We stayed in Fridleifur's apartment for a week. The apartment was exactly as described, very comfortable, modern, and spotless. It’s located in a peaceful, yet central part of the city, making everything easily accessible. The host was very helpful and readily available throughout our stay. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time in this cozy apartment. It was a nice location to be outside the city but have easy access to main roads and shops. We chose this place as it was walking distance to our friends' house. Heba's decor is very pleasing and the kitchen had everything we needed. The space is well designed for relaxation and practicality. It was easy to park our rental car in the driveway.

We had a wonderful stay at Bridget's home. We utilized the transportation to and from airport, that Grace provided and she was the highlight of the trip showing us great spots and a tour around before dropping us off and even on the way back to airport stopped and let us go into the Viking museum. We even extended our stay and they still drove us to airport and we appreciate their flexibility. The apartment was in the heart of town with great water pressure and plenty of hot water and extremely clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again if in Iceland.

I can't say enough good things about the studio: spotlessly clean, comfy bed, well-stocked kitchen, huge shower, plenty of storage, and a big TV. It's set back from the street and very quiet. The neighborhood is very safe and I was comfortable walking alone. It was the perfect base for exploring Iceland. Being so central, you can walk to the main attractions easily. It's 5 minutes max to Bus Stop #9 for tours/Flybus and one block to Laugavegur with great restaurants and shops. It could not be better situated for sightseeing. While I didn't meet Roald, I was in constant contact with Sigurthor before and during my trip. He was incredibly patient, responded to all my questions within minutes, and provided great recs. He was unfailingly kind and an absolute delight of a human being. It felt more like staying at a friend's house instead of an Airbnb. I highly recommend the Cozy Studio. Takk fyrir, Sigurthor & Roald! I look forward to staying with you again. Best Airbnb experience ever.

Lovely home! Even though there is no cleaning fee and guests clean up after themselves, the house was spotless, with fresh bed linens and a well-maintained space. It has everything you need, making it feel more like a home rather than a hotel or a typical Airbnb. We truly appreciated the warm and inviting atmosphere. Great place to stay near the centre of Reykjavik. The apartment is a basement flat and the owners live above. It is a really nice living space packed full of books and records that you can play on the record player. There is a kitchen with a small hob, plus a dining table to eat at. The apartment is full of character and we loved it. Parking was relatively easy on the street outside the property. Randver was very helpful and contacted us when we left something on the flat of sentimental value.

Olafur lists his response time as 11 hours, but he was usually much quicker than that. His was a nice place accessible to many restaurants and not far from the downtown area. Quiet at night, lots of parking, a great home away from home.

We had a great few days at the apartment which was really comfortable and had everything we needed for our Iceland base! Would highly recommend

Eyrún place was perfect for our trip! It was located so well, about a 30-45 mins drive from the airport, 15-20 mins drive to Reykjavik, and close enough to drive the Golden Circle in a day. It is also close to many convenience stores and a Costco. The place was beautifully decorated and clean. Check-in/out & parking was easy. Eyrún was very responsive and nice Overall a great stay!

Wir könnten nicht glücklicher sein. Es war für uns der letzte Stopp unserer Winterreise und die Gemütlichkeit der Unterkunft hätte uns fast nicht mehr nach Hause fliegen lassen. Die Wohnung ist noch schöner als auf den Fotos und das einfache Leben durch die unmengen an Gewürzen, Tees, Kaffee hat das entspannte Erlebnis abgerundet. Man sollte keine Schwierigkeiten mit (wenn auch kurzen) steilen Treppen haben. Für uns eine ganz klare 10/10! Wir kommen gerne wieder, sollten wir nochmal nach Island reisen. Vielen Lieben Dank für Alles und die tolle Kommunikation!

This was the perfect distance from the bus stop to take us into the city. Because it was right outside of the main city center, it was quiet and peaceful. The area had everything we needed and it felt safe. Just a heads up to other visitors the water has a sulfurous taste and smell. This is a wonderful place to stay and we would definitely book this again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Roberts place. The apartment is clean, warm, and super comfortable, and in a great location. You can easily walk to downtown, and it is close by to a couple of supermarkets, and one of the bus stops for airport transfers and excursions. I highly recommend the apparentment for couples looking to explore Reykjavik - thanks for a great stay!

Ideale uitvalsbasis om de stad te verkennen, het huis van Orri is een heel mooi en charmant plekje en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het huis is denk ik al best oud, het heeft een steile smalle trap, maar dat maakte voor ons niets uit. Prima verblijf!!

Our family enjoyed our 2 night stay here. Nice location, easy drive to Reykjavik centre and a supermarket down the road. The apartment was clean and comfortable with an added bonus of a hot tub and beautiful sunsets. Thank you ☺️

Just WOW! This was just heaven. The space, the surroundings, everything - it exceeded all of our expectations and totally stole our hearts. We were with our three children - they all adored it. It snowed and they spent hours playing in the play area outside, they all got chance to ride the beautiful ponies in the arena and we all used the geothermal pool several times a day, which was incredibly special in the snow. It’s just 2 mins by car and easily walkable too. We cooked lots in the kitchen. We would go back in a heartbeat. If you’re undecided where to go, research no more - this is the place!!

Really enjoyed my stay at Halldór's apartment - very cosy and well decorated. 20 minute walk to anywhere in downtown Rekyjavik, and an even shorter walk to the coast. Halldór made himself available for check-in, and was helpful thereafter. Bonus points for plenty parking spaces being available on street. Would recommend!

My girlfriend and I stayed at Tolli’s studio for 4 very comfortable nights. It was in a beautiful location with picturesque mountains surrounding it. Even though it’s outside of Reykjavik the town nearby had everything you need. A big super market, petrol station and two amazing food spots I’d recommend. Olverk pizza and brewery and the food hall just before it. We found the stay a great hub for exploring the south of Iceland with many great sights not far a drive from the Airbnb! I could go on about our stay but all in all it is a very special place and I highly recommended it 😁

Helgi Jens' Air BnB was very nice with lots of amenities. The location made it easy to get downtown or hit the expressway for more lengthy adventures. It was nice, clean and looked just like the pictures. Helgi was very communicative and was quick to respond. I would highly recommend staying at this Air BnB.
