Pamela's is an excellent AirBnB location spotlessly clean, extremely well equipped and a very pleasant location within a short walk of Bakewell's amenities. The property is quite old but beautifully renovated and a pleasure to visit.

The cottage is a wonderful place to stay when exploring the Western Lake District and coastline. It’s tucked away in a quiet corner and has a lovely enclosed garden perfect for your furry companion . The cottage itself is surprisingly spacious, comfortable and decorated cosily. Sue was the perfect host and checked in to make sure our elderly parents had the best stay. We shall return again soon !!

This is a great place. We could’ve done with longer - struck gold with the weather so didn’t use the leisure facilities as much as we might have. Really well placed for visiting Keswick and Penrith. Whinlatter Forest took us about 30 mins to get to - great for walks, bikes, cafe.

We stayed at the house as an extended family for 4 nights for our daughters wedding in the area. It's an absolutely beautiful place and perfect for holidays , celebrations , gatherings or a base for an extended stay. The house is great, the garden amazing , outside space to socialise and eat is super and it's peaceful with beautiful views. We will hopefully come back again it's an absolute gold gem!

Great host! Amazing place and great view. We needed a private, relaxing getaway and this place was just right. We enjoyed the local attractions and loved every bit of the place. House was neat and Dave was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommended!!

We had the best stay here, the lodge was beautiful and had even better views. We loved every morning looking out at the views through the window above the bed. It had everything we needed and the guide was very helpful for local pubs and taxi information. Loved the selection of DVDs as well. We will be back!

Stayed at David's place over the Easter weekend and had a great time. David's flat is top notch, tastefully decorated, high ceilings, clean. Two large bedrooms. Settled in really well due to the homely cosy feel of the place. The location is great, just a few minutes walk to Lytham centre with his bustling shops, bars and restaurants. A great stay at a great place.

Wonderfully located and especially convenient if you’re arriving by train or bus with everything within easy walking distance. We stayed in a first-floor apartment that felt bright and airy with a cosy sofa perfect for sinking into after a day out exploring. Despite being on one of the main roads into Windermere and down to Bowness we slept soundly, surprisingly peaceful. The kitchen was adequately equipped and there were some basic refreshments like tea and coffee which were a welcome pick-me-up on arrival but you’ll want to stock up on supplies for your stay. The bed was comfortable with enough space for clothes and luggage which made settling in easy. The bathroom was compact (let’s say bijou) but the shower was a great size with excellent water pressure, a small but welcome luxury.
