Can't say enough good things about this place! It is absolutely stunning and in a beautiful setting. The house was so charming, cozy, and impeccably clean. It was thoughtfully stocked with water, wine, snacks, and firewood. Karen is a wonderful host — so friendly, responsive, and helpful. Can't wait to go back!

We had a great weekend at Pirate's Cove ! The house was beautiful and the views are amazing. The house had plenty of room for our party guests, with lots of activities to do. There were a few recommended maintenance items that would have added that extra icing on the cake, but these things did not make or break out stay and were shared with the host! However, overall it was a great spot and we look forward to coming back in the warmer weather and utilizing the Hike's Landing items and being out on the water.

If you are looking to unplug, unwind, relax & enjoy nature THIS IS THE SPOT! From trails, caves, bamboo forest, waterfalls, lakes, fire pits, front yard creek, chickens & PEACEFULNESS. I couldn't recommend this airbnb location anymore !! My family went for a little Valentine's weekend trip to enjoy quite time & we CAN NOT wait to go back when its warmer to enjoy all the fun outside. The house is SO COZY & welcoming. Ken makes sure if you need something, It's there from pantry items to toiletries to outdoor items. Thank you Ken for making us feel RIGHT at home, My kids enjoyed the house so much they didnt want to leave.

The cabin was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully maintained. I especially appreciated the well-stocked kitchen pantry, which had all the basic essentials needed for a comfortable stay. It’s the perfect retreat for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a peaceful getaway. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Morgan's. 15 min or less drive to Harper's Ferry town, and 12 min drive to another nice town north. Tons of privacy and lots of space inside and out, but close enough to towns restaurants hikes etc. Great view from the hot tub! Morgan was responsive and easy to communicate with.

We had a wonderful stay at this home! It was incredibly clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen had all the utensils, pots, and pans you could ask for, along with thoughtful extras like blankets and firewood for the outdoor fire pit. The gas fireplace and open living room-kitchen design made the space feel so cozy and inviting—like a true home away from home. The view is absolutely spectacular! We truly enjoyed sipping our morning coffee while looking out over the Shenandoah River and mountains. It was the perfect getaway, and we can’t wait to stay here again!

This was our second visit to one of Frank's many properties and his high standards are reflected in the care he takes and feels for his homes. Our stay at "Overlook" was fun, relaxing and peaceful. Some highlights: -hot tub was one of the best we've seen (large, clean, good jets and in a great location). -home layout is well thought out -kitchen is stocked -extra 1/2 bath (not pictured) in awesome mudroom/laundry area -very comfy couches, sitting areas and beds -outdoor fire pits and indoor gas fireplace -nice dock -privacy and the ability to walk all over the expansive property, including along the river (there are some steep hills giving you the great views, but nothing crazy) -the scenic views from the big windows in the house We went during a flash snowstorm in December... can't imagine how much fun a summer or spring visit would be! We would definitely book again. Great gracious hosts! Thank you.

I took my wife for a quick birthday getaway on a snowy january weekend. We love berkley springs as we only live 45 mins away., but i wanted a secluded place to spend the weekend just outside of Berkeley. What a great spot, we plan to return this summer w the kiddos and take advantage of the stream and water below the house. Cant wait super excited to come back. Thanks kristen for your flexibility. Stayed here during our bike ride on the C&O trail. It was about 1 mile off of the trail, and very easy to find. It was exactly what we needed. Multiple showers, two bedrooms, and laundry-everyone in our group was able to get refreshed for another day on the trail! There weren’t restaurants in the area, but plenty of options on DoorDash. Our beds were extremely comfortable. This was our best stay on the trail for sure!

Stay at Mahmoud place was very comparable and pleasant experience. He is very friendly and communicative person, room and shared areas was clean and had everything what you need for comparable stay. Areas around the place very walkable and have beatiful views. I would recommend this place. Thank you for the hospitality!

I had a great stay at Johns place! It was clean, quiet and comfortable. The perfect place for my long work trip.

We had a lovely stay and will definitely return. The home is directly on the Potomac river with beautiful river views. The home is a split duplex and you have an adorable apartment all to yourself with a wood fireplace, 2 bedrooms, walk in shower, and direct access to the hot tub overlooking the water. You barely notice the upstairs apartment other than the occasional sounds of footsteps above. All tvs are smart tvs with steaming capability. The hosts are very friendly and have excellent restaurant recommendations! This is a hidden gem and a great deal!

This was, without a doubt, THE best AirBnB that we have ever stayed in. Super host Anne. Nicely loaded refrigerator, wines and even a homemade quiche for us! Unbelievable. My wife and I are still talking about it. We’d go back in a heartbeat.

Robert's retreat is exactly what our family needed to get away from our ticky-tacky suburban lifestyle. Our dog could run free as could our kids. Yes it was colder/wetter than we hoped and being from the south put as at odds with nature but we enjoyed the wonderful wide open out doors in small sprints. From walking the hanging foot bridge over and over to teaching my girls to cast and reel their first rod. We lit a fire the first night and the negative ions had the effect i had hoped for. My kids read and relaxed for bedtime. Robert is the epitome of "hospitality " always a few minutes away via chat to answer questions and provide guidance. I did learn that the Airbnb policy indicates that it is incumbent on the renter to provide their own firewood. Robert was gracious enough to supply wood for our first night but something you should consider logistically if staying more than a day during winter. We look forward to enjoying Robert's retreat again. Clan Milligan

Our family enjoyed our stay the Mountain Mama property. Communication was great from booking through checkout. The house was big enough for our family of 7 to spread out nicely. There were plenty of books and games to entertain our kiddos. Enjoying the fireplace while watching a family movie was perfect for a cold weekend.

The private lake access made it easy for us to go kayaking and fishing, adding to the unforgettable experience. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. This home is truly a hidden gem for anyone looking to escape into nature while still enjoying modern comforts. We can’t wait to return

Our stay at the Windswept Inn was a wonderful family vacation and a much needed reprieve from the city. The Inn was warm and cozy and situated on an amazing property. It is in a perfect location close to many restaurants, wineries, breweries, and Great CountryFarms. We look forward to future stays!

We enjoyed our visit to this quaint hunting cabin. The house was clean, comfortable, and we loved the peaceful setting. Unfortunately it rained for our stay so we were unable to enjoy the screened in gazebo and fire pit. The manager, Stephen was accommodating and responsive to our questions and needs.

Only needs a weekend spot to attend a wedding in Winchester. The house is way up on the mountain, so going in/out was a bear. Pretty much get what you need before heading up. The morning view across the valley is beautiful. The house had everything I needed. Bring bug spray if you’re going to go walk around.

This little cottage was so well decorated and clean. We were visiting our daughter at JMU and this little hideaway was only 25 minutes away. We drove into town for breakfast. Really a great relaxing stay!

This house was perfect for a girls weekend! I really appreciated the quality finishes. We had everything we needed in the house. Mountain Mama was a wonderful host. I will definitely book with them again!
