We really enjoyed our stay. It was a great location and we would have no hesitation in coming back again.

We had an absolutely fantastic weekend stay at Spring Farm. Our group of 10 friends were looking for a cozy countryside escape. The house is spacious and full of charm. The bedrooms were all comfortable, and there were plenty of communal spaces for us to relax, either in the large living room by the fire, around the dining table enjoying meals together or having a swim. The kitchen was well-equipped, making cooking for a large group easy. A great time all round.

We spent a lovely week at Alison's farm. Beautiful location near charming Ticehurst and Wadhurst (both have good Pubs), incredible views across open countryside and hills from the heated outdoor pool, which our daughter loved. Slides, swings and a trampoline bonus points with kids. Alison was friendly and helpful. The Shed itself is warm and comfortable, kitchen is kitted out for basic meals, and the two ensuite bathrooms are super spacious and have good showers with hot water plus bathtubs. There is so much to do in the area from beautiful walks, tastings at vineyards, to cyclyng in Bedgbury, boating in Bewl Water and seaside beauties Rye and Camber in the vicinity.

Had an amazing stay at Jane’s Old Stable on the farm. We received instructions on how to find the place beforehand and it was easy to find. The property has great views from the bedroom, was clean and had everything you needed for a stay including coal and wood for cooking outside. It was nice to admire the views and animals with a cup of tea sitting in the front garden in the morning. We enjoyed cooking and eating outside, and toasting marshmallows whilst looking at the stars. Kids especially loved the pool and hot tub. There were plenty of pool toys for them to play with. They enjoyed reading the books, playing games both inside and in the outdoor games room. We got to feed the fishes in the stream, stroke the horses, learn about the bantam hens and the kids even collected a freshly laid egg with Jane which was amazing. We had a couple of issues with the hot tub and each time Jane was quick to respond and fix the issue. Would highly recommend a stay.

This is an amazing and beautiful eco property. Ivana and John have spent a lot of time carefully considering so many aspects of their beautiful home. The location is so peaceful. The beautiful aspect across their garden meant you could see wildlife and bunnies and beautiful sunrises. 🌅 All beds were super comfy. The wood burner was cozy. The sofa was great for a family and their TV stereo set up was brilliant. There are ALOT of lights etched to get used to, that create mood lighting in each room and Ivana manages the heating of the property remotely.

Excellent property. Owners were really nice. Can’t wait to go again when the pool is open. Went to a local pub called Coach & horses, excellent food there. We took our dog and owners kindly asked if we kept her on the lead when in garden of property as they have sheep but there’s a massive field with a woodland walk out back so was fine to let off the lead then. Barn is exactly as described. There’s some good little board games there and our kids got a bit obsessed with cluedo. Was expecting to be chilly as it’s a barn but the underfloor heating makes it really warm and cosy. Will definitely come back.

This house is absolutely fantastic. Our group of 9 including a teen and two 9-year-olds stayed very comfortably for a week with a typically English mix of weather and the house accommodated us amply. The spaces were all individual, relaxing and full of beautiful furniture and art, we loved the characterful high-ceilinged garden room and the sitting room big enough for all 9 of us to play games. All the first floor bedrooms were large with comfortable beds and generous storage, and the second floor attic with two bedrooms and a relaxing space between was a great little world away. The rambling garden and the tennis court, trampoline, warm pool and table tennis were a real hit with our group. Locally there was something for everyone, highlights including great walks from the house along the river and up onto the spine of the South Downs, and garden visits to High Beeches and Sussex Prairie Gardens. Enzo and Lucy are well deserved superhosts, we would return in a heartbeat.

We had a fabulous stay at Tim and Suzanne's. The space and location was just perfect for a friend's getaway. Communication was always easy.

This was a beautiful little short school holiday get away for the 5 of us. Our kids got to revise during the day on a wonderful kitchen dining table, whilst us adults went into the centre of town and also a little walking along the beach. The house is beautiful and our 15 year old said “when I’m older this would be my dream house” It is indeed very cozy. Lovely beds (I slept like a log) I love Brighton escpecially The Lanes. We can walk to everything even to Hove and it’s bustling restaurant scene! Allan is an excellent host and really helpful. Nothing is too much trouble! He is super responsive too! All in all an excellent stay! We will be back!

Great house to stay in whole visiting the city, it is very central and perfect for getting to most places. 3 main rooms but flexible with amount of beds available

Really enjoyed our stay. Comfortable, nice and warm, and exactly as listed. A quiet location and dog friendly. Thoughtful host who left a little welcome basket of bits and had good communication. We intend to rebook next time we’re back in Brighton.

Tracy and Mark’s place in St Leonards on Sea is absolutely lovely. The house is beautiful, spacious and very comfortable – we all felt right at home straight away. The garden is a real bonus too – a sunny spot perfect for eating or relaxing with a cup of tea or glass of wine. There were loads of interesting books and board games, if only we'd had more time! Our hosts were very kind, helpful and responsive. St Leonards itself is a great spot for a short break. It’s right on the sea, with a really creative and laid-back vibe. There are loads of great places to eat and drink, and plenty of art and interesting shops to explore. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back. Thanks again, Tracy and Mark!

A good position near to shops and restaurants etc. Very quiet area although lots of houses close by. Access ok although on tiny side road. Rooms were large and well furnished. A lot of stairs although they are quite easy but this is not a good place for people with substantial mobility issues. One of our party has a very arthritic hip and coped ok provided she used her visits upstairs wisely! A caretaker appeared and dealt with some minor issues well.

Richard was a great host. Lovely place to stay, really clean and felt like home. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed here for a long weekend during Pride and we had the best time. Property was immaculate, nice bedrooms and we loved sitting in the courtyard garden. Ben was super helpful and the best host - thank you. Will definitely cone back next year!

Great location, not too far from the centre. Walkable or a quick taxi ride. Secluded quiet street either plenty to do in the area. Joanne was responsive and friendly and has a lovely place. Great place for a Brighton stay

A lovely find for our weekend. Very quiet with a sunny little terrace overlooking a garden. Louise was lovely and couldn't be more helpful. The rooms are lovely and well equipped. Plenty of space for parking. Very close to Gatwick airport. There is a lovely little cafe just across the road too. Thank you for a very welcoming, peaceful stay.

The place is great - very clean, airy and with all the amenities needed. It is situated a bit further from historical centre (Pantiles), in more residential area with loads of nice (and not touristy) restaurants/coffee shops/pubs to choose from. It is also just right next to the park. Dominic was very responsive and accommodating host. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a fantastic weekend away! The place exceeded our expectations—it was even more beautiful than the photos. Spacious, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable, it had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The surroundings were breathtaking, with stunning views and incredible wildlife—we even spotted baby deer and foxes running through the fields, which made the experience even more special. Our host was excellent—very responsive and accommodating. To top it all off, it was reasonably priced. We couldn’t have asked for more!

Beautifully presented property and immaculately clean. Thoughtfully prepared with everything you need and some helpful things in the kitchen. We felt very relaxed here. An easy walk to the lagoon and promenade. The host was helpful and gave a quick response to messages.
