This place absolutely exceeded our expectations. The home was spacious, clean, and loaded with more amenities than we anticipated. The speakeasy was such a cool touch and gave the stay a unique vibe true to the reason we were visiting the area. We had a blast on the pickleball court, and the video games were a hit with everyone. Plenty of parking made things easy, especially since we were on motorcycles—very bike-friendly setup. Access was smooth, and the whole experience felt effortless from check-in to check-out. It is very obvious from the moment we booked until the last goodbye message that there was a great deal of thought put into this home and making it an experience for all to enjoy. Would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

This is a great place to stay, peaceful and quiet! Pool, hot tub, and bar came in handy when relaxing The margarita maker was clutch lol Dustin is always responsive when needed!

The home was perfect. Well maintained, very clean. Comfortable furnishings, everything you could ask for in the main house. The game-room / garage was the cherry on top!

My group had such a great time! Looked exactly like the photos and had so much room! Everything worked great and I loved all the hot water even when we all took showers! There was lots of extras in the pantry like games seasoning cups and plates that were very helpful and a good set of condiments! Such an adorable lace and definitely would stay again next time we go to keen land! It was to cold outside for us the truly enjoy the pool but it looked lovely!

Spent the weekend for a bachelor party, this property was amazing!! Super private, plenty of space and great amenities. Our host had such great recommendations for distilleries, places to eat, and golf. Just an amazing stay and an amazing home. If you are looking for a place to stay along the bourbon trail, do yourself a favor and book this one!!

Great place for a relaxing getaway with friends!

It was perfect for our needs. Very clean and close to 3 distilleries. The kitchen is well stocked with pots pans bakewear etc, and clean. bedrooms and baths are clean and comfortable. The hot tub and pool were clean and ready for us with plenty of space outside to sit and relax. over all it was a great location and very well taken care of.

The house and farm were just spectacular. There were carrots in the refrigerator that were labeled “to feed the horses”. We took the carrots to the fence and the 2 horses came right up to us. We also had 4 families so the 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms helped us all have our own space while still getting to spend time together. We were in Shelbyville for my niece’s wedding so the location was ideal for us also. I would definitely recommend staying at this property.

This was a great place for five of us enjoying the bourbon trail. It is within 30 minutes of Buffalo Trace and Louisville, and an hour from Bardstown. Really enjoyed the back porch. Cooked dinner 3 nights and it felt at home. There is plenty of cooking pots/pans/utensils. Mark is a great host and was responsive.

Paula’s place was great! She left us bourbon chocolates, rain ponchos and an extra phone charger to borrow for the derby! Thankfully we didn’t need to use the ponchos!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful home near Shelbyville, KY! The property was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, making it feel like a home away from home. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking, and we loved using the grill for outdoor meals. The fire pit was gorgeous and perfect for cozy evenings, and the hot tub was a great way to unwind after a day of exploring. One of the highlights for us was the fully enclosed backyard, which was a dream for our pups! They had plenty of space to roam and play safely, giving us peace of mind. The home also offered plenty of entertainment options, so we were never bored. The location was excellent—secluded enough for a peaceful getaway but close to several distilleries along the Bourbon Trail, making it an ideal spot for both relaxation and adventure. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat with great amenities while being conveniently located for bourbon tasting and exploring, this is the perfect place.

Jamie was wonderful at answering questions quickly, helping with checkin promptly, and the home was exactly as described. Kitchen has all tools needed for cooking. Bedrooms and bathrooms all fully stocked with fresh linens, soaps, & Q-tips. Home is charming with plenty of room inside and out.

The house and service were impeccable. The home was gorgeous and squeaky clean. The furnishings were high end. The outdoor space was beautiful and the pool was the best of any short term rental I've had. The neighborhood and surrounding g area were beautiful. Mindy was a great host from beginning to end. She was responsive, offered great activity suggestions and left a great welcome treat with fresh bread, eggs, milk, pancake mix with lots of goodies for pur 3 kids. The only thing to nitpick might be location. Everything is 15-20 minutes away at a minimum. We did not mind but it is something for guest to be aware of.

Everything was clean and we had an amazing time in the pool. We loved this place so much we will be visiting again.

Our group was in town for a music festival, this was a great place to stay outside the city. The pool was definitely the best part, clean and a great place to hang out. The kitchen had everything you need, close grocery stores to get food and necessities. Plenty of space for watching a movie as a group, to eat around the table and comfortable bedrooms.

This is a fabulous place. Gabriella has thought of everything! The home is newly remodeled and not only beautiful but so comfortable. She has thought of every amenity! This location is central to Louisville, Frankfort and Lexington making the Bourbon Trail Distilleries easy to visit! Many great restaurants in easy driving distance. I definitely would love to visit again!

This is a jaw dropping, breath taking, absolutely stunning property!!! Pristine clean, beautiful surroundings, incredibly spacious, lacking nothing! I was deeply moved by Madge’s kindness and generosity when she offered to give us a ride in her four wheel drive vehicle due to inclement weather. She was intentional in communicating with me and making sure everything went smoothly. I don’t have the words to express how comfortable, enjoyable, and pleasant our stay was! What a lovely experience!!! Thank you so much Madge!!!

Like the listing states, this place has been a haven for our family while we’ve been out of our house due to kitchen and bathroom repairs. Shalane and Travis made us feel right at home in this space - the treats at checkin, homey decor, and responsiveness to any request made our stay wonderful. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a retreat to book this place. We will absolutely be back!

Just the kind of place you hate to leave! “The Old Farmhouse” has been meticulously restored, and beautifully furnished. It’s situated on a quiet road, surrounded by farmland. We so enjoyed watching the cows graze from the front porch swing. The kitchen is spacious and had everything we needed for cooking, and then some! Beds were very comfortable, with quality linens and the entire home was squeaky clean. What a delightful stay!
