What a wonderful apartment and so close to the centre. This was a gift for my mum for Christmas who’s never been to York. My mum has to use a wheelchair and this was perfect for accessibility and allowed us to venture into the city easily. What a wonderful host, small touches like leaving milk, juice, snacks and a nice bottle of wine made us smile. I would definitely stay here again Thank you ☺️

A great place to stay, the check in was seamless, the flat matched the description and our expectations. The location is spot on and within easy reach of all amenities and sights of interest. The easily accessible secure parking is an added bonus. Highly recommended.

Staying with Carolyn was a pleasure. The location was perfect, the home was lovely and very clean, and Carolyn was available to answer any questions and she gave excellent instructions. Highly recommended!

From start to finish, Clare was a pleasure to deal with. Clair arranged for the apartment to be available earlier than agreed, to suit our train arrival time, which was greatly appreciated. The apartment was exactly as described and certainly warranted the glowing feedback provided by previous visitors. The location is perfect for visiting York. It is literally round the corner from the train station and all the main attractions are within 15 minutes walking distance. Additionally, there is a Sainsbury’s located next to the apartment and the hop on/off bus stops at the cinema, which is a located about 200 metres from the apartment. All in all, a fantastic place to stay and Clair was the perfect host. I would certainly stay there again and would recommend it to anyone visiting York. Special thanks to Clair for the thoughtful welcome pack and the card for my sister, who was celebrating an upcoming birthday.

Tastefully decorated, clean, spacious and comfortable apartment. Communication was excellent and Ellie was very accommodating to our requests. Would totally recommend a stay here.

I booked the apartment on behalf of my parents and it was ideal for them. The apartment was clean and furnished well as described in the listing. Easy parking right outside the door and bedroom balcony looking out into small private peaceful garden. All the amenities were a short walk to the bottom of the complex. Easy to get into with clear instructions in regards to the keys.

We had an absolutely great weekend at Seashells. As a three-generation family group, the house was perfect for us. Diane was very responsive and helpful. Before we even left we booked to go again next year! Great for families - location, layout, amenities, comfort!

I can’t recommend this stay enough we had all the check in information and features before our arrival making it seamless. The cottage was beautiful, so many little touches that just made for a great stay from the minute we arrived. We will definitely be back x

The house is beautiful. Everything is spotlessly clean and very tastefully decorated. We've never before experienced so much 'attention to detail' it made our stay extremely comfortable. We echo all the praising comments on their feedback from previous guests. It's immediately apparent from the start Ian and Sarra are conscientious hosts who love their airbnb and want every guest to enjoy their holiday to the full. Communication was excellent throughout, from booking to check-out. pretty much every need was catered for. Listen out for the friendly ghost who runs up and down the stairs and across the landing at night. I think he was trying to find our welcome bottle of wine and Cake. We'd already drunk and ate them 😉 The bedrooms are very spacious, beds are comfortable .The sunsets and rises are a dream to watch from the balconies. Thank you for an amazing stay.

As fabulous as expected. Ideal space for two couples, high spec accommodation with lots of room to relax . The kitchen is small if you intend to self cater but the facilities and equipment are excellent. We spent most of the time sat in the dining room watching the peacocks who wandered up to the window each day to be admired. Played tennis and walked into the nearby village along a public footpath 50 mins to a very good pub ( Dawnay Arms ) and evenings in the hot tub . Thoroughly enjoyed it, the host ( Lucy ) is onsite and is welcoming and supportive with communication without any intrusion . No hesitation recommending.

This is an extremely easy review to write - 5 stars all round! As every other guest has said this is beautiful accommodation with two excellent hosts. We couldn’t have asked for more and although we don’t live far away we will definitely stay here again. Perfect!

I would highly recommend staying at the cottages. Great location only 15 minutes from York city, so peaceful and relaxing, the cottage itself was very clean, cosy and with plenty of parking. Micheal was very hospitable, ensuring we had everything we needed during our stay. We will definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay. The location was perfect just a short distance from the city centre, with nice view over a small park. The house was clean and the communication for check in/out was clear. Would recommend for a group trip to York!

I couldn’t recommend the location of this immaculately furnished apartment highly enough. The loft, Bootham House is perfectly situated for every attraction that York has to offer. We parked our car in the secure car park and walked everywhere. The apartment is exactly how it looks in the photos and is a real “home from home”. Beautifully furnished, comfortable and impeccably clean. Caroline furnished us with a list of recommendations which was incredibly helpful. Those we experienced did not disappoint. We will definitely be returning. Well worth a five star review. Thank you for your hospitality and ensuring our break went smoothly.

I had the best bnb stay at this apartment. We had everything we needed, good quality items used throughout the whole apartment. The host was amazing from start to finish. Weve recommended it to family and friends who attended the wedding with us. We will certainly book again next time we visit York, location, apartment and host are the best weve experienced.

Our third stay in Teresa's beautiful apartment, which we love. It's peaceful, spotlessly clean and very well equipped, with a great kitchen and bathroom too. The beach and Scarborough centre are within easy walking distance so you can leave the car behind and enjoy a stress free break. This apartment is one of our favourites and Teresa is a wonderful host, friendly, kind and helpful. We hope to be back soon.

Apartment is immaculate, in a great location, close to town centre but away from traffic and crowds. Paul is a top host who has clearly given a lot of thought as to how to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

This apartment in a word is FANTASTIC. It is very beautiful, exactly like the photographs and even closer to the city than we thought. Literally there in a couple of minutes. It was freezing weather when we went but the apartment was beautifully warm especially the master bathroom floor.

Beautiful clean high quality cottage, perfect for 2 people, greeted by John and Lyndsey, such friendly hosts without being intrusive. Very welcoming to receive a some vital items on arrival like wine, milk, bread, butter, jam and more. Fabulous location in a quiet village, can only hear the birds tweeting. Perfect for walking right on the cinder track. Two pubs within walking distance. Would definitely recommend. We will be returning there some day in the future. This is a great apartment - the bedrooms have aircon and everything you’d need, there’s a large on-suite with rainfall shower - and small touches like the walk in light sensor just elevate the comfort levels. The living room is a decent size with a really (no realllly) comfy sofa, there’s plenty of space to eat and chill in the dining area and the kitchen has everything you would need whilst away. WiFi is very fast and there’s virgin media to watch TV… however, the wrap around balcony is the star of the show! Whilst it does overlook a T junction, theres plenty of privacy and surprisingly little noise. The area is largely businesses so after working hours it’s quiet… the view is great as well. You can get to the bars/market/river front in about 10 mins walking, everything you could need is around you within 1-2mins, it’s really well located. I’d happily recommend this place to anyone, great service by Rebecca and a great property - all round excellent stay! Thank you 🙏

En fantastisk fin leilighet i et rolig og flott område. Sentralt. Koselig overraskelse ventet i leiligheten. Hun svarte raskt og det satte vi stor pris på. Sengene var litt fastere enn jeg liker, men jeg sov godt.
