Can’t say enough good things about this little cabin! William and Barbara were excellent hosts! Very friendly and responsive. William even came and helped us retrieve the canoe that got stuck on the other side of the lake. There are so many thoughtful additions throughout the home like fishing poles, eggs, bagels, lots of cool books, extra blankets, etc. The back porch is right on the lake. So nice to just sit and watch the ducks, turtles, and birds. Hope to return soon!

Immaculate home! Everything was clean, tidy and orderly - easy to enjoy, and easy to clean away when checking out. It truly felt like our own home whilst there. Michael was the perfect host too, responsive when needed, but respected our privacy to enjoy the home. We’ll be back!

We planned our family vacation to Streetman and had another air bnb booked. We arrived to plumbing issues and had to quickly divert and find a new place to stay. We found this beautiful home of Kendall’s and were so appreciative of the quick response time and flexibility the host provided with us. Kendall’s home is BEAUTIFUL, peaceful, and full of every single thing you would need when vacationing. We were extremely impressed and so grateful for an accommodating host. Our two pups were in love with this spot as well. We would love to make this air bnb our annual vacation spot. Highly recommend!!

This was the best AB&B experience I’ve ever had. The host made everything simple and the accommodations were great. The attention to detail and decor of the lake shack was true to description. Had a great time enjoying s’mores, smiles, & scenery! Not to mention a great location for fishing and fun! 5 STARS ✨

Russ was probably the best host we’ve ever had from a communication perspective. The place was very comfortable and relaxing. The initial supply of food provided was unsurpassed. It also had every kitchen gadget you’d ever need. The sunsets were unbelievable. We love wildlife and it was like our own little sanctuary. Many different birds. I even saw a few alligators when I was out fishing. Beyond being right on the water, there are other places near by such as Lake Seminole State Park and another place that I think was called Rays Pond Park. Both of which I intend to explore next time down. I would recommend to anyone that likes wildlife, fishing or simply wants to relax. We will be back.

I had a great 2 week stay. The internet was strong enough for me to do my WFH job and stream podcasts while working. Excellent view of lake buchanan and lots of places to walk and explore around the lake. It was within a reasonable driving distance to Enchanted Rock and Inks Lake.

what a wonderful experience staying at Graciela's! A perfect place for us to stay and explore the Hill Country and Kerrville. The space was so inviting and she made it extra special with wine when we arrived, along with other cold drinks available. The bed is super comfy, and the linens are very nice. The shower is great and there's nice big towels in the bath. The laundry facilities and iron & board were really helpful. The riverview is really awesome. Sitting out back you get to enjoy the view of wildlife on the river. Everything about staying there was great. Graciela and her sister are so very nice. They have a really nice space. Rebooking!

Well equipped, comfortable, and spotless place… location is very peaceful and serene… Overall we had a great stay! Few nitpicks to note: 1. Hard to comprehend from pictures alone how low the lake is. There really is no lake access at this time. 2. Not sure I would call “private”. Hosts live upstairs and have a full view of the patio area. Not an issue for us (and hosts are unobtrusive and very friendly) but could be for some 3. I’m very picky about light bulbs so this is a personal preference, but the light bulbs are very bright white LEDs which, in my view, takes away from an otherwise warm space.

Beautiful home that was perfect for our family getaway. Highly recommend renting both the main house and the attached apartment for the most privacy. Beds were very comfortable and steam function in master bedroom felt like we were at a spa! Chuck and Jennifer are very helpful and responsive. We had a great time!

Loved the gated community sense of privacy and security. The guards were friendly and courteous. Close proximity to anything you would need. Getting around Houston was pretty easy coming from this location, but be careful of tolls. Definitely try the restaurant “Hunger Crush” at the warf, the food was excellent. Cafe 105 was a great breakfast spot with interesting twists on old classics. The only negative was on the morning when all three of us had to get ready to get out the door early, we ran out of hot water. Since I showered last, it was a very brisk and hurried experience. Give yourselves plenty of time between showers.

Always a pleasure to stay at this property and enjoy being at Lake Ella. Can’t wait to return.

Quaint, very clean with a beautiful view.

The location was fantastic, everything was clean and set in order. The owner was kind enough to leave a welcome note. It was quiet and peaceful and I was able to enjoy my time in the area because of the experience I had at the Airbnb. I will definitely be using them again in the future.

This is by far the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed!! I have never heard of the area, but am so thankful for the host’s recommendations and amazing place to stay. The house far exceeded expectations. The host has thought of everything from lake towels to Bluetooth speakers to a fully stocked bathroom with medication & all the amenities! Cannot wait to come back. The view was just AMAZING!! & bed was so comfy!

Molly reached out to me immediately upon booking. Super friendly. She understood our situation with our fishing tournament and was helpful at every turn. She didn't tell me that "Coach" would be over to visit, but the kids and I enjoyed our time spent with him. Had a blast and enjoyed the accommodations very much. Great host.

My small family loved our long weekend at the cottage. The home was perfectly appointed and the sleeping arrangements worked well for us. We enjoyed some time outside overlooking the water. Will be happy to visit again sometime.

The house was cozy and well thawed out. The kitchen fully equipped with everything needed, the master bed the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, and the bathroom provided for all needs. There were several items I would’ve liked to have purchased, so I reached out to Lisa, and she was always quick to respond with information. My favorite part was the enclosed pergola with the amazing glider bench. I spent much time out there, just relaxing, and looking at my surroundings. It was very relaxing, enjoyable, and beautiful. A great place for a getaway!

This place is magical! It feels like you’re stepping into an adorable cottage in Martha’s Vineyard. The house has lovely antique furniture and accessories, but the best part is the killer view! While the lake has receded a lot, you still get such a great view here and can really appreciate the beauty of the lake. I also wanted to mention the bed felt really great and we slept very well here. We will definitely book this place again and recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, quiet getaway!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming fishing cabin on False River! The cabin had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway, and it was the perfect spot for our family of six (including two kids) and our two dogs. The porch was our favorite place to start each day with a cup of coffee or hot chocolate, taking in the peaceful view. The dock was great for a little fishing and enjoying the serene atmosphere. Inside, the cabin was older but cozy and well-equipped. We were able to cook breakfast together, and the kids had a blast watching movies and playing games in the evenings. It really felt like a home away from home. The host went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, was incredibly responsive, and gave us great recommendations for local activities. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind and spend quality time with our loved ones. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly retreat!
