Well, what can I say other than wow! Our time here was truly wonderful! Jim and Susan are the most lovely, warm and welcoming hosts. The cottage was absolutely beautiful! The pictures really don't do it justice and show how spacious it actually is. I couldn't stop taking pictures! I even had to video call my family and friends to show them how beautiful it was. Susan had also provided a delicious array of (top quality) goodies; which we didn't expect but were ever so grateful for. You can tell how much pride she takes and that she wants you to feel welcome. it was above and beyond. The beds were extremely comfortable, I had the best night's sleep I think I've had in years, there's also a little stream running behind the cottage which helped me drift off. Absolutely amazing location, with lovely restaurants, cafe's, views, walks, the Roman army Museum (with a lovely lake and walk just over the bridge on your right), Vindolanda, we also did a tour of Northumbria honey co Haltwhistle.

Absolutely stunning place! From outside - the beautiful, natural surroundings to the inside, stunning high end and luxurious decor. Nicola has thought of absolutely everything! We had everything we needed and more. Nicola was really responsive, friendly, and recommended local walks. Even gave us some extra supplies after a muddy day out! Would definitely stay again! My family and I had an amazing stay at Ralph’s cabin near Penrith! Ralph was a fantastic host with excellent communication, even offering to adjust the heating for us remotely, which was so thoughtful. The cabin was cozy with nice, comfy beds, and the kids were thrilled with the selection of games available. We even spotted wild rabbits outside the bedroom window, which was a special treat! The location is ideal, close to Keswick, making it easy to explore the area. Highly recommend for a relaxing family getaway.

We very much enjoyed our time at the Teapot Cottage. The cottage was clean, modern and well decorated, and very close to the stunning Ennerdale Lake. We were impressed by the welcome basket, which was full of local cakes and breads! Though we didn’t use the pizza oven or barbecue, we did brave the hot tub (in December!) and it was well worth it. The cottage had everything we needed, and had a real cosy feel that was perfect for a Christmas break. We did have some issues with noise coming from the rental next door, however this was just bad luck. Lamissa was also very responsive and proactive, and did everything she could to address this. Overall, the Teapot Cottage is the perfect place if you are looking for a relaxing break (with a little bit of luxury!). We would definitely come back.

We couldn’t have asked for more from a host. Tina was incredibly thoughtful and very responsive throughout. Her communication was helpful and clear. Tina’s place was both comfortable and clean, providing an ideal set up and location for our family getaway. We were impressed with Tina’s consideration of the needs of our mixed group and the provision of essentials and equipment at the property. Thank you Tina - what a wonderful host, you really had thought of every detail!

We absolutely loved our Christmas at Seaglass Cottage. The hosts were great, answered any questions, gave us detailed instructions for check-in and even put up a Christmas tree and decorations for us. We were very lucky with the weather, enjoying walks along the beach right outside, we even found some seaglass (we felt like children!). The property was very clean, the bedding smelled so fresh, the kitchen had everything you might need, very clean bathroom and handy downstairs loo. Every evening we would sit in the cosy conservatory enjoying a glass of wine, watching the sun go down, people walking along the beachpath with their dogs and then into the lounge for a real log fire. It was perfect and we can't wait to return!
