The pictures can’t do the huge, beautiful terrasse justice enough - it’s simply the most amazing view of Noto and Domenico was so kind and picked me up from the bus stop and drove me right to the apartment. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Salvatore is a reliable host. He was flexible when we needed an extra night due to changes in flight schedules and he offered us the possibility to store our baggage in the apartment for a few hours after check-out. We spent a lovely 10 days in Syracuse and enjoyed the views form the balcony.

Appartamento situato proprio al centro di Ortigia comodo a tutti i servizi(supermercati negozi ecc..) adatto per ragazzi che cercano il movimento(Ortigia è ricca di locali) sia per famiglie per fare anche alla sera una bella passeggiata in centro (che ne vale la pena.) L'appartamento è spazioso l'abbiamo trovato pulito e ben dotato per quanto riguarda asciugamani,lenzuola ecc non manca nulla. Non ho avuto modo di conoscere Carmelo ma si viene accolto direttamente dall'host dove ho trovato Lucia, sono due persone disponibili per qualsiasi problema, gentili cordiali sempre a disposizione pronti ad offrirti il miglior servizio. E se avete bisogno di consigli su cosa visitare, dove andare al mare o qualsiasi cosa Lucia saprà bene come potervi aiutare. Detto ciò non mi dilungo troppo ma se dovessi tornare in Sicilia sceglierei loro quindi ve li consiglio al 100 %. Dimenticavo l'appartamento ha una bellissima terrazza fresca dove si gode di un bellissimo panorama.

We stayed here for five days and had a superb time. The apartment is in a great location, very close to the beach and lots of restaurants. It had very good air conditioning and good self catering facilities as well. We would definitely return!

We were thrilled to have spent a few days at Alessandra’s place. It’s proven to be a great idea to opt w Ortigia to within Syracuse, lots to see, walkable, amazing architecture, mini beaches around. This specific house has been great as it’s east facing that seemed a bit more quiet side of Ortigia, through the windows you overlook the sea and a cute square. We enjoyed just taking short coffee breaks across the street by the water. 🌊 The space is perfect for 2 ppl equipped w all we needed even for eating in and cooking some basic things. Coming by car, accessing the island and parking needs some attention, but nothing you couldn’t fix and Alessandra has been a great helping hand here w hints.

Wir hatten als Familie mit 2 Kindern einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in der Wohnung. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und alles war wie auf den Bildern beschrieben. Die Terrasse zum Meer ist wirklich ein Traum. Toller Sonnenaufgang jeden Morgen. Trotz der ruhigen Lage sehr zentral zum Ortskern mit allen Restaurants und die tollen Strände in nahegelegenen Naturschutzgebiet sind auch nicht weit mit dem Auto (10-15min). Wir können die Wohnung sehr empfehlen, sie hat unseren Sizilienaufenthalt bereichert!

La nostra esperienza da Alessandra è stata davvero impeccabile. La casa era pulita e identica alle foto fornite dalla nostra host. Non c’è l’aria condizionata ma la casa è comunque fresca ed arieggiata grazie alle pale situate nelle camere e il mare e in soggiorno che sono davvero funzionali. La vista dalla terrazza è impagabile, ci sono gli sdraio e il tavolo esterno per godersi a pieno la strepitosa vista sul mare e sull’Etna. La posizione è perfetta, in 45-60 minuti si arriva nei luoghi di maggior interesse; l’auto si può parcheggiare nel posto privato davanti alla casa. Alessandra è sempre stata disponibile e cortese fino al punto di farci trovare una piccola spesa. Se dovessi trovare un aspetto negativo sarebbe l’accesso al mare sotto casa, poco agibile e solo su piattaforme di sasso dove l’acqua è subito molto alta, con pochi chilometri però sono raggiungibili le spiagge limitrofe… Abbiamo portato a casa un bellissimo ricordo dei giorni passati da Alessandra.

We had a great week in Roberta's place. The balcony is a lovely spot for breakfast in the sunshine (in March!), with a wonderful view of the small boats in the harbour. The flat is large, elegant and eclectic. All the facilities worked well (washing machine was particularly useful). There's lots do to and see within walking distance and we had a great time exploring Syracuse and Ortygia. Thank you!

This place is a hidden gem! It is in front of the beautiful sea. The outdoor area is so well equipped. Our young children loved it here (2,4 and 10 years old). The pool was also a nice feature and larger than on photo. The house itself was very clean and spotless. Everything and more you want is in the house. It felt very laid back and spacious. The bedrooms were also large and spacious. Enough closet space in every room, and the beds were awesome! Also, so so nice to have: every room had an outside space area, and the two master bedrooms were superb, the ocean view is unbeatable every moment of the day. The terrace on the topfloor was sublime and such a nice chill area with the outdoor furniture. The restaurants in the area: deliciously good. We went to the restaurant right across the street, and in the marina and in the square of the city centre. Also the best icecream of all villages and cities we visited was definitely Don Peppinu in this village Marina di Ragusa. Highly recommend!

Vincenzo and his wife were extremely kind and helpful throughout the entire stay. They welcomed me as a friend and took good care of their Airbnb. The home has a modern amenities and plenty of space to park a car. The area around Gallina has a lot of swimming options and the house is a few minutes to the highway if you want to go north to Catania or Siracusa or south to Modica and Scicli.

Great view and perfect place to stay for adventures on the island. It’s cosy and has all the facilities you need. Recommendation!

