The older colonial home had lots of space and privacy. It was perfect for our family of 4. The local staff were the best selling part and were who we dealt with on a daily basis. They were helpful in sourcing some items that we required and even produced them at local prices. They supported with orientation of the area, sending out laundry, purchasing fresh fruits, and making breakfast daily. They made up rooms in the morning and then were out in no time, leaving us with privacy. Wonderful staff.

We had an unforgettable stay in Candidasa, Bali! The villa’s pool deck offers breathtaking views that made every moment special. Madam Wayan was incredibly attentive, ensuring our every need was met, even arranging a delightful cooking lesson that started with a visit to the local market. The meals were exceptional—we truly ate like royalty. We also enjoyed some wonderful excursions and a memorable dinner at Joglo, which we can confidently say is the best restaurant in Candidasa. We highly recommend this villa and will definitely be returning next year!

Amazing house in such a peaceful location The perfect place for relaxing

I will hold Candi Dasa in my heart for years to come. Nyoman and Komang, the driver and house manger married team, made our experience 10000x better than it would have with out them. Nyoman was a great driver with knowledgleable reccomendations. He truly was a great sport! He drove us to Kuta and Canggu and back! Komang is supper responsive and so sweet! I mentioned it was my birthday and she got me a bouqet of flowers! The house was so clean and stayed clean thanks to Komang. The rooms all had AC and the bathrooms werr clean, easy to use, and relaxing. The area is perfect for people who don’t want the hustle and bustle of the city. I had amazing food, heavenly massages right in the villa, cooling dips the the pool under the Bali sun. I truly did not want to leave. Thank you so much!!!

Eine sehr schöne Villa – wie eine Oase! Sehr gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Dani hat sooo lecker gekocht! Sie ist sehr freundlich und geht auf alle Wünsche ein. Ketut ist ein ausgezeichneter Fahrer. Er hat uns die Umgebung gezeigt und viel über die balinesische Kultur erzählt. Wir würden die tolle Villa auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Spacious villa with a pool. The pool is clean. Each bedroom has en-suite outdoor bathroom. The beds are comfortable and the ACs works well. The living room/kitchen has a portable fan, a small sofa and a dining table. It is not the most ‘cosy’ and well laid-out living room I have been, but it may just work as a place to get family/group to sit down to have a meal together. Going in and out of the villa can be challenging if you bring your own car and you’re not used to drive on a small lane in Bali. Using scooters to go around Melasti/Amed will be much easier. Good Stuff cafe nearby has excellent fresh and delicious food/coffee.

Wir hatten eine unfassbar tolle und intensive Zeit mit Ama und ihrer Familie. Jeden Abend gab es Jam Sessions, bei denen man einfach mitmachen konnte. Man ist sofort ein Teil von Dreammakers geworden. In unmittelbarer Nähe kann man schnorcheln gehen, was auch eins unserer Highlights war. Diese Unterkunft ist etwas besonderes. Danke für die schönen Tage - wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen! Big love to all of you guys <3

If you want a place that feels like home because the people there treat you with such care during your stay, look no further. This place was beyond our expectations. My husband and I went here on our honeymoon and we can go on and on expressing how incredible this village is: the restaurant was delicious in all its meals of the day, the infinity pool had a wonderful view, the bamboo villa was like living in a dream, the pups there were so sweet and the cows coming through in the morning added a nice charm, beach cinema was awesome, our driver was the sweetest, the girls working there were so sweet and helpful, and knowing this village was privately and entirely ours was the perfect cherry on top. Oh, and definitely check out the snorkeling adventure as part of your trip, with Boodie. He was awesome taking us out there and showing us a super fun snorkel adventure of the Gilis.

We had a fantastic stay on Gili Meno. The villa is beautiful and secluded, we always looked forward to returning each day. The staff are very helpful and we loved their traditional Balinese cooking and daily breakfasts. Can’t wait to visit again!

Le paradis sur terre. Seuls au monde, dans un endroit hors du temps. Nous y avons séjourner quelques jours avec nos enfants. La villa est superbe, la vue unique et le personnel aux petits soins. Le luxe d’un hôtel particulier. Nous y retournerons.

Book this place now! The hosts are so responsive and helpful with recommendations and even helped us get a driver whenever we needed. The place is super clean and beautiful. The balcony overlooking the beach is amazing. You are able to use all the resort pools and restaurant and they have a store that has massages although we didn’t have time to get one. The beach is beautiful but rocky in some places. But this was fun for us to be able to find so many beautiful shells and rocks! The black sand is so pretty and there are plenty of places to explore or lay out on the beach. Adam, Jean, Pariatna and Bebe were the best hosts!

Beautiful, the place is more beautiful in person and the staff are amazing! Our favourite stay on our whole 5 month South East Asia trip. Highly highly recommend :) Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

We had an amazing time in Amed. The Villa was perfect for the 6 of us. The staff was very attentive and nice. Amanda was responsive and helpful. Snorkeling right off the villa's backyard was a highlight for us, we saw 3 sea turtles at once and lots of fish and corals.

What a heavenly place, it was clean and spacious for a family of 8 people and an infant, the staff are very attentive, special thanks to Ati and Eka, you grow to know them over the days, they are always willing to share knowledge about local culture and food. Our stay at Surya Hills was nothing short of fantastic! Tisya and her team were exceptional hosts, making our first trip to Nusa Penida truly memorable. Tisya went above and beyond, not only ensuring our comfort but also arranging a fantastic tour guide for us. The breakfast served every morning was delicious, with a variety of flavorful options. Our room offered a stunning view, was impeccably clean, and had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and highly recommend Surya Hills to anyone visiting Nusa Penida!

We enjoyed our stay in the tree-house very much. From the balcony of the tree house, from which you can also have breakfast, you have the most beautiful view on one of the prettiest beaches of Nusa Penida. Watching the sun rise in the morning was incredibly beautiful. The cabin is small but has everything you need, also a separate bathroom just by the side of the cabin. And the owner putu, his wife & son are very kind, friendly & adorable humans and try to help you with whatever you need. If we come back to Bali one day, we will for sure return to this magic place and their wonderful owners :)

Overall great stay! Always lean into the locals, they know the ins and outs when it comes to the island. Anything you want to do or anywhere you want to go, ask the host! Thank you so much!!

This place is a hidden gem. A great property to unwind and relax. There are not many restaurants around but the in house chef will cook super delicious food. The staffs were super caring and attentive to our needs. You can do activities like snorkelling, River rafting etc near by

This place is an absolute gem! Simple, but really thoughtfully put together with everything you need and a few ‘wow this is so nice to have’! The daily cleaning was awesome, and laundry was super cheap. John was a supremely helpful host, with a good vibe and lots of excellent local recommendations from beaches, earrings, waterfalls and sunset spots. He also rented a scooter to me for a very reasonable price. The neighbors were doing some construction, and they usually started around 8/8:30am, which was maybe the only downside. Other than that, I couldn’t have been happier with my stay, and am looking forward to when I can be back next!
