Jake was very accommodating. With the Hurricane destruction that had occurred, Jake still went out of his way to make sure myself and the guests were heard and seen and made to feel safe.

Great cabin. It was clean and modern. Secluded as described. Had a well stocked kitchen and we used the grill. Overall a great weekend getaway.

The cabin was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect for unwinding—whether sipping coffee on the deck overlooking the water or enjoying an evening by the fire pit. The hosts were incredibly attentive and made sure I had everything I needed without being intrusive. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape surrounded by nature, this is the perfect spot. I can’t recommend it enough and look forward to coming back soon!

First time on lake James and it blew us away! Andrew’s home was a perfect fit for us to be able to enjoy the surroundings!

Fairway to Heaven is beautiful and in an amazing location - minutes to the base of Beech Mountain. We were there during the last snow fall, and it was truly gorgeous overlooking the snow covered golf course. Tim and Amie were wonderful hosts - they were quick to respond to any questions we had. We look forward to staying with them again!

I brought my family, and significant others, to the mountains so my first grandchild could enjoy her first experience with snow. The eight of us has a great time and we ALL loved the accommodations. The home has great energy and comfort. The owner made the whole process easy and welcoming. The Resort facilities are excellent and the staff at the club house were friendly and very accommodating. We 100% recommend this location!!!

Amy’s home was beautifully decorated and extremely clean. It was in a very quiet and peaceful area. Perfect for a weekend getaway!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Mike and Danna's place. It felt very private with lovely views of their land and surrounding woods. Felt very cozy! The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and appliances. The kitchen window had an especially nice view. We enjoyed eating at some of the restaurants in West Jefferson and also cooking our own meals in the kitchen. The hall bath was clean and well-stocked with towels. The heating system worked well and the heating stove in the living room resembled a fireplace which made it more cozy. All in all, we had a wonderful, relaxing stay!

Lovely home in Beech mountain only a mile or so from the slopes, fully equipped kitchen, nice comfortable beds and linens, great functioning, hot tub.

The house was perfect for 2 familes kids ans/or teens. It was clean, well stocked and the perfect location in Beech Mountain. Karyn and Steve were quick to respond to all of our questions. I would definitely recommend this house.

This was an ideal house for our two families. The kids took over downstairs while the adults chilled upstairs. Very clean. Our house instructions indicated that neither the downstairs or upstairs fireplaces were working, but once we got there we could tell the upstairs one had been used before. Recommend updating those. We had a hard time getting the pilot lit but the host was very responsive and the homeowner actually came by to troubleshoot it. The only thing I wish was different was a king bed option. All of them are queens.

We had a great stay in this little house. It’s very conveniently located near Beech Mountain Resort, parking was easy and the house had everything we needed for our family. Eduardo communicated well and we felt comfortable the entire weekend. We would definitely consider staying here when we visit Beech Mountain again. This property is ideal for a family or three couples since it has a master bedroom and two additional bedrooms upstairs.

This was our third extended family ski trip to Sue’s house. The home is spacious, well equipped and located on the maintained main road very close to the ski resort. Perfect for our adult children, small grands and toy poodle. Hope we can return next year!

Lisa was a very responsive host and we appreciate that the property is dog friendly! The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary items for our stay and the bathrooms were pristine. It's a new home, so everything is spotless and comfortable. The host lives on site, but we barely heard them while we were staying there.

Another great Winter stay at Got Rocks! We’ve stayed here many times before and we’ve always enjoyed the proximity to the things we enjoy nearby such as skiing, wineries, groceries, restaurants, etc. there is lots of space to spread out, and everything we needed in the kitchen to make meals whenever we wanted. This place was amazing! Honestly the pictures don’t do it justice, the view is just incredible. Great place to have a trip just to getaway. Frank was a great host and would gladly book with him again.
