This apartment is beautiful inside and out. The place was clean, with everything needed (laundry, stocked kitchen, shampoo/conditioner/soap). The bed is comfortable (with a soft sink to it). The decor is beautiful and more than a typical airbnb, making it feel homey. The bathroom is modern and had plenty of towels. The yard is well kept and peaceful. Parking is right up to the front door (it’s some gravel over grass, so it’s hard to see). The place is near the end of the road, with a subdivision at the end (there’s more traffic than expected, but it’s mostly quiet). It’s worth the price, and a beautiful, peaceful place to stay.

Home away from home. This house is packed with so much. From the beautiful views of nature to the coziness of the beds. This place was truly special for me and my family. Hands down will book again.

I had a great stay! The place was clean and comfy and had everything I needed. Robert went above and beyond. He stopped by before the concert to answer some questions for people and he came by again after the show to make sure everyone staying had what they needed, and got a fire started for us! Great location and just a cool/fun environment. Many good memories in just one night! Thank you! Would 100% stay again!

We loved our stay at this Air BnB! We had a large group of about 26 people and we split up between the 2 homes on this property. We go on a large group trip 2 times a year, and out of the 8-10 Air BnBs we have stayed in over the years, this was by far our favorite! The view is stunning, the amenities are great (kayaks, paddle boards, HUGE hot tub, game room, fire pits, lake/dock access) and it comfortably fit everyone with room to spare. We are already talking about booking again this summer, and we would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a serene and fun stay. It’s a 9 minute drive to Walmart, but is remote enough to feel secluded and enjoy the quiet. If you have a large group, this home truly has it all!

Robert was fantastic. He checked on us to make sure we got into the property and had everything we needed. Such a friendly guy! The bed was really comfortable and the unit was clean. The property has camping spots, cabins and the studio we stayed in. I was worried it would be loud staying above the bathhouse for the cabins / campers but it wasn’t. We had such a great time at the Caverns for the concert and then enjoyed a firepit and hanging out with others staying on the property. Easy walk to the concert venue. Definitely will stay again. First class host!

We stayed for a concert to the caverns. It was perfect. The place was clean and just like the pictures. There was a terrible wind storm and lost power for a couple of hours. They were communicating the whole time power was out. Such friendly staff. Absolutely will be staying again when we go to another concert in the caverns.

I've stayed at many AirBnBs but Nannie's House really stands out. It was absolutely pristine. You could definitely tell that this was a house that someone took a lot of pride in its upkeep. Reminded me very much of how my late grandfather took care of his house. Was super peaceful, comfortable, and quiet. Absolutely could not have asked for a better place to relax and sleep after a day of music at The Caverns. Superb.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Gary's place! The mountain home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very spacious for our three children. My kids have never seen snow and it actually snowed our last day there. Just made our trip even more special! ☺️

We loved staying here and it was very cozy. We especially enjoyed the fenced in back yard for our pup! The house had everything we needed and made us feel at home.

This is a great house with a huge yard. It was winter, so the pool wasn't used, but the firepit is nice. It's a great location, a bit out of the campus hustle, yet very close to everything "University". Although it did not bother us at all, it's a bit of a noisy spot during the commute hours, as the road beside it brings a good bit of traffic in for work. We highly recommend this listing!

This home exceeded our expectations—it was even better than the pictures! The decor is charming, and the space feels warm and inviting. The master bed was incredibly comfortable, and my wife and I slept so well every night. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, making meal prep a breeze. Matt was very responsive and went above and beyond to accommodate our specific needs, ensuring we had an stress-free stay. The neighborhood was peaceful and private, providing a serene retreat. Additionally, its proximity to Tims Ford State Park made it convenient for us to explore the park’s beautiful trails and lake activities. Highly recommend Matt’s place for those looking for a peaceful getaway and excellent host!!!

We wanted a little weekend get away and this was the perfect place! very quiet and peaceful! The amenities were perfect, firepit, grill and hot tub were exactly what we needed! A very short 5 mile drive to downtown Tullahoma for eating, shopping etc.

I’ve stayed at a few rentals in Sewanee and this was by far my favorite. It’s fresh, new, clean and charming. The entire place was stocked just right, and it was easy to get every where we needed to go. It felt like home, and I would definitely stay here again. It’s perfect for a couple or a family with 1 or 2 kids. We loved it!
