Lovely clean home with comfortable bed. Nice spacious rooms. Would recommend the place to anyone. Bus stop conveniently just around the corner with frequent rides in and out of Edinburgh city centre for just £2 each way. Home is located to plenty of shops and restaurants just over the bridge as well as a gym. Lots of nice touches around the house. I have 5 starred everything

After reading so many glowing reviews I had expected the Studio to fail to live up to expectations. But no - it exceeded them! This is a superlative place. Georgina and Alaister have taken what we might expect from holiday accommodation and exceeded it over and over again. Everything - from the carpet to the pictures on the walls, the kitchen equipment to the bedlinen and even the comfy chairs to the loo paper - is a notch or two better than they could have got away with. We couldn't imagine any way it could be improved (though it's only fair to warn you that the stairs could be a problem for the seriously infirm). Oh yes . . . And Eyemouth is a pretty special place too!

An excellent place. The house is extremely tidy, comfortable and cozy. The location is quiet and is a 5 minute drive from St. Abbs. Shona was an excellent host, always giving very clear and helpful instructions as well as leaving lots of information available for our trip. Highly recommend!

Laura was exceptionally lovely and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The place was impeccably clean and tidy, creating a welcoming atmosphere. We also had a wonderful dinner at a nearby restaurant, which added to the overall experience

Felt right at home at The Crows Nest. Loved this house which was bright, welcoming and tastefully decorated. It was perfectly located in the middle of Eyemouth with both sea and town views. Would highly recommend this place 👌

The flat is great. Very luxurious feel. The living room and kitchen really spacious, the views glorious. Brilliantly equipped all over kitchen, games, extension leads, even poop bags. Lots of watery activities with a surfing school as near neighbour. Lots of space inside and out to simply relax. Two minutes to the beach, almost as well equipped as the flat! 15 mins easy cliff walk to the charming St Abbs harbour. Another 5 to the delights of the nature reserve. Two days barely scratched the surface. Hope to return and dive deeper.

Lovely old house with old style furniture. We stayed in winter and were able to use log fires in 3 downstairs rooms. Plenty of wood was provided for this. House was warm despite very cold weather. The one downstairs bedroom was perfect for the elderly man with us. The hot tub was lovely and clean and sheltered. Easy to miss entrance to driveway as there are a few Branxholme properties and Branxholme Knowe is just around a bend. However we spotted it as we overshot and could easily turn back. Good location as in the country but 5 minutes to Hawick and shops. Overall wonderful place to celebrate my birthday and retirement with the family. I would certainly consider returning to this house in the summer and make use of the BBQ and explore the area.

A wonderful, comfortable, spacious and fully equipped home in a fabulously tranquil setting. Was wonderful being so close to the beach and we were even lucky enough to experience a stunning sunrise to end our stay. Kathryn supplied very comprehensive information ahead of check in which meant we had no trouble at all during our stay.

A fantastic property! We stay in many Airbnb’s and we’ve never been so happy with a stay.. very clean and tidy, great facilities and even a few welcome gifts! Emma was very professional and responsive in communications.. everything was perfect! We enjoyed the log burner, for which there were logs, kindling and firelighters ready to go! The hot tub was absolutely amazing.. it has lights that change colour and it was very easy to operate.. it was all ready to use, we loved it in the evenings! Kitchen was well equipped and perfect for self catering, great oven/hob, and spotlessly clean. On that note, we were exceptionally happy with the overall cleanliness of the property! Excellent bed linen, towels for the bathroom, and extra for the hot tub. The location is so peaceful and private, a true countryside gem! I could go on and on!.. Thank you, Emma for such a lovely and enjoyable romantic getaway! We will certainly be back! :)

Super place to stay. We went as as an extended family with three kids under four. The kids had a ball...the garden is ideal and paddling down by the harbour was a great success. The smugglers' tunnell helped! The boys were excited to see a yellow hammer.. a bird i 'd never heard of !! Such a nice feel to the whole area.. must have been good as my daughters ended up doing yoga in the garden. Recommended.

Perfect place for a family reunion at Christmas - 6 adults could have been a squeeze but we all fitted in very comfortably. Simon and Audrey had put up and decorated a Christmas tree, and left us a big welcome hamper and 2 bottles of fizz, plus extra biscuits and sweets - never had that welcome from a host before!! Amazing. The kitchen was small but extremely well equipped and we had no problem cooking the full roast and trimmings on Christmas day for the 6 of us. Bedrooms were spacious, especially the one downstairs. The house was also warm. One of the best bits about the cottage is its location, just a short walk from the Coast Path, and with off road paths to Coldingham and to St Abbs National Nature Reserve. In the reserve we saw lots of Common Seals with pups surprisingly close.

Booked to stay here last minute with my young son and we loved every second of our time here. The caravan had everything we needed and more. The location was ideal and we also managed to fit in a quick trip up to Edinburgh. We would definitely book again for a longer stay. Thanks

Really great place to stay. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Spacious and clean. Lovely village in a beautiful area. Local walks and beach, and great places to visit just a short drive away.

A lovely spacious apartment right on the harbour. Lovely accommodation and plenty of space for us andcout teenage children. Great to watch the harbour comings and going including the seals. Plenty of eating options nearby and a good base for the area. The apartment had everything we needed and more. Thank you!

A fantastic ‘garage’! Very clean, tidy and fresh. Everything provided that you need for a lovely, comfortable stay. It’s situated in a lovely, quiet neighbourhood. Jamie was very friendly and extremely helpful! Only a 20-25 minute walk to the beach at Portobello. A fantastic find and highly recommend it and we will definitely stay again. 😊

I spent nearly four months in Wendy's accommodation. I had a great time there! The apartment itself offers great views, and the room is very comfortable. It is easily accessible by bus and has a good connection to the city centre and main University Campus, as well as being close to a big supermarket and the beach. Being on the outskirts of the city and by the sea, it made it very easy to find peace, walking along the beach or visiting my personal favourite place, Newhailes Estate. For those coming to study here: the bus connection to the University of Edinburgh's King's Buildings is not great, especially on the way back, and if you'll have to be there a lot I'd recommend getting a bicycle, which is about twice as fast. Wendy is a very friendly host, who is usually not home during the day but if you run into her and she has time she will be open for a chat - for example sharing stories or music. She loves baking, and might leave something she made in the fridge for you!

Very efficient flat, tucked away in a cozy neighborhood near a park and close to wherever you need to go. Tawera was very accommodating and the whole trip was made easy

15 min away from town centre, local transportation available from the nearest bus stop just 2 min walk , like the accommodation , friendly host, clean and tidy .