Walter was great! He was super communicative and helpful, getting me whatever I needed whenever I asked. He was also super welcoming, hosting me for dinner on my second night. I extended my stay by two nights because I enjoyed my stay so much. If I ever come back to Avola, I would stay here again.

Mit Francescas Haus am Meer haben wir den Ort gefunden, von dem wir nicht wussten, dass wir ihn gesucht haben. Die Lage ist wunderschön, wenige Meter zu Fuß zum menschenleeren Strand, ruhig und abgelegen auf einem wunderschönen naturnahen Grundstück. Es waren keine anderen Gäste in den benachbarten Unterkünften, dennoch haben wir uns auch Abends sicher in diesem hübschen Kleinod gefühlt. Die Kamera und das verschließbare Tor haben dazu beigetragen. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet, klar, geschmackvoll und gemütlich. Es war super sauber, hat angenehm gerochen. Neben den üblichen Haushalts- und Gebrauchgegenständen waren Pflegeprodukte, Strandzubehör und Getränke vorhanden. Das I-Tüpfelchen in der Küche war das fantastische, lokale Olivenöl. Wir waren in der kühleren Jahreszeit da und dank der Klimaanlage war es Abends mollig warm. Das absolute Highlight neben der wirklich außergewöhnlichen schönen Unterkunft ist Francesca, die uns mit köstlichen Speisen super herzlich empfangen hat.

wir hatten ein paar Schwierigkeiten die Unterkunft zu finden, aber kein Drama. Die Unterkunft liegt in einer kleinen Siedlung und ist entsprechend ruhig. Für Restaurants und Supermarkt benötigt man das Auto. ein kleiner gratis Strand ist zu Fuß erreichbar und war schön und recht sauber und bietet viele Muscheln zu sammeln. kommen gerne wieder

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in Aldos Strandhaus. Anfang Oktober hatten wir den Strand, der direkt vor dem Haus beginnt, häufig ganz für uns allein! Die Lage ist wirklich einmalig. Der Einstieg ist flach, der Sand weich und das Wasser kristallklar. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants liegen in 10 bis 15 min Autofahrt entfernt. Wir haben mehrere Ausflüge gemacht nach Syrakus, Noto, Marzamemi und mit unseren zwei Jungs natürlich auch zum Ätna! Alles empfehlenswert! Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht, der Empfang und die Betreuung durch Salvatore und seine Frau war sehr herzlich, die Kommunikation, auch mit Aldo, einwandfrei! Insgesamt können wir einen Urlaub in Aldos Haus nur wärmstens empfehlen!

We had an awesome stay at this Airbnb in Avola! The apartment was super clean and just a short walk from the beach. Paolo, the host, was really friendly, helpful, and always respectful. Everything went super smoothly – would totally recommend staying here!

Wij hebben met z’n tweeën de maand januari in dit authentieke pand gewoond en het was helemaal naar onze zin. Prachtige plek aan een pleintje, rustig gelegen, met een mooi uitzicht vanaf het balkon. De badkamer is klein en basic, maar de woonkamer en slaapkamer zijn groot, en het bed is perfect. Het appartement is in de winter goed te verwarmen. De communicatie met Giuseppe en Aurora verliep uitstekend, ze waren heel behulpzaam en reageerden snel. Zeker een appartement om terug te komen!

Marcella is a warm and responsive host. She allowed us to check in very early and her place was clean and comfortable with a lovely view.

Erste Häuserreihe am Meer. Kleiner Mini-Sandstrand und Treppe 20 m entfernt. Ideal für Meerliebhaber. Wunderschöne, grosszügige Veranda (wenn man steht, sieht man das Meer). Kleine 1-Zimmerwohnung mit Kochnische; ideal für Frühstück und kleine Mahlzeiten. Bei schönem Wetter eine super Wohnung. Ideal um Ortegia/Syrakus/Noto zu besuchen. Für alles (Restaurant/Einkaufen/Ausflüge) ist ein Auto nötig. Robin war sehr engagiert, einem gute Tipps zu geben. Wir genossen ruhige Tage mit viel Baden und Kurzausflügen nach Ortigia.

The position is amazing. Overlooking the sea on the most beautiful stretch. Quintessential Origia!

Miriam and her mom waited for us on the street as we arrived, then welcomed us into the apartment they called "home." And indeed, it felt like a true home—beautifully decorated, comfortable, and fully equipped for guests, down to a sewing kit with various threads. On the dining table, there was a bottle of wine, and a pack of handmade Italian cookies. The fridge was stocked with juice, beer, milk, and water, and they had provided a variety of teas, both regular and decaf espressos. The location was perfect, in an ancient building near attractions. The stunning blue sea was just steps away, where we could sit at a relaxed restaurant table and watch the mesmerizing sunset. Miriam took my husband to park our rental car and brought him back. When we checked out, her father did the same. She sent us plenty of information about everything, her meticulous care surprised us again and again. In fact, her entire family shares the same warmth and care—they are all incredibly kind and attentive.

Fantastic apartment at the centre of Ortigia. From the bedrooms to the kitchen and bathroom, everything was very clean, very comfortable, very convenient. Wonderful view from the terrace upstairs. We were in touch with Rosy (Leandro's mother) who most helpful and always reactive. We loved our stay there and would recommend it to anyone. Just keep in mind that there are rather steep stairs to access first the apartment's first floor, then its top floor and terrace (not suited for PMR).

Maria Teresa was amazing. She had so much information about sites, restaurants, tips etc for us to do, all printed out. A very well appointed apartment with all the little extras. Easy to return to when you need a break. Maria Teresa is an extremely good host and lovely lady .
