We stayed in apartment 38 for a week in July 2021. It exceeded my expectations and the pictures do not do it justice (the pictures make it look a bit dated but it really isn’t). It is a lovely 3 bed apartment - very clean throughout. The bedrooms and bathroom are on the first floor and the stairs lead up to the living area and kitchen! The kitchen comes with a fridge, dishwasher, cooker and oven. You also get all your basic cooking utensils and dishes alongside cleaning products including dishwasher tablets. One thing I would suggest is taking some tupperware to store your food in or if you want to make a picnic. The description also stated they provided cooking oil - but there wasn’t any - so it’s worth taking some if you want to make a full english in the morning. We ordered a Tesco online shop which was delivered straight to the apartment without any problems. Note, the pools (indoor and outdoor) are not heated so can be quite cold. The indoor pool area is a bit tired looking with the paint peeling off the floor - but the kids still had a fab time. The gym is also well equipped with weight and cardio machines…but again some of the padding on the machines are a bit worn. Overall we had a fab time, the views are amazing. Meadfoot beach is literally on the doorstep and the town is only a 15min walk away. Paignton beach (10min drive) is great for the kids if you want a bit more hustle and bustle i.e. Pier with arcades and fairground. Also recommend The Inn on the Green for lovely pub grub - they are directly opposite the Paignton pier and the staff were fab too.

A lovely stay in a beautiful location. The apartment had top quality furnishings and fittings, was comfortable, spotlessly clean and well equipped with plenty of tea and coffee. We loved the balcony and window seat from which we read our books and watched the world go by. There’s an on-site Leisure Club which looked great though we didn’t use it on this occasion other than for a good meal in the Deck where staff were very friendly. We enjoyed a trip to Burgh Island on the sea tractor for lunch and Afternoon Tea and what a treat! Staff were delightful, the food and drinks delicious and the decor superb! With good walks on the doorstep and easy access to the beach this is an ideal place to visit at any time of year. Christopher and Tanya were excellent hosts, gave clear access instructions and responded quickly to our queries. Thank you once again and hope to return one day:) Roger & Jennette

Seascape is a prefectly located, immaculate and very well appointed apartment. Our expectations were high following the descriptions of the accomodation and these were met in full. Thanks to the owners for ensuring it was very clean and welcoming on our arrival.

We have been going to Shaldon for many years now and this is now our new favourite place to stay! It's fantastically located right on the beach front with shops, pubs and restaurant's with in easy walking distance. The apartment its self is great with all the amenities you would need for a long or short stay. The rooms are clean, airy and comfortable and the views are fantastic!! You can lay in bed and watch the sea crashing over the bar and beach front, there is a view out of each window towards the sea front and estuary. We Will definitely be back.

Dawn & Richard were fantastic hosts. The accommodation was fantastic and spotless. Bed was very comfortable with great blinds to block out the light and the bathroom was lovely and clean. Couldn’t fault anything would definitely return.

This was a first class stay. The studio was spotless, comfy and well-equipped. There was a lovely extra touch of home made chocolates on arrival. The host was very helpful, friendly and unobtrusive. Recommend!

Lovely flat. Very clean with comfortable beds and pillows. Amazing view from picture window in living area. Close to town shops and excellent restaurants. Would not hesitate to stay again if visiting Brixham.

We had a great stay here, a perfect spot to get away and relax. Susan was a great host, very responsive and some great recommendations on the local area. Would definitely stay here again if i am in the area, thank you!

Helen’s places was one of the most comfortable and well equipped places I have stayed in. A short distance from the costal path and within walking distance of Brixham harbour. I would highly recommend it.

Lovely location with some great views and easy access to lots of sights.

The Owner/ Management were brilliant from start to finish, from questions pre the few nights away, to a question when we arrived. Fantastic rugged and inspiring location on the Coast, and a very well equipped home. We hope to return.

Maxine's place is a delight, spacious and light, I could have quite happily stayed much longer. It was lovely to hear the river in the background and the sound of the chickens. It is fully equipped. I was there just a few days as I was looking for a rental, so didn't get to try any of the pubs or restaurants. Having the local friendly shop was good, which is also a butcher's. Sidmouth is 6 mins away, where there's a mixture of Independant and chains stores. Great walks either side of the beach, Mutters Moor one side, there's also The Bryes which is quite central. Highly recommend staying here

We found Mel’s cottage exactly as described. Warm, cosy, well-equipped and immaculately clean. Peacefully, but conveniently, located for Topsham, with easy access to Exeter and the wider region. Some thoughtful extras, including logs for the wood burner, were greatly appreciated. Highly recommended. We hope to visit again.

