My best friend and I rented the place to celebrate our birthday with some beautiful countryside and a hot tub, it really exceeded our expectations. We had issues turning the hot tub on and off again but in terms of using it was perfect. All the amenities were in great working order and beds were very comfortable. Would recommend for families as well with the massive garden and barbecue:)

This cottage was in a lovely quiet little village just a 3 minute walk to the main town. I could not fault this accommodation! It was beautiful done out and even had a hot tub for an extra bonus. The hosts were second to none and they made you feel at home. They recommended local places to eat and things to do. If you had any problems, they were happy to help! The accommodation was literally a 10 minute walk to Loch leven and it's so peaceful. All the locals were very friendly and you've got to try the fish shop and stove pizzas! Super logement , cocooning comme nous le souhaitions! Accès à Édimbourg relativement rapide. Attention aux instructions d’entrée, car le tri sélectif en Écosse n’est pas le même que le nôtre en France .. beaucoup plus poussé ce qui est un bon point pour l’environnement . J’ai fais par réflexe comme en France ce qui m’a value à juste titre un message D’Ali . Si je devais repartir en Écosse sans hésitation je reprendrais le même logement .. le SPA avec vue c’est un bonheur!

We booked a weekend at Braeside for a wee break away & it couldn't have been better! Homely space in a nice rural location with the added bonus of having a hot tub (we were lucky enough to have two clear nights to soak under a beautiful starry sky with plenty to shooting stars to be seen). The cottage was comfy, clean & had everything we needed, thankyou Vivienne for having us!

Excellent stay at Helen’s cottage, so peaceful and very homely. Games room and hot tub are excellent. Would definitely stay again 🙂

A gorgeous place to stay, really enjoyed our visit and would definitely return in summer time! Should be made aware of the road to the cottage as it’s made for bigger cars on a dirt road. Our smaller cars scraped along, could damage underneath car and not great for your tyres but apart from that it was excellent. We were able to get a late check out which was appreciated as with late check-in and early check-out you only really get 1 full day if staying for the weekend. Lovely hosts and very spacious cottages😁would happily return!

Would just like to say thank you for my stay me and my family loved it spicily the love for cars and stuff cars what was clear throw out the house as someone who’s into cars my self 10/10 for that one small thing can be tricky to get parked sometimes tho that has nothing to do with host just the street but 100% does not affect the stay just to be mindful other than that 10/10 we place really is thank you so much will be back again!!!

Had a great overnight stay. Very helpful and clear instructions given. All the little extras thought of. Wish I wasn’t needing to push on or I would’ve happily stayed another night.

Brett was very responsive and really friendly. Her cottage was perfect and very cosy and a stones throw from the beach which our 3 hairy babies loved. We had everything we needed and the perfect weather was a bonus. Would definitely love to come back here - it’s so peaceful- thank you for our amazing stay

Fantastic stay at Boot cottage, great location to explore around the area including Dunkeld, Pitlochry and Dundee. Some lovely and thoughtful touches when we arrived too for us and our dog Lottie. Would definitely recommend!

Great place with fantastic equipment and set up, good kitchen and social spaces, overall spot in but worth noting it is quite close to the railway line, not a huge issue as it's quite a quiet line. Overall great.

After a week of driving it was lovely to step into the cottage and feel immediately at home. Beautifully furnished and so cosy with the log fire - interesting artwork and books, well equipped kitchen and super comfy bed. Really appreciated the radio too. Lauren was super helpful and friendly and it was lovely to meet her. We had a fantastic Sunday lunch in The Old Bridge Inn (make sure to book as we saw a lot of people being turned away). Our only regret is that we didn't book for longer - will definitely be back. Thank you Lauren and Cat.

Had a great time, Laura and family were very helpful with a minor hiccup one evening. Great venue family loved it. Good location for day trips including Loch Lomond and Royal Yacht.

Have stayed in cottage several times, love it. Had a great catch up with old workmates in very cosy setting.

BEAUTIFUL We booked this place for our anniversary and we certainly weren't disappointed. This is the first airbnb that we didn't want to leave, we absolutely loved it and even more special for us to be able to take our pooches with us. The house is beautifully decorated and well equipped. The location is just stunning and private. Well maintained garden which is also secure for dogs. Opinon beach is walking distance from the house and we ventured to Redpoint beach which is just breath taking. We loved this place so much that we've booked to come back for my birthday in September.

Great place for a long weekend. good base for visiting the area. Paul was very helpful with check in flexibility etc and generally with all information. even an odd random question I sent him about the wooden frames on the ceilings 🤣🤣 very quick at replying too

Jill was a fantastic host and really made our stay perfect. I had a number of questions before arriving at the cottage which she answered promptly! The cottage is lovely inside, super clean and kitted out with everything we needed. There’s a lovely window seat and table that overlooks the quarry - the perfect reading and writing nook! As the island has no cars on it we made sure to bring what we needed (groceries) with us, but after realising we left an essential item behind (and the last ferry of the day had gone) Jill was incredible, going out her way to help - along with Allan who lives on the island. It saved our trip and also just made us feeling very looked after to know there were people around who could help! We wandered round the islands, went for a quick dip in the swimming quarry, had hot chocolate in the puffer and overall had a wonderful weekend winding down. Would highly recommend!

Stayed for 3 nights with my dog. Holmhead exceeded my expectations and I felt instantly at home. The location is superb and perfect for exploring the Cairngorms or even just stepping outside the front door and being in the forest. The cottage is extremely well equipped for its size and I found a few things, for guests use, that I wasn't quite expecting, (hot water bottles :) ). The brand new electric heating is very effective and the log burner is 'ferocious', but definitely a must when temperatures were below freezing. Cat is a very gracious, accommodating and genial host. I would definitely stay here again and recommend thoroughly.

We had a wonderful stay at this house! It was spacious, very cozy, and exceptionally clean. The house was fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. There were plenty of clean towels, a variety of cookware for preparing meals, and even a selection of spices. A special thank you to the hosts for the lovely gift basket, it was such a thoughtful touch and made us feel truly welcomed. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be coming back!

We had a lovely stay at this gorgeous cottage. It was extremely clean, very well equipped and situated in a quiet location. The enclosed garden was ideal for our dogs. It's perfect for couples looking to explore the many trails on offer in the Cairngorms. Couldn't recommend it enough!

Cozy seaside cottage, the views are even more stunning than the pictures. Good driving distance from most Isle of Skye activities and destinations. Wake up to a beautiful sunrise or a breathtaking layer of fog and the sheep grazing. The cottage was homey and comfortable. Had a dishwasher, washer/dryer, reliable wifi, and all the needed amenities.
