Beatrice Cottage has proved the perfect base for our Northumberland break. The cottage is beautifully presented and considerable thought has gone into providing everything you might require during your stay. The location is very quiet and peaceful and Grace’s prompt and helpful communication has been very much appreciated. We would love to return.

We had a fantastic stay in Amble with our family and in-laws. The house was spotless and had everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing break. The location was perfect, close to the harbour, shops, and a great local pub, Harbour Inn, which was dog-friendly. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed.

A four day family break was enjoyed staying at The drift house in Amble. Our days were so easily filled with wildlife (we saw dolphins, seals, puffins and many other birds), beautiful beaches, Alnwick and Bambrugh castles. We ate out at la Famiglia twice and at the sea food shack in Amble and a pub in seahouses- all tasty and friendly. We returned ‘home’ to the Drift House’s clean, comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. So central to access beaches and restaurants and close to shops but felt quiet and private too. Thank you Ian and Lauren! Carol and the Duffy family.

Absolutely lovely lodge in a great location to explore Northumberland. Grandparents staying and a grandchild to amuse for a few days. The pub and site is very friendly. The lodge is very cosy. Has everything you need for a homely stay. Perfectly sited next to the lake. Was visited daily by the swans and geese which the granddaughter loved. The hot tub was amazing to end a busy day visiting tourist spots. Diane the host was easily contactable should we need her, which we didn’t as everything was as stated. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Dianne. Look forward to staying again.

All good but I have to comment the bed mattresses were a little too hard for us all.

Fantastic 4 night stay at BelleRose cottage. Great detail provided by Carolyn who was helpful prior to arrival and during our stay . Great recommendations for food and places to visit. Spot on location for exploring the coast and inland . Loved the welcome pack such a nice touch and milk in the fridge after a long journey was very welcome. We wanted for nothing and we will hopefully be back . Thank you so much

Beautiful seaside apartment. Great base to explore the area. Host was very communicative about check in. The welcome book on arrival was a great help for the local area. The apartment was spotless and had a great set up. Especially liked the small selection of games for entertainment. Will definitely stay here again if available when visiting the area.

The property is absolutely stunning . spotlessly clean and beautiful decorated. The grounds are lovely and tge birdsong in the evening is something to behold Carrell is a lovely host and provided lots of bits and bobs for us such as milk Bread butter biscuits etc . We will definitely stay here again when up in this part of the country .

very nice please , really comfortable in a nice quiet area, has all amenities and is very close to retail park with restaurants etc.. highly recommended
