One of the best Airbnb experiences I have had no doubt! The host is amazing and they go out of their way to make your stay at their home as comfortable and seamless as possible. They had homemade bread and a homemade quiche waiting for us! Even a hand written note inside their guest book specifically for us. They really care about the small details of sharing their home! It was definitely in a sketchy area but when we arrived to the particular neighborhood it was a cool spot with lots of personality.

This is our third visit to this location, and this time we are here for an extended stay due to the damage caused by Hurricane Helene that prevents us from returning home. Ryan and his team consistently exceed expectations during each stay. I highly recommend any of their properties if you're planning to visit Folly Beach. They truly are the best.

it was our first trip to Folly Beach and we loved it and couldn't have asked for a better house to stay in! the location was absolutely perfect! easy walk to the beach and to the main strip with restaurants and bars. would highly recommend and we plan to go back again!

The home and location was excellent. Port Royal is a walkable delightful town. Walk a couple of blocks along the river buff to Fish Camp, a terrific sea food restaurant t. And steps further, She’ll Ring, a brewery with the best beer in the region. Better beer than Charleston or Hilton Head breweries. Music Bingo Mondays, Trivia Tuesdays and BlueGrass Sundays. If interested in American History, the location is idea for American Revolution naval history, and the civil,war and reconstruction. Who knew the first reading of the Emancipation Proclamation was in Port Royal. And Beaufort, a lovely riverfront historic town, Pat Conroy’s home town, is a few miles away for more restaurants and horse carriage or golf cart tours or just walking along or having coffee on the charming riverfront. This is the best AirbNB we have ever been too. Will definitely return if we come back to South Carolina. Our dog (small dogs allowed) loved the fenced in yard. Wonderful neighborhood for walking dogs.

We have been coming to HH for years and this is our new favorite place. Marina has thought of literally everything for her house. She has more towels, pillows, linens, and kitchen supplies than any other place we've stayed. And don't worry about packing up anything for the beach, she has all the beach gear and awesome wagon for easy transport as well. The house was spotless and our dogs loved the fenced in backyard area. I appreciated that the coffee maker was both a dual carafe and single K-cup style machine. It's an easy walk to the beach and there is plenty of entertainment to be had in the house as well. Again, I cannot stress enough how well stocked the place is. We are used to always having to bring extra towels and cooking supplies with us, but it's not the case for this lovely home. We plan on returning here for many years to come, thank you Marina again for sharing your perfect home with us!!

This place is amazing! Even better than advertised. It's stocked with everything you need to keep a full house entertained on vacation, and access to the beach plus IOP restaurants/grocery/coffee is perfect. We went to the beach every day and enjoyed the pool every afternoon. It's also pristine - clearly Nick has taken care of this property and there were no issues with anything at the house during our stay. Would absolutely stay here again!

Very cute place with a comfortable king bed. The house was clean and we felt like it was in a safe part of town with really beautiful houses across the street. Road can be a little noisy early in the morning at the intersection, but not enough so to prevent us from staying again. We’d just bring an additional noise maker. Dogs loved the fenced in backyard and the driveway was big enough for our full sized truck and 16ft v-nose trailer. Only 8 min or so from park circle restaurants and about 15 min from the coliseum/convention center. Super convenient, cute, and comfortable. Hosts are friendly and helpful as well!

My family loved how walkable Joseph's place was! We were able to walk to several different restaurants, and the park that's close by took us by surprise with how many activities there were for kids of all ages. The only draw back from staying here would be how often we heard the train & low flying planes, which can be solved with a white noise machine. Regardless, we would highly recommend staying here.

We absolutely loved the location! We could walk to restaurants or get a quick Uber to the heart of King Street. The unit is very clean and had everything we needed. If you are a light sleeper, you can hear the guests above you pretty easily, but there were sound machines in all the bedrooms that helped cancel out the noise. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a great multi-gen family vacation at this home! The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to the beach, with easy boardwalk access point. The hosts provided an impressive array of beach essentials (chairs, wagons, umbrellas & beach towels) which made our beach days even more enjoyable and stress-free. The home itself was incredibly clean and thoughtfully stocked with extra touches that made a big difference (things like suitcase stands in the BRs, plenty of hangers, towels & blankets, and everything we needed in the kitchen to cook for a large group). Loved the extra fridge for beverages. The layout was ideal for a big family or group of friends, giving us space to gather while also offering privacy when needed. The beds were super comfy! We appreciated the kid-friendly features — large splash area in pool, tons of games, high chair and portacrib for our grands. We highly recommend this property and the hosts, Marty & Andrea, who really went above & beyon

We had a wonderful stay at the River Road Retreat! The space was lovely, clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed. The location was perfect—just a short drive to great restaurants and the beach. We especially appreciated the beach towels and chairs provided in the guest closet, which made for a relaxing afternoon at Sullivan’s Island. While it was too chilly to take a dip in the pool, we enjoyed a peaceful walk through the charming neighborhood behind the home. Although we didn’t get a chance to meet the host family, their hospitality was clear throughout our stay. Highly recommend this retreat!

Good Tides Getaway was the perfect home for us. We traveled from VT to SC for the month of March (have several years now), and this house has been the best so far. We have a dog and it is VERY dog friendly -- lots of toys, treats, etc., and a fenced-in yard. The proximity to the Beaufort historical district (which is our favorite) and Hunting Island State Park (our other favorite) was great. The home was clean, comfortable and we were able to entertain lots of guests too. We would highly recommend this property.

Everything was exactly described, as the reviews said the shower is small but the place was perfect for a family with 2 small kids. Having the detachable shower head helped with their age. The beach access was better than Florida beaches and we saw the sunrise on the beach several times. The kitchen was well stocked. Back yard was good for the dogs. My allergies did flare up but I’m highly allergic to animals so I expect it with dog friendly places (mine are hypoallergenic). Would stay there again.

We throughly enjoyed our stay. The proximity to the beach was a bonus for our morning walks on the beach with our furbaby & the fenced in back yard was perfect for giving her a space to explore. The neighborhood was beautiful & quiet. Thanks to Calvin for being a wonderful host! We definitely fell in love with the area and will be back.

We had a great stay, but should have stayed longer as five night just wasn't enough. We enjoyed the house and the neighborhood and all the nice people we met. Its a great place.

The space was perfect for our family. It was just a shy walk to King Street and all the shops and restaurants. Onsite parking was a great advantage.

Michael's place is fantastic. It is, as described, steps to the beach, which is beautiful. He and Lynn made us feel right at home and were available if we needed them. They were very thoughtful about providing us with all the comforts of home. We hope to return to this wonderful apartment.

This home needs a little TLC. It's an older home w/a slight musty smell upon entering, my husband has severe allergies to mold & mildew, but he was unaffected, so it must not have been that bad. This home has some little quirks like the washer & dryer are outside in a garage (that area was very clean), the dishwasher is portable & needs to be hooked up to the sink & plugged in (we didn't use it since we mostly ate out) & you can't run the microwave & toaster oven at the same time. The box springs to the beds were old, but the mattresses were decent & comfortable. There is no theme as to the decor, which made it very interesting, with finding something different everyday. With all these little quirks, I am giving it a 5 Star due to the fact that it is a charming little home, was very clean, in a great neighborhood, has private parking, is very close to the beach & area attractions & Rachel was a very responsive host. We had a great time during our stay!

Ric, was a good host. Very greatful, he was kind enough to lets us check in early. I appreciate his hospitality. If you need a place close to the beach, this is a good place to stay. Beds are comfortable !! Place us clean. Quiet neighborhood. Thanks for everything Ric !
