I've not been to Filey before and I really liked it, it was a nice place for a chilled out trip with the dog in the winter
