We had an amazing weekend away at this lovely Airbnb in the Peak District! The property was perfect for our group of friends - spacious, comfortable and beautifully located. We loved the cozy atmosphere and the stunning interiors of the home. Jane was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for an stress-free stay. The area itself is a dream for nature lovers, with plenty of walking trails and scenic spots nearby. It was the ideal base for exploring the Peak District and also great for relaxing after a day of outdoor adventures. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with friends!

Instructions for arrival were spot on. We found the cottage beautifully furnished and decorated up for Christmas. When lit in the evenings it looked lovely and felt cosy and comfy. The small dining table was perfect for four adults and we thoroughly enjoyed the home made cake, biscuits and prosecco. such a lovely touch. We did take our own milk but found Milk and fresh orange juice supplied in the Fridge, another fab touch. Two beautiful fireplaces with a great supply of logs to have the log burners running making the rooms beautifully warm and cosy. The Kitchen had everything you could wish for. The bedrooms were spacious and beds comfy. Literally a stones throw from the property is a local pub and Biggin Hall and the location was really close to the Tissington Trail. All in all our friends and ourselves had a fabulous couple of days away relaxing and walking after the hectic Christmas festivities. Cannot fault the place and would definitely return. Wonderful 😊

A delightfully furnished cottage with everything you need. The peace and quiet was delightful and with wonderful views it was a great find. Great to explore the area and friendly and helpful host. Highly recommend

We had a fabulous stay at rocking stone cottage! The cottage is superbly done out to a very high standard with 2 very large bedrooms with comfy beds and beautiful en-suites. The place has a cosy, yet luxurious feel. The surroundings were beautiful with lots of walks from the doorstep and a pub within walking distance. The hosts were fantastic. Very friendly and provided us with delicious brownies on arrival.

We stayed in the very small cottage, but there are another 4 larger cottages in the same place. Easy to check in. Beautiful surroundings. Walking distance to a great pub and lots of reservoirs. The only problem is the living room is dark, as there are no windows due to it being a converted barn. I was sleeping on the sofa bed and was woke up at 7am every day due to the light streaming through the kitchen window, as there was no blind. The bedroom was extremely light too, it would benefit from blackout blinds or curtains. Parking will be tight when all the cottages are occupied. I would say this cottage is best for 2 people. There’s only 1 sofa, with 2 bean bags, despite room for an armchair. The table is too small for 3 people to eat on. I would definitely return though. Warm on arrival. Water pressure is low. No phone signal, but great WIFI.

What a wonderful weekend we had! I celebrated my 60th birthday there. A charming Barn with lots of character. Lovely & welcoming with a special cake and birthday decorations. Treats & a bed for the dog too! All my family thoroughly enjoyed it! Lolly, the facilities manager, was really friendly and helpful before we arrived and available all weekend with any issues we had that were resolved so quickly. Thank you Lolly! Had the loveliest weekend at Stable View with my kids, and my friend and her daughter. Laura made sure we were comfortable and left us an amazing breakfast package! The space was clean and really nicely kitted out. The kids loved being able to see the cows, the chickens, the geese and sheep from the windows. Laura was super friendly and responsive and even showed us around the dairy farm where we got to meet lots of new calves and see the ladies having their evening milking session. My kids have been raving about it endlessly! Thank you so much for having us, we loved every minute! 100% would recommend!

My husband and I had a lovely stay here with our puppy. the campsite was lovely and included everything you would need such as kettle microwave etc, and the dining area is especially helpful too. The area is lovely and there is 2 pubs within a short walking distance both of which are dog friendly and serve great food we particularly enjoyed the gate inn. The area is beautiful and there is lots to see and do we would love to come back again to this site to see some of the places we didn’t get the chance to go, Thankyou Caroline for a lovely break away and for being a welcoming and accommodating host throughout our stay.
