Had a great short stay, breakfast was - bonus and the location was close to what I needed!

Pretty nice for a hostel. heated floors. Website has very clear instructions for finding the building.

what sold it for me was the very convenient location, which was a 2 mins walk to dongdaemun train station. the room was very cozy and they provided everything we needed, from towels to shampoo/soap/conditioner, water refill station and toilet paper. we had a comfortable stay! the toilet was also spacious and dustbins were provided. it felt safe as well since there are other people staying in the same house. overall great experience! thank you for hosting us :)

This place is in a great location. The train station was down the street; it was easy to get to the placed I want ted to go to from there. It was in walking distance from nice places like Myeongdong Shoping street/night market and Namdaemun market. The only thing I would say is that its up a hill and there aren't any elevators in the building, so be sure to consider your disposition. For me, I didn't really mind it. Lol I considered it good much needed exercise to burn off all the food I was eating 😂, but hauling my heavy luggage to the 4th floor definitely was something 😭. So try to pack light if staying here, or pack what you want and pray you get a room on the first floor

I would definitely book this place again if ever i came back to SK . Though room is not that big (hardly opened our suitcases both ) place is near to MTR and walking distance to Myeongdong night market . A big plus to a breakfast they provide , though not that grandiose noodles, bread , jams , ( coffee is a must every morning ) it really saves a lot for a free breakfast for us tourist . I love the kitchen for its complete kitchen stuff’s . After 4 days of stay and as we will be checking out (to head to Busan) i cooked our breakfast meal early to bring to train . Found also many “kababayans” who also stayed there , we just had short chat during our breakfast . Heads up to the host , who always answers back for your queries . Good job 👍

I recently stayed at Mumune Stay in Myeongdong for 5 days, and it was a fantastic experience! The host was incredibly accommodating, allowing us to check in earlier than expected, and the check-in process was a breeze. The location is perfect, with easy access to Seoul’s top attractions like Namsan Tower and Gyeongbokgung Palace. The room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with fast WiFi, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The area felt very secure, with numlock activation on the door after 6 pm daily for added peace of mind. Additionally, the host’s excellent English made communication smooth and hassle-free. If you’re looking for a convenient, comfortable, and secure place to stay in Seoul, I highly recommend Mumune Stay—it’s the perfect home base for exploring the city!

the location is great! very close to everything, the bus stops, jonggak (?) subway station, and airport buses. also has a lot of restaurants around, it’s like in the middle of it. also it was near to all the touristy spots like the palace, myeongdong, gwangjang market, and nseoul the actual place was just the right size for 2 ppl. everything looked like the picture. the host was very responsive even if it’s like 3 in the morning, they reply right away. only con would probably be when it’s night there are a lot of smokers and drinkers but i guess it’s pretty common! still not a deal breaker to go back to this place.

Annie has been an absolutely wonderful host. From the very beginning, even before my arrival, she was incredibly accommodating graciously handling all my requests and making sure everything was perfectly arranged. Her helpfulness has continued throughout my stay, always going above and beyond to assist me whenever needed. The accommodation itself was delightful. It's conveniently located close to the station, which made getting around very easy, and it's surrounded by great restaurants and handy convenience stores. The room was spotless and had a pleasant, fresh scent that made it feel welcoming and relaxing. Even the hallways were clean and carried a lovely fragrance, adding to the overall comfort of the place. It was truly a lovely stay, and I’m grateful for Annie’s hospitality.

La ubicación es de lo mejor, pude llegar a muchos lugares caminando y tiene una estación de metro muy cerca. El lugar es bonito y las personas muy amables. Recomiendo.

Clean room, room is good for two people. Clean bathroom. Location is good. Close to subway and tourist attractions. Front desk people were very helpful too!

- The location was great (near Jonggak subway station) - lots of restaurans and convenient stores nearby - place was near Myeongdong, Cheonggyecheon Stream and Gyeongbokgung Palace (walking distance) - building has elevator - clean room and beddings - helpful staff - host was very helpful and responsive We really had fun during our stay in MJ Stay. 방 분위기도 너무 좋고 바로 앞이 현대백화점이라 편했어요! 티비도 있고 블루투스 스피커도 있고.. 여러모로 편했습니당 보일러가 빵빵해서 춥지 않게 잘 잤어요 ㅎㅎ 나중에 또 머물고 싶어요

J’ai passé une excellent séjour chez Hyonny. Hyonny est très réactif et en cas de problème, est là pour vous aider. La chambre est comme sur les photos et le lieu comme sur leur description. C’est propre, facilement accessible et le quartier est animé, il y a beaucoup de chose à faire autour de l’hôtel. J’étais malade durant mon séjour et Hyonny s’est inquiété pour moi et m’a généreusement proposé son aide. Je lui en suis reconnaissant.

We stayed at this apartment for about ten days and everything was perfect. The place was clean, cozy, and very well located, just under a 10-minute walk from the station, super convenient. There were even hair straighteners and phone chargers available, which was such a thoughtful touch from the host. I actually used them and really appreciated it! I will definitely come back to Seoul and would not hesitate to recommend this place to others. It was a great experience!

네명이 2층 4인실을 묵었는데 비주얼이 사진 그대로여서 놀랐네요! 스태프분이 너무 친절하셔서 몸둘바를 몰라하며 밤늦게까지 열심히 놀았는데 문이 미닫이라 그런지 방음이 빵빵한 편은 아니어서 옆방 눈치를 많이 봤네요ㅎㅎ 밖에 분리수거 공간이 있는줄도 모르고 쓰레기도 방 안에 모아놓고 나왔는데 죄송합니다;; 화장실과 샤워실, 싱크대는 같은 층에 함께 쓸 수 있도록 독립되어 있는데 방음문제를 제외하면 접근성은 좋았던 거 같아요! 요리할 수 있는 부엌과 냉장고가 1층에 있어서 왔다갔다해야하지만 방 자체가 너무 좋아서 그것도 없으면 방콕만 할 것 같아요ㅋㅋ 위치는 홍대에서 멀지 않고 주변에 식당도 많아서 괜찮았고요 뭣보다 침대가 이층침대인데도 불구하고 이층도 여유공간이 넓어서 좋았어요! 창문을 열면 옆집 벽이 가로막고 있기는 해도 환기하는데 불편함없었고 수건이나 뜨거운 물 등 준비를 다 해주시기 때문에 필요한 게 있으면 정중히 요청하면 될 것 같습니다! 저희는 가격대비 만족하고 가네요 감사합니다!

Mr. Lee was a great host. He kept himself updated before my flight and after I landed. He even fetched us at the bus stop because of the cold weather and drove to the place. The place was neat and suitable for 2 people, I have nothing against it. It was also a comfortable experience staying there. He's very accommodating and fluent in English. No language barrier for us, even if I was with my Korean girlfriend to translate. Overall, it was a superb experience since it wasn't a hassle going to Geumho station and it was easy for us to roam the whole city. There are a lot of restaurants to around, so if you are too lazy to go to the busy districts of Seoul you can just roam the area and eat delicious Korean cuisine. I will definitely book Geumho Luxtel next year when I'll visit my girlfriend again and recommend it to my friends who are planning to visit Korea.
