Excellent accommodation in beautiful surroundings. Delightful and welcoming hosts. Can't recommend highly enough.

This is our third stay at Monnybrook House and again another wonderful stay. Superb venue with everything you need. Flexibility, great communication and a view of the local alpacas. Friendly neighbourhood. Three great pubs within walking distance but we recommend the Crown Inn due to its great menu and very reasonable prices.

Absolutely amazingly lovely host who goes above and beyond. Wonderful apartment - comfortable, clean, safe, and an impressive use of the space. Will now stay here everytime I need an air bnb in Sheffield!

James and Claire - we can’t thank you enough! What a beautiful place you’ve built, honestly the most tranquil and most welcoming place & Airbnb we’ve been to! From the hot tub to the cheeky built in trampoline - just unreal! Waking up to the most beautiful scenery, with a cuppa, just amazing! Literally just perfect, but the Thirsty Horse bar made our whole time there - this truly feels like a home away from home! We wish we could rate it way more stars but Airbnb doesn’t let us! You guys should be so proud of what you’ve made! We’ll be back very very soon, enjoy the Easter egg & we’ll see you soon! If you’re reading this review - just book this place and look no further!!! We had a great stay. Very quiet location and plenty of space. Spotlessly clean, everything looked brand new. We will stay again.

Denise and Jeremy's place was fantastic. Such a beautiful setting, and really well thought out place. The bedroom layout was perfect for us and what really stood out to me was how it was an accommodation for a lot of people that actually had a lot of sofas and a dining table big enough for the amount of people staying there (so often I've been to places for 5+ people but only enough space for maximum 4 people to sit comfortably) The view from our window in the bedroom was absolutely beautiful, especially with the lovely sunrises we got. It was great place for the dogs too with a bed and bowl provided which our big dafty loved (he loves any bed but his own!). They provided so many things you'd often forget to bring like salt and pepper or milk which if you were not planning on eating in much would be invaluable to someone travelling light! Will definitely plan to visit again!

The apartment was clean and comfortable and Din was responsive to any queries I had.

Absolutely delightful little apartment to get away from it all. It’s got a lovely Victorian cottage / secret garden vibe. Absolutely spotless inside, perfect to get away and unwind. The inn at the top of the hill did the best pizza I’ve ever had too!

Another amazing stay at the lodge. My wife and I have stayed here 3 times now and we feel right at home. Amanda is very friendly and accommodating. We love the lodge itself, it’s secure, private and the furniture is beautiful. The village and surroundings are just stunning too. Would highly recommend staying here.

Perfect stay and perfect host.

Just as described, comfortable and peaceful, private room with a private bathroom. Well equipped shared kitchen as well as min-kitchenette in the room. Stayed for almost 2 months. Had a wonderful time and Tomasz is so quick to help with any request . Would recommend to anybody who came across this listing .

Property was just right for what we needed. No frills.

Absolutely lovely BnB in such a incredible area. Paul who dealt with us ring our stay was very friendly and stopped to chat every time we saw him even though he had his relatives over to see him. The whole property was spotless and couldn’t find anything at fault. Will definitely be returning at a later date 😊

nice and clean place to stay

I have stayed with the Glyn & Lynn for a year now (minus July) and it’s been a real home away from home after mine had been flooded. It’s been marvellous and in a way I shall be really sad to be leaving the Croft family. Everything you could possibly want is here. You will certainly have a wonderful welcome and a very comfortable stay.

Lovely little place for a weekend stay in the Peak District. It is in a perfect location for exploring, with many places just a short drive away, as well as some lovely walks in the local area that you can do from the doorstep. The chalet has everything you need for a short stay, including delicious homemade bread and enough cooking equipment to make simple meals. I would highly recommend! (And if you like dogs, Ben the friendly golden retriever is lovely).

Excellent self contained accommodation. Tasteful decor and furnishings with modern kitchen and bathroom. The apartment was very welcoming with some lovely gestures of provisions in the fridges and a vase of flowers. Great communication throughout our stay particularly from Janet who checked in with us almost daily. We will definitely be booking the apartment again when we are next visiting our family.

Kate and Alan were wonderful and very accommodating hosts. The little touches of homemade jam and a loaf of bread were so thoughtful. There is everything you need for a very cosy homely stay. Very close to some breathtaking walks and views and gentle strolls along the canal are very close too. Very quiet and a wonderful location for exploring Poynton and the Peaks.
