This unit is on the western end of a series of duplexes named Senedo Springs. The gravel roads up here are very walkable. It’s possible to trek down to Lake Laura although it’s a big vertical climb back up. The unit is airy and nice, better than the pictures. Thankfully there is not actually a murphy bed in the living room as shown in the pictures. The blankets are outdated so I recommend bringing your own. Plenty of cookware and dishes available but you’ll need to bring oil, spices, and all other food items. The amenities are great! It’s also nice they provide firewood just a short walk away. Good view of Great North Mountain in the winter. Amazing night sky from this location. This was our second time staying here and it kept its five-star rating!

A beautiful getaway for near Bryce Resort. Impeccable amenities, a peaceful stream out back and a cozy feel which was exactly what we needed for our weekend ski getaway. Ted and Lisa had thought about everything, even left a note for us which was such a nice touch. Everything for the sheets to the towels are high end and so comfortable. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy place near the resort. Thanks for all the extra special touches in your place, much appreciated!

Our family of 4 and our dog thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house had everything you could want. It was walkable to a few restaurants and a central location to explore the area. I was apprehensive about the owner staying on site, but don't be. They were completely out of hair until we needed something and then they were right there. More space than we could use. My son even got to keep up on his piano practice while there. Also, definitely a good value considering the space and amenities.

Lynn is a great host. We needed a place last minute as we were supposed to go to the NC Mountains and Hurricane Helene made that impossible. Lynn was very helpful in our search. She is responsive, friendly and very helpful. Group before us broke the coffee pot, she was not aware of this as they put the coffee maker in the cabinet. When we told her she brought over her own coffee maker for us to use. This is a historic house with historic elements if you love this you will love the house. The house had everything we needed and plenty of supplies, towels, etc. for our stay. We also love the no shoe policy as we never wear them at home so the floors are very clean. Great location too :)

The home was incredibly warm, inviting, and beautiful and near a lot of good stores - like Walmart for essentials and to the town of Luray, VA, which was very cute and quiet! Overall, my friends and I loved the house and had a great time and highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing getaway to the mountains. Looked just like the pictures! We had a small issue with the hot tub, but it was resolved within an hour or so of us checking in. Very responsive! Would book this house again!

Super clean and Cozy, lots of room. Master bed is really hard, but the other beds are soft. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Great place to stay, especially if you have kids and/or dogs. There are many outdoor activities for the kids and the upstairs bedroom has many toys to entertain them as well. There were place settings geared towards my daughter and son individually. They also loved the little treasure hunt set up for them. Water and food bowls were set up for our dogs, as well as a dog bed and covers on the couches for them. It was very relaxing for adults with many options to enjoy the property, whether inside or outside on the various decks (one is enclosed which is great for dogs), in the hot tub, or the fenced in grass area (also had seating).

Beautiful views! I can only imagine how beautiful it would be in the fall when the leaves change color! We had a peaceful, relaxing time!

Highly recommend staying here! The house was absolutely gorgeous inside, had plenty of space, plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms for a large group stay and was perfect for our stay. Also very close to Bryce Resort (less than 10minutes drive). Yuliya was very quick to respond! The only tiny complaint was there wasn’t much coffee or salt left when we arrived for our stay, but not a big deal at all. Directions for check in and check out were great and there is plenty of parking!

We enjoyed our stay at this fantastic well stocked townhouse! It was clean, had comfortable beds and furniture and plenty of space to enjoy board games, movies or just hanging out together. It’s close to restaurants and shopping with easy access to the interstate.

What a GREAT place for a getaway! The house was exactly as pictured. It was secluded but still close enough to civilization. It took us 8 minutes to get to Bryce Resort. It was clean and it smelled amazing as soon as you enter the home. The beds were ridiculously comfortable! Jennifer was very quick with her responses when I reached out. The kitchen was immaculate and stocked with everything you needed to cook your meals. One of the BEST things in the house is a white standing fan that's in the bedroom off the kitchen. It was PERFECT for those of us experiencing night sweats! This was a spur of the moment trip (The Hubby), so I was so grateful that Jennifer allowed us to stay in her home. I would definitely stay here again!

Love the place and the ability to bring out dog. Very close to skiing and very pieceful location.

We arrived just after a light snow fall. Brandy made sure to let us know about the weather. She advised us we should had an all wheel drive vehicle or 4x4 as the drive way is on an incline. When we arrived, the view was breathtaking. When you enter the home, the large window in the living room was picture perfect. We loved waking in the morning and beside that greeted me with my cup of coffee was a spectacular view of nature’s beauty. After a long day of sightseeing, we made a home cooked meal in the very well stocked kitchen, where you can still see the fantastic view, then soaked in the hot tub. The home was spacious and cozy. The skyline caverns are 10 minute drive toward Front Royal, the Luray Caverns were only 20 minutes away. Everything was just a short drive away. I recommend Apple Seed restaurant and Blue Quartz Winery . We really wanted to visit Daisy’s Diner at Cooter’s place in Luray.. next time! I would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Brandy, you’re a perfect host.

My family had a great stay at Lindsey's. This place definitely deserves a 5 star review! To be helpful to the reader, I will list pros and cons of things that made an impression on our family... Pros - Beautiful home with vintage charm. Tasteful decor/style. Bright and clean. Great hot tub. Convenient location. Nice front porch with comfy seating. Great price for value. Kids loved counting the train cars as the train passed. Cons - Loud train horn in the middle of the night, No 'inside only' locks on entry doors (as shown in listing), Bunkbed bolts are not maintained (very squeaky/shaky/unsafe for top bunk), Living room furniture was uncomfortable, King bed in front bedroom was extremely stiff.

My family loved the house! It's lovely with large rooms! Great kitchen and dining area! We loved the porch and property! So thankful to be able to take our dog too!

This is a cozy home in an incredibly beautiful area of the Shenandoah. Fully provisioned with a full kitchen and an indoor hot tub and sauna. Steve was a great host and very responsive. Especially nice if you wish to ski nearby. Spring is a wonderful time to relax there. A nice size lake is nearby with great hiking around it. A community supermarket and gas station is only five minutes away while it’s tucked away in the mountains with no active roads nearby.

Loved it here! Very convient and there were lots of recommendations with what to do in a binder at the house. Host was very accommodating! Very responsive quickly which is great. There were toys and games here for the kids, my daughter had such a blast! Definitely wish we booked for more time here to enjoy the fireplace outside and see what more there was to do but we were just passing through so booked it for one night. Would definitely stay here again!