The house is so lovely, and the surrounding area and views were picturesque. The cleaner was kind and thoughtful and left us a little note with some biscuits and milk, so we could have a much needed cuppa after our very long drive. Plus there were many leaflets suggesting places to visit. Thank you

We really enjoyed our stay in Topsham. We are a family of 4, the kids are 11 and 13 and it was perfect for us. I recommend coming by train if you can, it is a short walk from the station and there are plentiful trains to Exeter and Exmouth as well as things to see in Topsham and nice walks close by.

We had a lovely stay at Kim’s home! It was perfect for our large family. Location was perfect for different days out. Communication was excellent and Kim recommend several pubs for our visit. The beach at the bottom of the garden through the woodland made the trip for our dogs. We have already rebooked to visit again 😊 thank you!

Without a doubt, one of the most beautiful AirBnBs we have had the pleasure of staying in. From beginning to end communication was excellent. We could not fault this beautiful apartment. It was absolutely stunning. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. The nautical themed and country decor was fresh and very tasteful. The beds were super comfortable and the bathrooms pristine. The location was gorgeous and very picturesque, looking out over the harbor. We had quite wild weather ( to be expected in Winter ) but I could imagine it would be gorgeous in Summer. Sarah was an absolute delight and perfect host. The thoughtful hamper and beautifully written card were very personal touches. I hope we can return one day. Thank you Sarah.

We had a really lovely short break, the situation helped to make it special, so close to the sea and to our favourite restaurants. We thoroughly recommend The Beach and Rockfish for good food, and La Mar for a special treat. The apartment was beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we needed, even down to beach towels. The bed was supremely comfortable, there is a good shower and my husband says the television was easier to navigate than most in rental properties. Thank you Julie, we hope to return next year sometime to take full advantage of the beach towels!

We stayed at Ashley's beautiful Captain's Rest for the second time. The location is absolutely perfect with everything within walking distance, close to amenties, restaurants, parking and plenty of places to explore. The property really is a home from home with lots of added extras that help to make your stay a delight. Captain's Rest is beautifully decorated, clean and tidy and perfect for all the family. I stayed with my family (including two children, aged 12 and 4) and we had more than enough space to relax between adventures around Brixham. Thank you so much for having us a second time, we will be back!

Great place. Second time staying here with my elderly father for Christmas. Was spotlessly clean with all the kitchen etc utensils needed. The scones, jam and clotted cream was a nice touch as we're the Christmas decorations. Arranged to check-in early at 4pm on Christmas eve. Is about a 15 minute walk from Exmouth station plus is on street parking (parking permit provided by host if needed). Very easy access to seafront/estuary mouth and small marina. Is also a pub opposite (not noisy) that does good food. Are a couple of mini-mart style shops about 400yards away. Exmouth centre a 15 minute walk. Would recommend

A beautiful apartment with outstanding views along the estuary from the living area and main bedroom. Very comfortable and warm for our February visit. Local facilities including pubs, restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Very pleased we found this apartment and will definitely return when we next visit Kingsbridge.

Lovely large modern apartment exactly as described. The apartment was very comfortable and we felt right at home Based right in town, shops, restaurants, play area, green space and beach all just a few mins walk. We had a great weekend away. Would definitely visit again.

What an amazing stay at Karen’s - the only grudge I have is I didn’t have more time :( Karen’s place is superb - the location, the house, the communication - everything was spot on. I had read previous reviews and was expecting a very good experience but this was so much beyond. The apartment is right on the doorstep to the beach. It is situated at easy walking distance to the town centre and the neighbourhood is very peaceful and quiet. The apartment itself is lovely - there’s load of space, the rooms are very vibrant and it is built and maintained to a very very high standard. I would certainly stay here again.

Lynne’s attention to detail and hospitality was outstanding. She provided breakfast supplies and treats over and above what you’d expect. Immaculate apartment, all beautifully presented and equipped and the hand written note was a nice personal touch. We would highly recommend!
