It was lovely to watch the waves and listen to the ocean everyday from our patio. Laure was so welcoming and offered ideas for places to go during our 6 week stay. She was very responsive to messages from us and genuinely want to make sure we had a wonderful visit. We were close to a variety of cafes and restaurants. The French bakery was a wonderful morning walk and Boat On Yacht Club a charming afternoon excursion. It took us a short time to get used to the to driving in Marigot but by the second week, we were comfortable with our route. I recommend getting out and about throughout the island. There is plenty to explore! Laure is a gem! We would stay here again.

Best Air B&B hosts we have ever experienced! So warm, welcoming, and responsive! The place was perfect for our family of four—we spent a lot of time just enjoying the view and pool instead of going anywhere else! The kayaks were a fun addition, as well. The place is beautiful and clean (and stocked with welcome drinks and snacks!) and has these amazing blackout storm shutters for excellent sleep and relaxation. If we come back to SXM we will DEFINITELY stay here again. Very convenient to get to lots of places (grocery, beaches, restaurants, etc.)

Francois was a great responsive host. He guided us to the house and showed us around. The place was squeaky clean and just as the pictures showed. The road was a bit winding and steep to get there but we adjusted and became more comfortable as the week went on. If you’re an older couple, this may not be the place for you as the driveway is steep and you need to drop the trash at the end. The winding stairs inside also might not be ideal for the elderly. Anse Marcel beach is a gem and I love that our place was away from the tourists. It’s super close to the Pinel Ferry and grocery store. Thanks for a great visit!

We had a very pleasant stay. The place is spacious and had everything we needed. The environment is great if you come as a group, where you can entertain together but also everyone has their private space. Brandon was a very accessible host. the place was well situated and next time if I am coming with a group I would definitely stay at his place.

We absolutely loved staying at this villa for many reasons. First, its location and three features we appreciated: it is on the west side of the island which means we saw beautiful sunsets every night; it is near Friar’s Bay Beach that we enjoyed a lot, including delicious food and great music at the Friar Bay Beach Café (quick note: you can walk to Friar’s Bay through the road - probably a 10 mins walk - but with the heat, we preferred to drive); and finally, it is secure and very private - we did not see nor hear neighbours. Second, its comfort. We spent most of our time outside, either in the pool or the covered patio. We also made friends with the turtles! The villa is well equipped with all we needed. And I would be remiss not to mention Julia’s quality service. She welcomed us at the villa and was very efficient to explain all its features. It was easy to communicate with her. Merci Julia!

Everything was on point from start to finnish, home away from home. Very clean and modern and also safe. Nicks a great guy, checks in with you and always responsive. A perfect ideal place to stay if your visiting the island.

Prior to our arrival Marie had texted me with complete instructions for our arrival to the Nettle Bay Beach Club location. Marie took time in showing us around the 2 homes. Both homes were completely updated and very nicely furnished. Very clean, bright and airy. Modern appliances fully stocked kitchen cabinets with crockery and all. Marie was very thorough in also sharing local dining options and local vendors. Our family stayed here very comfortably here for 1 week. The Nettle Bay Beach Club is a clean and modern private (gated) community with private pools. A beautiful resort that is 15 minutes from SXM airport. Close to grocery and convenience stores. Thank you Marie so much for being such a wonderful host.
