Very nice place, newly renovated with modern comfortable furnishings, nice cabinetry and appliances, great wi-fi and smart TV, all of which made us feel right at home. Very clean and bright throughout with tons of natural light. Parking area is large and level, with room for multiple cars. Karen and Tim responded quickly and were super accommodating to our needs. So happy to find this gem of a place in a beautiful area and just a short drive to many great hiking areas in Big South Fork.

I love this place. It’s such a peaceful escape. We’ve been back many times, and we’d like to come many more. This time I hiked over to Gentleman’s Swimming Hole - it’s a great hike through the neighborhood to the trailhead. The neighbor dogs mentioned in the listing were very friendly and they mercifully stayed away once they realized we had dogs so we didn’t have to worry about them possibly not getting along. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook a fancy meal. It’s was a perfectly peaceful and beautiful stay!

The Carter’s were top notch. They went above and beyond. The house was available early on check in day, they checked in with us throughout the stay. We left an item, they are going to mail it to us. I would 100 % recommend them and stay with them again

I have stayed on the plateau in several Airbnbs for hiking trips and none of them hold a candle Kimberly’s place. It is extremely comfortable and has everything you need with outstanding hiking nearby. The breakfast Kimberly made us was delicious and she even made us a pie! We will be back for sure.

We had a great trip! This place is so beautiful! The yard and the porch and the deck were so beautiful!!! It was such a great place to unwind and get away from all the noise of how busy life gets. Sitting on the porch with beautiful surroundings was so relaxing!!! Close to many beautiful hikes. I would recommend big south fork national recreation area very cool place with these amazing arches to hike to in Tennessee and in Kentucky and both where close to the house. We ate at Preston’s stark house that is also close and really good! I would definitely recommend this to families couples and a few friends wanting to get away. Our host was awesome and kept us informed!!!

Loved staying here. The location was perfect to the Brimstone office and trails. We love Brimstone and this became part of our new place to stay! ONLY thing I could complain about is the parking for trucks and trailers is super tight and not really enough room. So if you have a big group or hauling multiple rzrs plan accordingly! A lot of our guys had to park in the overflow parking by the campground.

Debra was very responsive to any questions I had. The cabin was in a perfect location to access Brimstone for riding our side by sides and very comfortable!! I would highly recommend any of there accommodations!! We loved the entire stay and will definitely book again!!

Very close to the trails. Parking is very accessible for trailers. The room stayed warm even with it getting under 20 outside. Great stay.

I traveled all the way from Maine to the cabin. I was in town for a local truck event and thankfully the cabin was SUPER close by. It was very easy to find with the directions they provided. Unfortunately I was at the show most of my stay but I thankfully did get to enjoy the hot tub!! When I arrived after my 18+ hour drive it was all up and running ready to enjoy that was a HUGE bonus! The house was extremely clean and had everything I needed. I reached out to see if I was able to use the hose to wash my truck and they were very accommodating with that which saved me a huge headache of finding a car wash LOL there is talk of another event in the fall, I know where I’ll be staying again!!

Amazing place to stay in such a great area. The cabin & amenities were very nice. Pictures don’t do it justice. Host was very helpful and great with communication. Highly recommend staying here on your next trip!

Great place to get away. The horses were amazing and the views are breath taking in the morning. The cabin was so cozy and perfect for us and our pups.

This stay was amazing. Pictures do not do this beautiful cabin justice! Karin and Bruce truly went above and beyond in every area. Whether it was the firewood they left out for us, or them letting us use their backyard for our dogs to get some energy out, they were extremely accommodating and friendly. The pool/hot tub was a lovely way to round out our evening at this cabin as well. We were so impressed by every aspect! Hope to be back soon!
