We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cottage! The jacuzzi and sauna were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The cottage was clean, well-equipped, and had a warm, inviting atmosphere. The peaceful surroundings made it a great escape from the city. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Michael and Margaret are great hosts. We head up to their place every winter now for a little cottage country escape. They are super responsive and helpful. Their place is warm, cozy, and has a great hot tub under the stars (and under the snow if you’re lucky). We’ll be back again!

I would 100% stay here again. The apartment was fantastic, extremely clean and cozy! We didn't have many concerns or requirements during our stay, so we didn't have much interaction with Marsha outside of our check in and check out instructions. Check in was super easy and directions were clear. Check out was also extremely simple and had extremely basic requests for checking out. If you are looking to stay in the area, I would for sure recommend staying with Marsha.

Sarah’s place was beautiful and exactly what we needed for a restful week away! We loved the included amenities and made sure to put them to good use. Whenever we needed something, Sarah was very prompt to answer and assist us! We were very pleased with our experience and would recommend the beach house or one of her other two properties at the Inspire Beach Resort.

My family had the perfect weekend getaway at the Hemlock Hideway Waterfront. The cottage is beautiful and is very nicely decorated. It is equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed our meals together in the dining room, sitting in the sun on the private sandy beach, hanging out in the large family room and relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings. The water view from almost every room is breathtaking. Christine is a wonderful host responding quickly to any questions I had. We made some great family memories and would love to return.

Victoria was an amazing host, she was more than accommodating. Her place was very well decorated, the beds were so comfy. The hot tub was great. I would recommend her place to anyone looking for peace and quiet and just an overall great place to stay and relax. We were there in the winter, it was so pretty though. We definitely would like to go back in the warmer weather too. 100% recommended.

We had a great stay at Stella’s place! Everything was as described. Comfortable bed. Kitchen had everything we needed. Great location close to Bala and Gravenhurst. Any questions we had were answered promptly. Would stay here again!

Patricia was a helpful host, very friendly and accommodating. Her place was peaceful, had a beautiful lake view. It was cute, cozy with rustic vibes. It was clean, organized, and had everything we needed. Also, the location is close to Screaming Heads and different hiking trails perfect for seeing the autumn foliage.

We had an awesome stay (my husband and 5 year old). Janice made us feel like welcome guests in their space and takes great pride in their cottage. So many down to earth things to do & explore! The pictures do not capture the wonderful experience we had. Waking up to the sights and sounds lily pad pond and then hearing the frogs & crickets at night was a lovely experience. We would highly recommend this cottage stay. Great space & Great hosts! Thank you we would stay again!

Enjoyed our stay at Glenn Burney Lodge. Owner was very helpful and communicative, proximity to restaurant was great, privacy and seclusion of cabin made us comfortable on a first trip with our dog that he wasn’t going to annoy others if he barked a lot (which he didn’t…yay!). Overall, a very positive experience.

Exactly as pictured/described, everything you need. Lixin is very friendly and responsive. Helpful with any questions you may have. Kids loves the bunk beds and we had a blast. Looking into booking in the summer.

My husband and I had a really lovely time here for my birthday. It was the perfect weekend getaway from the city; private, quiet, and surrounded by trees in beautiful Baysville. Our dogs loved being able to run around the property and go on daily walks to the lake. The cottage itself was cozy and charming and had all the modern comforts we could need. The bathroom was especially nice! Though it was a chilly/rainy weekend, we stayed warm by the fire, used the SmartTV to catch up on shows, and powered our way through a thousand piece puzzle! All in all very relaxing. The hosts were also friendly, responsive and flexible; we’d book again!

This cottage is chic, serene and was lovely to unplug for a few days. It looks exactly as described. It’s tastefully decorated and thoughtfully laid out with a shuffle board, games, art essentials, a well-stocked pantry, plush bath robes. The wood stove inside and sauna outside was a bonus and great touch. The cabin is set amidst 100 acres of private land, we went on hikes, our dog loved it. It’s a short drive to Bracebridge town. We drove to High Falls in Muskoka which was beautiful. Taylor was super responsive. Can’t wait to come back.

It was great staying Misty River Cabin. The area was beautiful. My family enjoyed the stay and our dog love all the outdoor space to play fetch. Close drive to bracebridge made this location perfect for us as it allowed us to visit some of the local breweries there. The Cabin itself was beautiful and cozy. Would definitely come back in the future.

Nrupas cottage was more than what we expected! The location was perfect, the cottage is more like a house, the layout was perfect for gathering friends and family. The deck is huge and plenty of seating. There’s a fire pit with lots of seating. The bunkie is great for more privacy. There’s canoes, kayaks and a paddle boat…the lake is gorgeous. The neighbours are friendly. Comfy beds, We will be back!

We truly enjoyed our time at this amazing Cottage! Ron was very kind and helpful, he accommodated some of our last minute request with no hesitation. The property is simply beautiful, just like the descriptions. The town is just 8 mins drive and you have everything you need. My doggo had the best time. The property is sufficiently secluded and has privacy. The lakefront view was truly stunning! Every room and just everything was well organized and clean. We would love to come back!

It was 5 stars for us . Not likely 5 stars for others . But differnt strokes for differnt folks . We had a great time and its a beautiful spot . We will definitely return

Cynthia and Steve truly went above and beyond to make both my fiancé and me feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. They made sure everything was taken care of for our entire weekend stay, anticipating any needs we might have and being incredibly accommodating. The cabin itself was an absolute gem – cozy, warm, and exactly as described, offering the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing getaway. We had such a fantastic experience, and we’re already looking forward to returning next year!

What a gem. This is a beautifully rustic spot in the woods for a gentle getaway on the water. There’s a bit of a scramble up a hill from the brand new dock (with amazing swimming and lovely afternoon sun!) to a sweet little cabin - everything you need for a comfier-than-camping holiday. There’s all the kitchen basics you need, and the wood stove makes it super cozy. The lake is quiet and the neighbours friendly. It’s a great spot for a lazy day in the dock, or a more adventurous day trip into Massasauga provincial park. Geoff was very responsive when the power went out and offered to come up to fix it right away. But we preferred to spend our last night in the warm glow of candlelight and wood stove. Highly recommend.

Nicole was a fantastic host. Her place was super cozy and well supplied, has everything you could possibly need for a weekend stay. Highly recommend staying at boom-shack-a-la. 11/10.

It is clear the owners have put a lot of care and thought to every aspect of a stay at their cottage. Outside, there were 3 canoes available with PFDs and paddles; the dock was perfect for fishing- we caught bass and sunfish, and catfish, plus we also swam too. Pool noodles and ample outdoor dock seating was also available. The outdoor seating and dining area was really wonderful and afforded a view of the river still but also surrounded by trees that sound so lovely in the wind. There are neighbors on either side but everyone keeps to their own and feels very private. The barbecue worked great and it was so thoughtful how there was a lighter and a spatula and tongs clean and provided for easy access. The place was stacked with things you may have forgotten at home like a post-swim q-tip or herbal tea. The forest across the street is uninhabited and was great for mushroom foraging. I would 100% recommend this place as it had exceeded our expectations at every turn.
