The place was amazing! If you are looking for a peaceful, safe and beautiful getaway, this is the place to be. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. It’s quiet and so conducive to relaxation. The hosts are quick to respond. We are definitely coming back!

The lakefront cottage utilizes space well and is very clean and comfortable. The location on the lake is absolutely wonderful. Private area without a lot of traffic. We used the kayaks most of the days for fishing and exploring. Caught several bass and a 25lb catfish! The kitchen is well stocked! We cooked most meals at the house, utilizing the blackstone for breakfast. It was very comfortable and we enjoyed it immensely.

Our family had a fantastic time at Lakefront Oasis. The house was perfect for our kids. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking, making s’mores on the bonfire, cooking on the grill (they have such an amazing setup). We can’t wait to come back during the summer! Clean and comfortable space, a great location, thoughtful amenities and excellent communication with the host. Marykate was so responsive to all of our messages (both prior to and during our stay) providing us with helpful information for our arrival, checkin and stay. Lakefront Oasis’s exceeded our expectations.

We stayed here for our wedding and not only was it beautiful the host stephanie was great at responding to any and all questions we had! would definitely stay here again!

Terra was super responsive, but we really didn’t need much, everything was set up wonderfully. Being able to rent the water toys was such an amazing addition. We will definitely stay here again when we have another family reunion!

I stay at this location because it is very near my family and it’s a good place to be for Thanksgiving. It’s very peaceful and a nice place especially if you have a dog to walk as there are woods behind the house.

really loved this cottage for a quick weekend getaway with my sister. plenty of space for a larger crew as well. loved, loved loved the peaceful quiet atmosphere. screened in porch was our favorite hangout spot. would happily stay again

Our 2nd stay in the Pink cottage. We loved being able to walk into town. Great walking trails nearby. The house is nice and clean. Fun place to enjoy Pinehurst and all the local golf courses.

We enjoyed our stay. The view of the lake from the living room was great. The two dogs owned by Allison were very friendly and greeted us when we arrived. Allison took time to also greet us when we arrived and came to say goodbye when we left. We plan to return either in late spring or during the summer to take advantage of the lake.

Our stay was one of my top-ever AirBnB experiences. Michael was an incredibly responsive and accommodating host; he was so kind and available to answer any questions. The cabin was comfortable, cozy, and easy to enjoy. The ability to walk around the wooded area past the pasture was just perfect--we (of course) kept our dogs leashed while we went through the pasture gates, but we could stroll at our leisure once we were on the other side. If you're looking for a dog-friendly place in the woods that also has great wi-fi and a generous host, look no further. I'd give 6 stars if I could.

We had such a wonderful time at Linda’s home! The spot couldn’t be more beautiful, we used the kayaks multiple times and my dog was very comfortable in her home. It’s well equipped with everything you could need to cook a meal, and the beds were all very comfortable. Would love to come back!

We had a fantastic stay at this cottage! This was my first Airbnb experience, and it couldn’t have been better. We were in town for a working dog seminar, and traveling with a working/active dog can be challenging, as hotels are often surrounded by traffic and businesses. This place was absolutely perfect for us—just the right size for two adults and our large dog. The highlight of our stay was the host’s incredible hospitality. They not only allowed us to use one of their horse pastures to exercise our dog but also completely understood why it was so important for him to run. That level of understanding made all the difference, and we truly appreciated it. When we were not using the pasture we kept him on a leash as required and that was communicated ahead of time. We also loved meeting and feeding the horses on the property, which made our stay even more special. The peaceful setting, combined with thoughtful accommodations, made this first Airbnb experience an unforgettable one.

My boyfriend and I came down for a comedy show and decided to do an air bnb versus a hotel in downtown Greensboro . I saw Michael's adorable cottage , and it was amazing. It was super clean and actually really spacious. I also loved that it was so close to everything but yet not right in the middle of the chaos . We will definitely be booking this again next time we come if available .

Sweet cosy brand new dwelling above a garage. There's an attached deck with lots of sitting space, a firepit, and a new gravel drive. This place is very easy to get to from CLT, about a 30-40 minute drive east into the country. We stayed here for the Big Lick bluegrass festival -- perfect location.

Cannot say enough good things about our stay here. The house was just as described, maybe better. Very clean, cozy, nicely decorated and very charming. It was perfect for our short trip! The neighborhood was very nice and the neighbors very friendly. There were lots of deer in the neighborhood as well, so another nice perk. We were in town for a bike race at Uwharrie National Forest, which is just a few minutes away. The town of Albemarle is only 15 minutes away and has everything you'd need, including nice restaurants. I hope this home is available again next year when we come back for the Uwharrie MTB Challenge!

We stayed in Michaela’s rental for three months while looking for a new home. The home was perfect for my husband and I, and the fenced yard was perfect for our English Setter, Pepper. Michaela was responsive whenever we had a question, and even offered to bring heaters when an ice storm threatened power outages. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Had a great stay! Very clean, accommodating, and truly enjoyed the lake views!

The house was great. It was a little dirty but it’s a 140 year old house so I am not sure how clean it’s going to get. It wasn’t off putting just noticeable.

Mine and my brother’s family had a wedding to attend and this home was just right for 4 adults and 4 children. The view was beautiful, the house was clean and cozy, and my favorite part was the coffee bar ;)
