Beautiful and secluded house in a pine forest. Close to small villages and Sesimbra, with tasty local restaurants and shops. Jorge and Virgílio kindly shared many recommendations, which all proved to be great. We rented the house for a Christmas vacation. Jorge was a welcoming host! Great fireplace with plenty of wood provided by the hosts. The main house is beautifully decorated and spacious, with plenty of natural light. The kitchen is well equipped, where you can cook and serve for a large party. Downside was the old/outdated appliances, but they worked fine. The bedrooms and beds were comfortable, even if a little odd as two of the bedrooms had two double beds, which may be a little confusing when booking for a large group. The house felt cold even with the central heating on. We had to keep an eye on the gas tanks to make sure they don’t run out- maybe better as a summer vacation home! As many houses in Portugal, there was a strong smell of mold. Overall a great stay!

Wirklich ein toller Ort zum Entspannen mit Blick auf die Lagune von Albufeira.. Nah am Strand und ein Ausflug in die nahe gelegene Lagune mit einem Paradies für Vögel ist auch gut zu erreichen. Das Haus ist wunderschön und auch sehr schön und individuell ausgestattet. Auf einem Liegestuhl von der Terasse die Sonne zu genießen ist wunderbar. Die Setubalhalbinsel hat wunderschöne Natur zu bieten und die kleine Fischerstadt Setubal ist auch einen Besuch wert.

André’s House was perfect for our girls trip. The house has a great character and the kitchen has absolutely everything. Check in could not be easier with the Herdade’s reception and André’s easy communication. The nature around the house gives you all the calmness and privacy you need. The mosquito issue in the area is handlebar with candles and spray + the house has mosquito nets on all windows. We would love to come back!

Nuno was a superb host. Incredibly helpful and quick to get back to every question and query during our stay & even before we arrived. Serenity Villa was such a beautiful space and we loved staying there for our holiday. Spacious & modern - with everything in the house you could possibly need as a family. The photos do not do the house or surrounding gardens justice! A brilliant holiday :))

Mariana’s home in Comporta was perfect in every way. Right in town, walkable to all the shops restaurants and bikes to the beach. She and her property manager were incredibly accommodating, hospitable and responsive. The home was beautiful, spacious, well maintained and had every amenity. I would love to stay here again and again and again. It truly made our trip to Comporta special and memorable. Thank you Mariana and Patricia!

We lived in this house for 1.5 months, it fits well for a family with kids. All the issues were immediately resolved by the host. It was the calmest place in the world, that we've been to. The house is pretty sturdy — we survived undamaged through the storm inside, while the area was pretty affected. The lagoon is really nice and clean, almost stranded during winter except for water sports fans. Houses in the area are well cared of, not too many cars around, so tranquil to get around with kids, that enjoy freedom of movement. We are a car-free family and it is manageable in the area. The farmers market works during low season just on the weekends, but you can get to Alfarim on foot through the nice wood area. We also got to Sesimbra and Fernao Ferro by bus.

Apartamento numa zona reservada e logo um ambiente seguro. Zona extremamente sessegada e tranquila principalmente durante a noite!! Apartamento equipado conforme descrito. sublinho a limpeza impecável de todas as áreas,(que pode ser feita durante a estadia, se assim se desejar), bem como a roupa da cama e toalhas impecavelmente limpas A água bem quente e com muita pressão. Colchão e almofadas muito confortáveis. E o podermos levar a nossa "pet" foi fundamental para a escolha do espaço. Ideal para uns dias de férias em casal.

L'appartamento di Luis Felipe è molto accogliente e curato nei minimi dettagli. Mio marito ed io siamo molto soddisfatti. D'altra parte eravamo già stati lí anni fa e si è confermata un'ottima scelta.

A experiência na casa foi simplesmente incrível. O ambiente é extremamente calmo e privado, super aconchegante, familiar e muito confortável, com tudo o que é necessário para uma estadia perfeita. Como se isso não bastasse, fomos recebidos com um mimo de boas-vindas que nos fez sentir ainda mais especiais. Para fechar com chave de ouro, tivemos a oportunidade de ver perfeitamente os fogos de artifício. A Renata esteve sempre disponível para nos ajudar!!❤️

We stayed in the upstairs department of the house and had the garden to ourselves. We stayed there a full month with our cat, because of a medical treatment I had to undergo in Lisbon. Agostinha really makes an effort to make you feel at home with some welcome presents. The place is very nice and cozy decorated. Great large bathroom! In the night with the window slightly open you can hear the ocean from your bed. Which I really loved. We walked to the ocean as often as we could. It is a 6 minute walk to the dunes if you know the shortest route. Agostinha is very kind and very active in her communication. I really recommend staying with her.

Andy place is excellently located, minutes to the beach which was our morning routine. quick dip in the ocean, then back to sit outside and enjoy our breakfast with fresh local ingredients from the market/mercado. sesimbra has something for everyone, kids loved the aqua Park, and we did a number of boat tours which I would highly recommend, beautiful coastline, hired a yacht for a day (ulissessailing) super reasonably priced and did a tour along the sesimbra coastline which was excellent, great balance of snorkeling and touring (daydreamexperience) Andys place has everything you need, super well stocked. The dishwasher and washing machine were super handy, and the shower was great, powerful and hot and just what you need after a long day on the beach. if you like fish, Isaías is a great experience, very well priced. don't get turned off by the exterior or sometimes lengthy weight, that's all part of its charm! Wir waren fast 14 Tage in Davids Haus. Wir waren als fast 80-jährige Mieter von Davids Unterstützung in allen Fragen begeistert. Auch für unser Chico-Hund war toll gesorgt. Wenn wir nochmals in die Gegend kommen würden würden wirwieder Davids Haus buchen ! Ein absolutes Bravo 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Lovely, quiet area, not too far from Comporta. Big house with lots of room.

The house was very well located, close to the beach with a parking lot closeby We have enjoyed our time and particularly the barbecue. If you are doing kitesurf it’s a very nice spot, just in front of one of the spots so you can go walking.

Una maravillosa casa en la que hemos disfrutado de unos magníficos días de descanso y disfrute. El jardín es un oasis dentro de una pequeña población llena de encanto. Muy bien decorada y cama cómoda. Limpieza impecable. Muchas gracias a Ilda y Carlos por su amabilidad y atención en todo momento. Absolutamente recomendable y en dónde esperamos volver algún día.

Francisca for me really is a superhost. From the beginning until we left she was always there for us with helpful information concerning the house oder things you can do around in this Area. A big big thank you for letting us live in your home. We enjoyed really a lot . The house which is a littler bit older but has lots of charme has two bigger sleeping rooms and one smaller children room, so it is perfect for a family with two to four or even five children( there is even a baby bed ) . The house has a nice atmosphere and the garden ist perfect to play badminton or other games . The Area is perfect if you like to play golf, because the courses are in walking distance . For all the other things you need a car . A small super market is two minutes away with the car . The beaches of Fonta de Telha oder Costa da Caparica you reach in 10 Minutes with the car, to Lisbon you need about twenty minutes, if there’s a normal traffic, so for us this was strategically the best place to start our activities . We would come back anytime to have our holidays here again . Thomas Schneider

We thoroughly enjoyed Nunos place, the location is excellent and the surroundings are picturesque and peaceful. The home is well equipped, comfortable and an enjoyable place to spend time. Nuno was excellent at communicating and we wouldn’t hesitate in returning.
