The property is beautiful but Billy and Gill made our stay extra special. They couldn’t do enough to help us feel at home. The apartment was clean, spacious, warm, safe, cosy and exactly as described. There is a large lounge to relax in with a great range of DVDS, games and books. We also had access to the games room which our boys were intrigued by and found a lovely Pinocchio book, Disney jigsaw puzzle and had a little go on the snooker table. But the stand out was the garden with treehouse, trampoline and ride on toys - our boys were obsessed - it was all perfect for our needs. Nice little extra touches were the welcome treats on arrival for both us and our kids and a bottle milk in the fridge. Billy and Gill always had time to talk and make sure everything was okay for us. I had a treatment with Gill which was amazing and would definitely recommend. Already planning our next trip at Stonelea House - thank you again for letting us stay in your lovely home.

East Gate Lodge was the perfect choice for us. The grounds of Dunalastair Estate were perfect for this group of birders. If you don't plan on cooking dinners, you may want to plan your meals carefully. We were out and about many days and had a bit of scrambling to figure out what to do for dinner. The property was just as described with anything you could need.

Stunning place , we had an amazing time , and did a couple of activities. The grandchildren and children loved the maze the lock , the boat ! Magical memories! Thank you to all the lovely staff too ! Xx

Scone Palace is just an amazing place to stay. Richard is the perfect host. Professional and friendly. We had a private tour of the Palace which made our whole trip feel special. The accommodation has the wow factor. The Palace is the most beautiful place to stay. It was lovely to walk around the grounds and it’s a beautifully kept estate. All the staff we met, at the cafe , the shop were friendly. The whole experience was just a joy. Thank you so much Stephen .

Fantastic place to stay, beautiful surroundings, very welcoming. excellent optional tour of the castle itself which was well worth the small charge. although an old building we were comfortable and warm, extremely comfortable bed, a bit too comfortable, I slept alot. amazing bathroom facilities with heated flooring. Outstanding value for money.

Had an incredible time! Not only was this stay better than the photos, but it was a steal for the cost! Soo enjoyed the privacy and natural beauty at Bamff, extensive wildness and species, and access to the Cairngorms and Highlands. Definitely recommend for a perfect cozy Scottish getaway!

Lovely flat in one of the wing of a beautiful castle. The flat is very spacious , with beautiful views in a very quiet place. lovley to start some nice walks. The Isle of Mull has a lot on offer: standing stones, cafes, distillery, a munro to climb and beautiful beaches. so no time to get bored! I'd thoroughly recommend this accommodation. Thank you!

I had an extraordinary stay at this old converted abbey right in front of Loch Ness! The castle is stunning, with a perfect blend of historic charm and modern comforts. Waking up to the breathtaking views of Loch Ness every morning was an unforgettable experience. The property was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed. The host was wonderful, providing great tips and ensuring our stay was perfect. I highly recommend this unique and enchanting property for an unforgettable getaway. Every penny worth the stay strong recommend !

We could not be more pleased with our stay. The home was beautiful, and Takki was the perfect host. The location was central enough for plenty of fun days out within a short drive while still feeling private and peaceful when at the house. We spent each night playing board games with the kids surrounded by the beautiful autumn leaves and views of the water. We would definitely stay again if we adventure back to the area.

11 friends stayed at Kinclune House for 3 nights as a wee festive get together. The house was amazing and is in the most beautiful peaceful surroundings. The house as well equipped and there was everything we needed for our stay! The house is huge and there was more than enough space for all of us with lots of different rooms to chill in and lots of board games to choose from! Aylwin was always very responsive to any questions we had and we are hoping to return again next year ☺️

Overall, our stay in Belfast with Dora and Brendan was wonderful. Very cosy facilities, comfortable bed and modern appliances with the added bonus of a swimspa, hot tub and smoke house. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive and went over an above to assist us when we had some personal issues arise. The space is small but comfortable - but important to note would only really suit a couple as there is no kitchen sink, small bathroom and small mini-fridge. Would highly recommend.

Wir haben uns direkt wohlgefühlt. Am Anfang war es etwas mulmig in einem Castle zu Wohnen Aber alles sehr schön.Sehr sauber und alles mit Liebe gemacht.Morgens wird man vom Hahn 🐓 geweckt 😉 Waren mit 7 Personen dort. Kein Telefon Empfang dafür aber WLAN zum Planen der Touren. Ein Ort mitten in der Natur sehr schön Ruhe Entspannung . Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt 😀

The apartment was perfect: luxurious yet cosy, very well appointed and in the best location, overlooking Loch Ness. The surroundings are breathtaking, we walked part of the South Loch Ness Trail and the Great Glenn Way, both well signposted and well maintained. It was a great short holiday, many thanks.

Doing a family tour of Scotland with 10 (& 1/2) members, we were looking for an authentic Scottish experience when we found Craigston Castle. Craigston was immensely impressionable for all of us, from the warm greeting at the door to the sharing of the Urquhart family history, we felt at home immediately after opening the car door to enter through the grand foyer. Our host was far more attentive than what we are used to on our stays & should merit a separate very lengthy review ,5 stars of course. So much to do on the grounds, & i wish we had more time to completely canvas the whole estate. I feel we all got a good idea of the daily life of the earlier Scotsmen (aside from the updated plumbing). We were all amazed at simply having dinner in the same rooms as the early Urquharts & associates . I can't really explain in this short review what we all received from this short stay, but i guarantee none of us will ever forget it. Experience of a lifetime. Thank you for having us.

Amazing place on Loch Ness, and perfect to explore the Scottish Highlands. Spacious apartment with modern kitchen/bathroom, but beautiful and unique setting in the former Abbey. Highly recommend as a fun and special way to see Scotland!

Our family (of 15) really enjoyed our week at the Kinnettles Mansion. The house far outshines the pictures on the website! Everyone couple loved having their own en suite, and each bedroom was really special with a “castle” feel. We spent some great evenings together in the fireplace room, played games in the dining room, and family video games in the cinema room every night. We even had an evening of learning the Texas two-step in the ballroom:). Conveniently close to St. Andrews and all the amenities there—and to the train stop at Leuchars to pick up people from the airport. Recommended rental cars though. Also, don’t expect the castle to get cozy warm everywhere in the winter. They provide space heaters which keep the bedrooms warm, but in the daytime we needed to move the space heaters to the areas we would gather in. Not a problem—still worth it—and an extra benefit was that it kept the family together:). Great hosts! Very responsive and helpful! We loved our stay!!

An unforgettable stay at this unique place. It was everything we could have hoped for, and we’d highly recommend!

Words cannot describe how incredible this cottage is. With stunning views of the beach and Bamburgh castle from the snug to beautifully decorated interior. We absolutely loved staying at Eight Bells Cottage! Graeme and Grace are fantastic hosts, leaving clear instructions by air b&b chat and a little folder in the cottage with everything we needed to know, including restaurants and some amazing walks. You can really tell the love and proud ownership of this home. The cottage itself is so cosy and super clean! It really felt like home away from home, we settled right in and struggled to decide where to retire for our evenings as everywhere was super snuggly. The pictures don’t do this place justice, we absolutely loved our time here and so sad that we had to come home. We will definitely be making it a habit to return to Eight Bells Cottage.

This place is beautiful. The beds are comfortable and the place is clean. The bedrooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floor with a very thin, small staircase. Parking is convenient in front of the building. The location is very remote, with nothing in walking distance and difficult to get to/from the town, which I wish I had known prior to booking. However, we made the most of it and the house itself is beautiful and matches the photos.
