Christine’s place was the perfect get-away for a family vacation close to home. The lake was beautiful and the place was spotless and inviting. It felt like you walked in to your own home. It’s close to places to eat and there is even a community space just a few houses down that is lively if the weather is nice. I’m hoping to come back again!

Our host was extremely tentative and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay at the home. It was big enough to accommodate our family plus a few other visitors, plenty of beds, plenty of living space so people didn’t have to be on top of each other. Very close to downtown and the blue line which made going to the airport and downtown much more accessible. we didn’t even have to rent a car.

Stephen was a welcoming host and the cabin was exactly as described. The location is secluded and quiet, but you’re also close to groceries, restaurants and fun antique stores. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking meals, and the fireplace is cozy and perfect for relaxing. Even with snow on the ground we enjoyed strolling around the property down to the lake. A wonderful stay, we’d love to visit again.

We had a wonderful stay at Bryan and Barb’s place! Amazing host, easy to communicate with, had everything you would possibly need, and squeaky clean space - a great stay forsure. Having a dedicate garage space was a plus. Great location and so close to the blue line. Wish we were able to stay longer than two nights! Thank you again Bryan and Barb for being such wonderful hosts :-) highly recommend.

This place was extremely great! It was close to downtown and lots of restaurants and food near by the bnb! Only thing I’ll say is the shower head is kind of flimsy but besides that everything is nice clean and the rooms are huge! Very peaceful and quiet over there!

We loved our stay! The place was really cute and clean. Eric was very responsive and we also appreciated that a couple of food items were left for us.

Kyle's apartment was a visual feast, with fun and eclectic decor, furniture, and artwork! The listing states some quirks, which was accurate, but nothing that diminished the quality of our stay (for our family of 3). We didn't have a long enough stay to enjoy the full kitchen and dining table much, but would be a well-supplied kitchen for preparing full meals. The shower had some quirks but luckily Kyle even prepared a Youtube video to show and describe exactly how to turn on the shower. Part of the quirks of an older apartment building is radiator heating, which gives some 'clanking' and other annoying noises at times, so if you're noise-sensitive that's something to keep in mind. Kyle's local guidebook was helpful (unfortunately too long of waits at the places we had hoped to try) but found other options in the area for dinner. Our family of 3 had plenty of space for sleeping and lounging. This is a really cute space in a great location and a good close to downtown spot.

Jamie’s place was a perfect spot to stay in Chicago. There is access to the L within a few miles (with parking structure), and there are many walkable places locally. We highly recommend Caesar Pierogis on West Irving (offers gluten free pierogis). The neighborhood is charming and safe for walking. After long days of exploring, we came back to Jamie’s place and enjoyed watching Netflix and relaxing in the living room. The kitchen is stocked with utensils, and there is a grocery store within walking distance. Jamie is a very thoughtful host, and her home is quite accommodating. We had a lovely get away. This home in Chicago was exactly as advertised. Perfect for a girl's weekend in Chicago. Plenty of space for sleeping, large bathrooms with plenty of mirrors to get ready. The house was well stocked with everything we needed for a perfect weekend. The location was great too. was able to walk to bars and restaurants or take short Uber anywhere we needed to go. Having off street parking made it even better for out of towners who drove to the destination. I would definitely book again when traveling with a large group.

Had a great stay at Steve's place with my friend and our 2 dogs. Nice quiet neighborhood.

The location is really well suited for walking around the Logan Square neighborhood. The apartment was very clean and exactly as you see in photos. It’s right by a park too if you happen to have a dog. The hosts did a great job with communicating instructions (they also have the cutest pup). Overall I would highly recommend a stay here if you’re looking for a nice and traditional Chicago brownstone Airbnb.

This was a very spacious and clean apartment that comfortably hosted our family of 6 for several days. Having two separate living areas was very useful and allowed our group to spread out a bit. The full-size crib in the extension area off the master bedroom was also much appreciated as we had a 2-year-old with us. The building is on a quiet street just one block from Humboldt Park and two blocks from restaurants and shops on North Avenue. There was a grocery store within 2 blocks. Dubbs was a very responsive host, and we appreciate his flexibility with checkout time. We would happily stay here again.

Afsha’s place was a great base for our family trip to Chicago. The home is clean and well maintained. The off-street paring spot is a great bonus. Afsha is a great communicator and host. We hope to stay again on a future visit.

Great weekend for our 25th reunion. We were 8 adults. Enjoyed the spacious dining room. Kitchen was well stocked. We hope to spend our next reunion weekend back at the house!

We loved our stay here! The apartment is much more spacious than we were expecting and there was more than enough storage space for our luggage. We were disappointed a bit at the poor quality of the beds but appreciated the thoughtfulness of the noise machines to aid in good sleep in the middle of the city. We would absolutely stay here again!

Absolutely loved staying at Sylvia's! The camper is very conveniently located within the park - close to all the amenities and activities! Easy to access, beautiful grounds and a very peaceful stay for my family and I.

Beautiful and eclectic home. It was perfect for our group of girls visiting from all over the U.S to attend our HS Reunion. Plenty of lovely spaces to gather or a private, quiet nook to read or rest. The pool was wonderful. Beds were super comfortable. Kitchen was large enough and well stocked to prepare meals. Andy was very responsive with any issues or questions. Highly recommend!

We recently stayed at the KOA Campground Northwest Chicago as a traveling family of three (plus a small dog), and we couldn't be happier with the experience. The campground itself is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Our cabin was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
