Absolutely happy with our stay. The train came through often and the roosters liked to crow but it really did not bother us... The host was very responsive and the house is just as described

We were 3 couples and a single and LOVED staying in Jill's house for our high school friend birthday celebration! We wish we had been able to stay another night and enjoy the beautiful setting and easy access to the distilleries we wanted to visit. We found it was an easy half hour drive to nearly everywhere we wanted to visit and were able to drive through some beautiful horse country. The bedrooms gave us all privacy, the beds were super comfy and we had a great time cooking together and playing poker at the dining table. We all took walks down the road and enjoyed the peace of the neighborhood & while the boys had fun throwing axes in the yard. We didn't take advantage of the hot tub though it looked great! Hoping we can come back again!!

Great spot. A lot of recreational space. Very responsive hosts. Close to a Walmart, which was great. Couldn’t think of a better spot if you are doing the Bourbon Trail.

I can’t say enough good things about our stay! Anna was responsive and shared information about the area! The property was well maintained and very clean. We were welcomed with fresh flowers, a sweet note, and some yummy goodies too! The hosts went above and beyond the amenities mentioned! I traveled with my daughters (5 and 8) who loved the backyard and we played hours of tag, soccer, and catch together! We loved building a fire and grilling out. Oh and every morning my youngest made sure to say “good morning” to the horse across the street. She named her “Sweet Girl”. This hidden gem is our new favorite spot! We will definitely be back!

We traveled to Frankfort to celebrate my husband’s retirement on a recommendation from some fellow employees that lived in the area. I started my search and found the perfect place. It felt like home my home, I knew it would be big enough to accommodate my family and friends . It was the week after the flood and I was very concerned that we couldn’t go to BT and Brittany was very accommodating, reassured us that it would be okay but would assist in a refund if we wanted to go that route. She was right, we found plenty of things to do and see! We came in to find my daughter and husband already in the hot tub and we found the house super clean , nicely equipped and the “ extra touches” to welcome us of snacks and the fully stocked coffee bar! Lorrie’s place was absolutely beautiful! The scenery was amazing. Lorrie is very friendly and the inside of the house was exactly what was in the description and very clean. We hope to be able to stay at her house again if we ever visit Kentucky again!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Bagdad Bootlegger! The house was spotless, incredibly comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything needed for a relaxing and enjoyable visit. From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. Matt & Carrie were outstanding hosts—friendly, responsive, and super helpful. They answered any questions I had promptly and even went above and beyond by offering multiple great recommendations for when questions arised. It’s clear they truly care about their guests’ experience, and it shows in every detail of the home. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again—highly recommended!

The Yellow House is an absolutely beautiful home! We had everything we needed for the 5 adults and 2 children that stayed at the house. Parking was a breeze and everyone was very comfortable. We have family nearby in Crestwood so we will definitely be back!

I understand why previous reviews were from repeat stays! Matthew's place is in a perfect location for anything you want to do inside of Louisville. Great street parking and the space is so comfortable, tastefully designed and welcoming. The hosts have done a great job caring for the space.

5/5 stars. a little dust in the corners and the ceiling in the room has some small but noticeable water stains. however, i’m not thrown off by that type of stuff so personally this still gets 5/5 stars. Dede responded quick, location is great for a walk, my dog was able to stay. room was DARK and i probably could have slept for an extra 3 hours.

Great stay at Bethany’s place, and fantastic location that is close to the action but also very quiet. We loved Bethany’s apartment and would absolutely stay here again if and when we come back to Louisville. Bethany was very easy to communicate with and also has lots of great restaurant recommendations in the area, which was super helpful.

We were right by Buffalo Trace, which is why we were there. The place was great, great communication, and lots of information about the area given. A great place to stay!

Jaclyn’s home is so charming, and so welcoming! Maybe what I appreciate most is that this apartment has a sense of character and warmth that creates a sense of “place”. You really feel you’ve landed somewhere that’s been tended to with vision and with care. I especially loved the kitchen and the morning light. And Jaclyn has plants, which bring life to the space! This apartment is in a part of Louisville with tons of great restaurants, and wonderful architecture. I was so grateful for this stay.

As advertised and awesome! I loved the decor and at home feeling! Kerry was very helpful and everything was set up and ready to go! Will definitely come down and visit again!

This place is so stinking cute inside! Love the attention to details. Slight delay with getting keys to unit with apologies extended, so all good!!

Great stay. The owner has great attention to detail and the house was perfect for our family. Our son loved the arcade game so that was a bonus. We would definitely stay again!

Karen and Doug were very attentive. There was a tornado warning and they came and set up cots in the basement with pillows and sheets. Made sure we had bottled water in the basement as well as Hershey kisses on the pillows. We had to go there for about two hours in the middle of the night until our son who lives in Louisville texted us it was safe to go upstairs to bed at about 2:00 am. A tornado which was an EF 3 touched down about three miles from us but we were safe. Outstanding and caring couple

Deirdre was super responsive and even popped over quickly to address the AC not working and missing soap/shampoo. She was highly communicative and addressed all our needs in a timely manner. The condo is in the heart of the highlands and as such is super walkable. Great spot overall.

We stayed during the Great Flood of the Kentucky River in April, 2025 and were evacuated due to flooding. Jon was extremely communicative and helpful and so friendly. Great host!

Very accommodating host and great stay. Great location surrounded by great food and travel destinations. Clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again
