Lorette’s place is a tiny slice of heaven. I highly recommend staying here. The house is older but that’s what makes it so wonderful and have such great charm. The house was on a dead end which made it incredibly private and quiet. We were lucky enough to see a beautiful, bright rainbow and we’re treated to our very first time seeing the northern lights!! Rachel, Lorette’s sister was extremely friendly and helpful and they are both there for you if you need anything very responsive. I have to say it again I highly highly recommend staying here and I will definitely be back. If you have children she had such a wonderful stocked location of toys, coloring books sidewalk chalk and for adults plenty of movies and games and crossword puzzles . The backyard was my favorite with the huge deck and the view of the field and path to the water with the beautiful pine trees at the end. I enjoyed every morning with my tea and the birds thank you so much, Lorette!!

We had a struggle with the mortgage company for a home that had purchased near Yarmouth, but this made the hassles easier to deal with and it was a great location to get out and meet our new neighbors

We enjoyed a family weekend at Arin and Tobias' for my sons 19th birthday celebration. Their home is spacious, clean and both hosts are accomodating, friendly and welcoming. We had everything we needed in a beautiful home with equally beautiful surroundings. We seal watched at the rocky unkept beach close by, there were several seals right next door. Some of the brave ones even swam at Cherry Hill beach in cold temperatures just a 15 minute walk from this air bnb (beautiful walking or swimming beach!) Highly recommend them for a comfortable and peaceful stay!

Stunning, comfortable home- perfect for a winter weekend retreat with friends! Kitchen was very well-stocked. The entire home was spotless. Added bonus that you can enjoy the amenities at the nearby Whitepoint Resort free of charge!

Gorgeous property. Better than photos convey. Decor is very tasteful, bathroom large and beautiful shower. Everything was done thoughtfully and professionally. Hosts were very responsive and clear. We got some snow during our stay and they were on top of having everything shoveled. Stayed for Christmas while visiting family and couldn’t get over how cozy the place was. I felt like I was staying in the Nova Scotian version of Kate Winslet’s cottage from “the holiday”. Would be gorgeous in the summer too.

We spent two nights at Jocelyn’s place and it was just so lovely and relaxing. We were within a short drive of Whitepoint and Summerville beaches which were stunning, even on a cool fall day. The house was more than comfortable and well stocked. The grounds were perfect for letting our doggo run with his ball and we had a lovely walk in the area. Great place and super host!

Our stay was amazing and we have no complaints. We would definitely book this spot again! Check in and check out were simple and the host was quick to respond. All of the rooms in the house are bright with natural light and there is a view of the ocean from the living room. The kitchen had everything we needed and a big fridge. The gate to barricade the stairs was very handy to keep the children safe. The yard was well kept and included various gardens. Lots of space both inside and out. You can walk down the road to the ocean in about ten minutes. Thank you for a great week!

Andrea was easy to communicate with, accommodating and pleasant. Walking distant to beautiful Mavillette Beach. Neighbors were friendly and welcoming.

This was my second year staying here and it's just a beautiful place. Love that the ocean is right there, the waves are fun to watch and soothing to listen too. Jon was a very friendly host and made sure we had everything we needed. 5 Stars, would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful relaxing place to stay.

Crows Neck Beach is one of the best beaches on the South Shore, and is very close by. Baccaro is an important bird watching area , especially during migration times. The Hawk and Roseway beaches are a short drive and also worth a visit. We were happy to see how well outfitted the kitchen is and the fridge is large so you can easily store a week’s groceries. The washer and dryer are modern and work well. There is an outside line if you want to hang your laundry up. The deck at the back is private and is a great spot to relax, watch and listen to the sounds of the ocean through the trees. I managed to complete a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle on the kitchen island while we were there! We look forward to returning next year.

We had a great stay on the island, very peaceful and relaxing. Location was easy to find and the cottage had everything we needed. Cheery Hill beach was a five minute drive and absolutely beautiful. The woodstove was awesome for a November stay. We will definitely be back when the weather is warmer to enjoy the water. Thanks Jeffrey.

My partner and I stayed at Cara and Frankie's place for Vday weekend and loved our stay. Despite our car breaking down mid-stay and getting snowed in during a highway-closing hail storm, we had the perfect place to sit cozy by the wood fire place in the cabin-like aesthetic of this airbnb. We definitely note that Cara & Frankie's is probably awesome in the summer months, with their gardens, market, beekeeping tour, etc. all on the property... but we can also endorse that their place is a great stay in the winter months, even without all of that. We may even be back in the summer! Cara and Frankie themselves were always responsive, proactive in providing more firewood, giving us homemade cookies and honey, and most of all offering to drive us into town after our car broke down. Would always recommend!

We booked to stay in Shelburne over Christmas as our daughter is doing an internship there .We were very pleased with accommodations , very modern and clean . Jerry was very responsive to all communication . I would highly recommend staying here and certainly will book again for our next visit .

We had a beautiful winter weekend away from the city at Karen's place. It was cozy, clean, comfortable, and charming. A beautiful home!

Loved this quiet peaceful space for a family getaway. Close to gorgeous beaches. 15-20min away from Carters beach and Summerville beach. The latter is a great beginner surfing beach.

Highly recommend this place!! I stayed here with three of my friends and it had everything we needed. It was a clear night and the stars were out so bright. This property also has beautiful views of the lake and is in a very peaceful area. To top it off, the host is wonderful at communicating! Check in was made extremely simple for us. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location, private, pristine, peaceful. Lots of space, well set up for water activities, fireside chats, and relaxing the day away. The sauna is a wonderful addition. Well stocked with lots of towels and firewood, great layout with an open kitchen and comfortable living room.

This vacation home at White Point was the highlight of our family Christmas vacation. The space was large enough for everyone to be comfortable and we made great use of the fenced in backyard for our dog, plus playing in the snow with my one year old granddaughter. Having access to the amenities at the White Point Resort was a lovely bonus and very convenient to walk over for a meal or a stroll on the beach. We will definitely return!

Curtis’s place is the perfect spot to be close to White Point Beach and Liverpool. They had everything you could possibly need and more set up, the space was clean and accessible. The outdoor space really makes this place special! Hope to stay again soon!

Allen, Amazing stay with really beautiful antiques and facilities. Really enjoyed the jacuzzi bath. Feel very lucky to have experienced this home as it was everything that I imagined and wished I could live in this character apartment all the time. It was worth waiting for!! Thank you so much. Great spot to stay! Super close to both Summerville and Carters Beach. Very clean and comfortable place. We wish we could’ve made use of the fire pit/hot tub as it was lovely, it poured rain during our whole weekend stay. Would love to return to this same location for a future stay.

We enjoyed our time at Castaway Ocean Lodge. The location is very peaceful and scenic. We wanted to escape from the city and relax while taking in the ocean views- the deck was a perfect place to hangout. We had already been to the area before, so we knew that most of our time would be spent at the cottage. It had everything we needed. Loads of board games, all cooking necessities and even some kayaks! We explored Crescent beach in Lockeport and drove down to Carter’s Beach for the day (well worth it). Thanks for having us!
