Beautiful cabin! There’s a river behind the house for some fishing. Nice fire pit and back patio. As mentioned before from other reviews, be careful with stairs! Very steep. Once I did the walkthrough, we found out it is easier to bring bags through the front of the cabin for those sleeping upstairs and ground level. Those sleeping downstairs entered the house through the back. Also, it is a cabin. Expect bugs. Other than that, WiFi strong (no cell signal), beds comfortable, hot water all the time, and clean area. They had bath towels and blankets.

Driving through the beautiful countryside to get to this place started the process of a peaceful few days away from the city! After we got settled in, we had a wonderful fire in the living room. There’s even a bin full of wood provided for you✔️ The house was very clean and well stocked. The screened in porch is definitely a bonus! A wonderful place to relax and listen to the water from the stream just a few feet away. We did manage to get in a hike at Big Schloss which is just down the road. Beautiful views! We took advantage of the fire pit (outdoor wood is provided as well!) and made s’mores while my children challenged each other to a game of horseshoes. We will come back again! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Had a lovely stay with our group of Scouts. The home was even better than the photos. Kitchen was outstanding and very well stocked, including with a generous amount of pantry staples. 2.5 bathrooms worked well for our group of 10. The stunning riverfront access and a huge yard area were added bonuses. Charming, thoughtful decorations adding to the allure. Virtually instant communication with our hosts. Look forward to returning again!

Great, relaxing place right on the water with wonderful sunrise and sunset views, two fire pits, and tons of space for kids to run and roam. Would love to stay here again when it’s warm enough to get in the water and relax outside by the fire! Very nice hosts, grill, everything you need.

We had a wonderful stay at this home! It was incredibly clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen had all the utensils, pots, and pans you could ask for, along with thoughtful extras like blankets and firewood for the outdoor fire pit. The gas fireplace and open living room-kitchen design made the space feel so cozy and inviting—like a true home away from home. The view is absolutely spectacular! We truly enjoyed sipping our morning coffee while looking out over the Shenandoah River and mountains. It was the perfect getaway, and we can’t wait to stay here again!

We wanted to do something different for Thanksgiving this year so we found a nice little cabin and brought our dogs. This cabin was perfect for the kids and dogs, because there was a fence. You can hear the traffic from the road but it’s not bad! It’s very quiet but you’re close to a Walmart and food places. The fireplace was a huge hit for our family. We used it everyday. It was just big enough to hold our family of 5 and two pups. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back one day!

The Riverfront Retreat was everything and more! The PERFECT getaway. The home is clean, well stocked, and decorated with intention and creativity. The beds are so comfortable and we got some great rest. Our dogs loved the outside space and the views of the snow covered mountains were breathtaking. The hottub was a highlight and so relaxing. We look forward to visiting again and thank Amber for such a memorable stay!

Lovely modern cabin near lots of things to do. Ryanne and Jay were very responsive and provided ample recommendations. Anything you could think of to do they provided - watersports, fire pit, books, hammocks, fully-stocked kitchen. We would come back when it is warmer to enjoy the hikes, caverns, and lake. Our puppy also loved the yard and rooms to explore. Thank you for welcoming him as well!

We loved our stay here! So dog-friendly and beautiful surroundings. We joked that we wanted to live somewhere just like it! Everything was very clean and well-stocked. Would totally visit again!

We traveled to River Camp on the Shenandoah w/ our 3 teens and it was the perfect setting for a family getaway. We hiked at Shenandoah National Park, visited Luray Caverns and enjoyed borrowing the house's kayaks, paddleboards and canoe. The house was perfect with beautiful, comfortable accomodations. Keith was proactive in providing information and very responsive to questions.

We had a great time! My two kids loved the upstairs play area. The home is beautiful and was perfect for our family. We had some trouble navigating the TVs (remote did not seem to work for main bedroom and we couldn't get the living room TV to stream), but Kinga was super responsive to any questions. We enjoyed nearby Woodstock Cafe for breakfast and exploring GW National Park. The location and setting was perfect for our short getaway and we hope to come back next year.

The place was amazing! There’s everything you would need and more! Taby was the best host I’ve had in a long time and always responsive and quick to help. Love all the amenities provided (games, kayaks, individual toothbrushes, mouth wash, great shampoo/conditioner). The kayaks and the chicken roaming around was a nice touch to the vibe. Taby also come and made sure we were able to plug in our EV during our stay. Super flexible checkout as well! Nothing but great things to say. We look forward to coming back when it’s warmer to take the kayaks out!

What a wonderful, peaceful cabin! Great location, amidst beautiful surroundings. Will be back for sure during the warmer months to take advantage of all the amenities. The host, Levi, and his family were very welcoming and super responsive.

Our stay was exactly what we needed. The property is gorgeous, serene, and peaceful. Chris was an amazing host and very accommodating. The view of the river, the fire pit, and activities were right on point and absolute highlights of the visit. We will be back!

This is the second time we stay at the bird’s nest and just like the first time it was amazing. Jessica is extraordinary. I booked our trip and later something very important came up and I contacted her to see if she could change the dates for us and she was very flexible. Also, the forecast was saying that we were going to get a snow storm on the day that we were supposed to arrive and Jessica contacted us concerned about our safety and asked me if I wanted to come a day earlier (free of charge) to avoid driving during the storm (like, who does that?) I was very tough by her kindness. After the snow storm we were a little concerned to be snowed in and again Jessica sent someone to plow the driveway making it easy and safe for us to get out. The place is spotless and they provide way more things than you think you might need. It’s very peaceful and a perfect place to unplug and unwind. I can’t wait to be back soon.

The cabin was perfect. It had everything we needed and Jaimie was friendly, responsive, and we really appreciated the flexibility with check in/check out.

Tupac's place was amazing!! We came for a relaxing weekend for my wife's birthday and his place did not disappoint!! Such a peaceful atmosphere and beautiful home. Tupac was very responsive and even requested a few places to go while we were there. I HIGHLY recommend this home. You'll LOVE the master suite. It's a special treasure of this home.

Really beautiful house that fit six adults easily! We loved the windows and kitchen, and were very grateful for the many extra blankets. And the host was extremely responsive with any questions. So lucky that we got to watch a beautiful snowfall from the living room.
